We do have Anthem BCBS through my spouse's job.  However, we're not interested whether this is offered through BCBS or a third-party partner.  Blocking it via my Panasonic phone system from Sam's!

I got the call, called them back and the lady on the other end tried to get medical information from me. They said they were Blue Cross.I called the administrator of my health policy. They did not make the call and sent me to Blue Cross who also said it was not from them. I feel we may have a scam in the making.

Just got a call from this number and as I answered there was a message saying, "Please hold for your health coach." I stayed on for a little over 2 minutes (as I searched the web for the number) and finally just hung up. (Currently job searching, so have to take strange calls, but wouldn't otherwise!) I just registered on the Anthem website a couple days ago. I agree that if they are giving me an upgrade or something for this service, send me a letter. Don't call and ask personal information. Duh!

They were calling about benefits available for my daughter...who is on medicaid....i believe scam because it said unknown name on caller id and i was just waking up from a nap (actually glad it happened this way) they gave me a number to call back for them to tell me about benefits available for her...number they gave me to call back: 855-753-2145. I have personal contacts who i can talk to that are legit for her insurance.

I receive calls from this number too.  They left a message on my machine, saying something about calling them back to find out way they were calling.  I am NOT calling.  They need to stop calling.

Just got my 3rd or 4th call from a company that comes up on my ID as RN Coach Program. They claim they are from Anthem. Wanted to tell me about a program. Told them we didn't have Anthem. Wanted to know when we dropped insurance with them. I told him it was none of his business and to stop calling me. I had to be insistant with him as he didn't want to take no for an answer. I was wondering if Anthem didn't sell this RN Coach Program a list of all their insured. If it was legitimate our name would not be on a list from Anthem and Anthem would not call since we are not insured by them anymore and haven't been for quite some time. Sounds fishy to me. Told him several times not to call anymore. Also if it is about a Prenatal program or anything to do with kids they would know we are too old for stuff like that. Kids are all grown, out of the house, married and have kids of their own. Not going to fall for their scams.

It's not about a baby plan or program etc. I have receive two calls from these yo-yo's and my youngest "baby" is 28 y.o. I don't think any of their plans are applicable.

I'm skeptical. Can you provide a link that verifies this number is legit?

Scratch that. Just called supervisor and number has been verified. Rep did not properly HIPAA verify me. Call has been noted. Rep called from Mountain time zone. I live in Eastern time zone. Call was abnormally late. THIS IS A BCBS LEGITIMATE HEALTH COACH PROGRAM FOR VARIOUS PLANS ACROSS THE U.S. sorry for the mix-up.

I work for BCBS and this number they are calling from does not match the number from the Health Coach Program listed at our call center......I believe this is phishing for PHI (personal health information) which identity thieves can use to screw you over.....I will be reporting this call tomorrow to my supervisor. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THIS NUMBER WITHOUT CALLING YOUR MEMBER SERVICES NUMBER ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD. (You can ask the "coach" to call you back, and a BCBS employee MUST comply with your request or chance having their call stats pulled and being immediately terminated).

Report any suspicious calls to your employer's HR/benefits office.

Gotten several calls from this number recently, which I never answer. Today, I got a message on my answering machine consisting of  ring tones. It must've rung at least 30 times before the machine cut them off. Very annoying. I absolutely would not give any personal information to these people.  

Called again as "toll free calle" and blocked.  ABC can send me a letter (on their official letterhead) if they need to contact me.  

I didn't answer but they gave me a number to call back and a reference number. This is related to an mri that my doctor ordered and he was letting me know it was approved and the date when I needed to do it by.  I have BCBS anthem health insurance.

Called last evening.  This is the second time in the last few days.  They leave a message, but robot starts talking before the voice mail is ready so we only get the tail end of the message.  We have no idea what they want.  The only part we hear is something about a case manager.  If it was important, a human would call, not a robot.

Anthem Blue Cross quality team.. Called me to give me my pre-authorization number for an MRI..

Anthem Blue Cross IS my insurance provider.  They give your number to their "partners" who offer services to you that you do not want or need.  They want to ween you off your doctor and have you rely more on their low cost "partners".  They are an insurance company, not a health care professional!  

You would think they would be upfront enough to display their name on the CNAM, but no, I get "Toll Free Calle" from these jerks.  

Added to my call blocker AND reported to the DNC (I did not give them permission to have their partners call me and that is what the new FTC rules stipulate).

Called from Blue Cross Blue Shield.  Not sure why because we don't have that insurance.

i have never given them or anyone permission to call my cell phone and that is where they keep calling

People called last eve @5:30PM-that is suppertime-----stupid!!!!! Plus it was a tape---stupid again----worth calling should be real person not tape!!!! The they calll again today showing toll free call----SNEAKY-----hide their identity.Person that time claimed to be blue cross & shield-----i say bull****!!!!!Just crank call trying to get info----told that caller irked call @ mealtime--oh sorry sorrry he kept saying----that does NOT fix it----does NOT uninterrupt mealtime---the dummies!!! NO matter how interested in what they had to say & i even wasn't or i'd called them but call me @ mealtime is automatic NOT interested----think who you are calling. Just crook usuing blue cross name.

I received a call from this number this evening. I understand now that it is Blue Cross/Blue Shield, although I don't know why they're calling me. I don't have any terminal issues (the number is for a program called Condition Care), and I've never been pregnant. I'm not returning the call. I don't have a reason to.

Still getting regular calls from this bogus number.  Still not answering.  Today they had the nerve to leave a message on my voicemail telling me to "stay on the line for the next health councillor" while they played elevator music to me.  Morons.

recording said it was to do with my insurance then asked me to call back at 8772367486.

Trash and they call and hang up on me, all hours.
