Same here, Recall about a product I purchased from Sam's Club.... It's actually nice that they call, although they called about a recall on a food product I purchased 5 months ago (yeah, we ate it a LOOONG time ago...)

I received a call from this number today and they left a message. It was from Sam's Club regarding the recall of Parkers Spreadable Cheese that I had purchased. The instructions were to return it or the label to Sam's because of contamination. Thank You Sam's Club!

It's Sam's club. You must have purchased Parkers Spreadable Cheese in 2 pack 12 oz cups. UPC 077766101074 or another recalled product. The link below on that webpage it has all the effective dates. It's been recalled. Their just notifying you that you can return it to Sam's for a full refund. It may contain Listeria monocytogenes. Consumption of food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes can cause listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially serious disease marked by fever, severe headache, neck stiffness and nausea. Healthy people rarely contract listeriosis, but it can sometimes cause fatal infections in infants, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems. Listeriosis can also lead to miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
