Worse than the average debt collector, they are attempting to collect on debt that isn't even owed to them.
They are calling people with multiple pay days loans, and stating they are an "Authorized Agency" (or something to that effect) to collect on loans that they don't legally own.

PLEASE STOP HAVING THESE RUDE PEOPLE CALL MY JOB AND THEY SHOULD NOT BE THREATENING BECAUSE THEY ARE ILLEGAL IN MY STATE. THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING 323-583-6531, 323-547-6092.

My husband got a message at work to call a Tom Landis at 1-800-399-8584 they called a few times in the same day and was very rude to the secretary when giving her the message to have him call they did not even use his first name since he goes by a different one when we tried to call the number it was to leave a message or use an extention that was not given to us and no company was named in the message is it legal for them to call his work anyway?

This guy also calling himself Tom Landis called trying to use an intimidating tone saying to call him at 800-399-8584. All he does is gives us a reference number and that's it. From my understanding they are supposed to identify themselves as to who they are if they are a debt collector. Am I right on that? I don't mind people doing their job even if it means constant calling, if I owe a debt I owe a debt. But at least follow the rules.

I received a call from this number and it is from a collection agency that is collecting for different companies that you might owe.  This Tom Landis is very rude and just kind of bullys  out until you pay I will pay without checking to see if you owe anything.  The company name is  Alliance Asset Management  Wood Dale, IL

I got a call from Mr. Cole from 800-399-8584 today.  He called like 6 times.  Was very rude to the girls in the office and even one time he called and said it was an emergency.  How do I make him stop calling me at work.  He has my home number and I don't mind him calling me at that number but not at work.

I want these so called bogus debt collectors to stop calling my work number.

I am getting harrasing phone calls at work from a Tom from this number stating his company is Alliance and I can't locate it anywhere or even a business associated with this number. I want this to stop due to getting many different calls from so called debt collectors that are bogus.

I received a call from this number on an emergency hospital pager.  I spoke to Dan Martin, Jamie Sanchez and Dan Dwyer about this.  Do you want the emrgency responders.  They clearly had the wrong number.  Do you want your emergency responders tied up this kind of thing when there is actually an emergency?
