Ok, just figured it out...7 million people out of work...6 million of these would rather live off the government that leaves 1 million to work as scammers, telemarketing, bottom feeders.
If they would just leave a message. Who answers 800-888 phones calls?

Another penny on the dollar, debt collection company.
Their dial out number (number you see on your Caller ID is 215-600-2012 (Philadelphia PA). They leave a long message asking you to call back to an 800 number (800-403-7807) and they request you give them an 6 to 10 digit reference number that they left on your answering service/machine. No other references.

The new twist call-out on local Cellular numbers, and leave an 800 number for call-back.

They have been calling here off and on for years asking for someone who does not live here. It's a robo-call so you can't say anything to it. It just prompts me to press 1 for this, press 2 for that. Not going to touch it. Not worth my time. Who ever this guy is he skipped town long ago.

OMG...my husband and i just bought this house 2 mths ago; had a land line put in last week. We've been getting many telemarketing calls since then naturally but THIS number has called about a dozen times already and has only left 2 messagesd that are barely understandable. It seems that the previos owner of the house had financial problems (which they told me themselves)...these "collectors" have connected this house with the new number and are now driving me crazy trying to get the previous owners....sigh...., since nobody there likes to answer a return call, I did the remove my number with the automated system by the 2nd day and yet they are still calling a week later even though should have gone into effect 24 to 48 hours..grrrrr

Each time I pick up, all I hear is music. I waited once for 2 minutes and no one picked up on the other side. Just music. I am never told the company name or what they want. It is pretty comical to me, especially now that they are on my cell phone block list and I don't even have to be bothered with their calls anymore. HA!

This is getting ridiculous they spam my office phone with calls its at least twice an hour some days when i answer it just plays some CREEPY music. I don't owe anyone money when i called back and talked to a operator they couldn't find my phone number and asked for my Social Security Number.

I kept receiving calls from them also...I called the number back and got hold of one of the agents and they had Kimberly Davis down for this number but what was weird is the number he called back to me wasn't even my number...so they was calling my number for the wrong person and had a wrong number in the system but now I am confused if they had another number why were they calling me??? I told them to stop calling my number and claims he took my number out of the system...we will see....

I keep getting a phone call EVERY DAY from this number. I know it's a "debt collection" agency, but it sounds like a scam. I have repeatedly told them that they have the wrong number, but they keep calling.

It's Enhanced Debt Recovery Solutions, been calling my number looking for someone else. Totally aggravating. This is a new phone number for me, and not because I owe money and changed my number, but because I just moved. These people are harrasing the wrong person and just plaine nasty.

There is no Daniel Laforge at this number, I received this number from comcast. Do creditorsrealize if someone can't pay their bill, they cannot possibly afford a phone.
I have been getting this guys calls now for 2 years from various bill collectors. I am sick of it!!!!

Calling at least once a day. Finally called the number back to order them not to call anymore. I got a recording that said to press '1' to report a wrong number. I pressed it. It asked me to enter 10-digit phone number including area code. I did so. It said it removed me from the list and I should not receive further calls after 24-48 hours. Then it disconnected.
I think I am going to write my Congress Critters about legislation putting a stop to this nonsense. We don't work for this or similar companies. It is not our job to help them cross names/numbers off their lists. THEY are responsible for doing their own work. Instead, they engage in these phishing expeditions wasting other people's time and money.
If they call again, I will be reporting them to law enforcement for harassment, and I will be talking with my attorney about filing a suit for damages. They want to demand MY time, then they can pay me for it!
