comcast sucks......I signed up on-line for $29.99/mo. for 12 months, after 6 months they changed my bill to $44.99/mo., when I complained they said they were sorry but they don't have or offer that package.......and I had it in writing. I printed out the the contract when I ordered it on-line.
They said they were sorry but there was really nothing they could do. YES, they are sorry....a bunch of sorry SOB's I could do something about it though....walk away and never look back. Soo long, bye bye, adios $hi!heads, you took enought of my money.
The easiest thing to do is just call them back. We recently cancelled Comcast and then the calls started. Thanks to this site, I found out who was calling and why. They were very nice and just wanted to confirm the disconnection and why we did it.
This number has been showing up in my call id for the last week, Just cancelled comcast internet like all other peeps here. They don't leave any messages, I try to call back but I'm not gonna wait to speak to anyone.
Yup just cxl my Comcast with a huge headache makes sense! Called Comcast 800 number and requested to be removed was told 30 days... Redic! Even picked up when they called noone was on the line.

I recently canceled my TV account with Comcast. I used my cell # for the account, now I know who and how they got my cell #. BTW, if you have a cell phone, Youmail is great for using as an alternate answering service. It's free, and you can add numbers to a Junk Call group and assign individual or group greetings. My Junk Call list gets a "number disconnected" greeting.
Yes, Comcast. I went ahead and submitted a formal FCC complaint as I have also canceled my internet to move.

followed BK's advice about calling comcast and requesting to have your number removed from their solicitation list. i was given a confirmation number, so if this is not offered to you make sure you get it.
I cancelled Comcast recently too. I have not picked up the phone and they left no message after calling 2x.
Comcast agent calling to "give me a great deal on service if I come back to Comcast". They have been calling me 6-8 times per week for the last 3 weeks.
The last time I spoke with them I told them to never call me again. About a week later the calls started again. 6 calls this week. Sometimes dead air. Sometimes a person. Harassment all the time.
I asked to speak with the manager. Got some guy named "Carl" Asked what his last name was, he gave me an "Employee identification number" Carl says the company is called "Employment Services" located in Madison Wisconson. I don't believe it one bit.
I will post again when they call back. I know they will. COMCAST aka Xfinity are CROOKS.

I'm getting SO sick of them doing this. It must be comcast because I recently cancelled service with them and that's when I started getting the calls. It's at LEAST 4 times a day..any time of day.

Same deal here, I received several calls from them and didn't answer, but finally got tired of it. The first time was dead air. They called back 5 hours later and tried to offer me some special deal. I told them I wasn't interested in their deal or receiving further communication from them, and she tells me it will be up to THIRTY DAYS until they can put my number into their "do not call" list. I HATE THEM - been trying to ditch their service for years.

Thank you all so much! They call me constantly because I told them I am moving and I might not want to continue their service. They want to charge me 79.99 just as an installtion fee when I move. All the wiring is already there! All they have to do i plug in that box and program it. Not happening. I am considering switching to Verizon Internet.

Comcast is just an ... corporation. Much like many others. It is in their nature to be unscrupulous. I dis-like them for something personal also. All they care about are numbers and who gets stepped on is not a concern. Comcast get ... Their stock was probably good but now I believe they are failing.
