These idiots call my cell five or more times a day they sometimes let it ring twice then hang up only to call right back they never leave messages the one time i answered demanding payment they were completely rude and absolute a***oles i told them i had no idea what they were talking about and that my cousin was just brutally murdered so i didnt have time for this they didnt care they just want their money. Who the hell r these uncompassionate rude a***oles!!!! Even if someone did owe for a debt they should be nice polite and show compassion they would probably get a better outcome we are all people who all have problems but we also all have hearts start using them instead of being complete pricks!!!!

Get this number showing up on my phone at least once a day, sometimes multiple times. Caller does not identify self. I have used my tel co to put a trace on the number as often as I could. I am on the national do not call list. But from what I gather that's a joke any way.

One of the best way to intimidate and inconvenience any collection agency that continue to intimidate and inconvenience you is to do the following...
When you pick the call, tell the person to hold, then turn on your home sound system and put it to its highest volume, then without saying anything, just put the phone right to the speakers so that the sound would be so loud to make the caller hang up. If you have no loud sound system, use your tv by turning it to music channel, put it to its maximum and place the phone right to the tv speakers.
Do that every time you get calls from collection agency or agencies. They become frustrated and disturbed just the way they also have been disturbing you. We should all do this to keep these idiots from intimidating us anytime and every time they think they can.
Do it cos it works. Now most have backed off. If they call my number or my house, they know what they are going to get, they know what they expect. ,Don't forget the objective... to disturb them as much as they disturb and intimidate you. So you are just doing same to them. If they don't want to be blasted with unexpected loud music, they should stop calling people's home.

The Call I received came up as a Private Caller. Message only indicated a "confidential" file number but no company name was even stated. I returned the call and was asked to verify some info. Postal code, address and last three digits of my SIN number (though I was very reluctant with that one). My postal code didn't match theirs, nor did my address, and certainly not my SIN digits. Her response was, "Oh, sorry. I guess it's not you. We're trying to find someone else." Real detectives, this bunch is...

Yes, I have CC Debt, yet they are paid faithfully and we do not have book, CD, DVD or any other "CLUB" type membership. On a home phone and it goes to voice mail which is VOIP and digitized so I can delete them without listening to them. Simple routing filter on my inbound email.
I also have been nagged by Fedex over some brokerage charges from something shipped by Fedex from the US to Canada. I believe it is Fedex. The brokerage charges were never discussed or approved by me so I have NO IDEA why they think they should be able to collect the charges from me. The product was shipped to me by a US vendor. If there were charges (brokerage) I would have told them to return the product. Since I was never asked, I refuse to pay the charge.
I believe this to a FEDEX scam and the brokerage firm is likely related to FEDEX or an employee/subsiduary of FEDEX.

When I checked the Voice Mail it was a woman's calling herself Dawn and she gave me her number an extension (2286) and a PIN number to reference also. When I called the number back, It I was immediatly directed to a Dawn the person who had left the message without having to enter in an extension. She said they were NCO and asked me to tell them the phone number I was called from (again didn't ask for the PIN number she referenced in the voice mail). She confirmed my name and then asked for my address and postal code. I would not give her any information until she told me who they were and what their company did. She said She could not divulge that information until I proved I was who I said I was and also that she could see my SIN number. I then Said I would be hangning up as I would not give any information out without as reason as to why they were calling or even what their company did.

NCO Finacial is a collection agency a real bunch of loosers when it comes to telephone communication, they buy up dept notes from the likes of UPS, Fedex, in my case 15.32 CDN for Fedex's after payment shipping scam just like UPS's, cross border fee's scam.

Call them back and tell them you are calling your lawyer and you will sue them. Also you are contacting your local consumer protection agency and filing a complaint, as it is ILLEGAL for them to contact you on a cell phone PERIOD!! Do some research on it, and see for yourself.

Hey I just saw your comment and thought I would say something to you.The same thing has been happening to me but there is another person in this town with the exact same name but luckily for me when I PHone them they almost always say this persons birthdate and or street name and of course I wasn't born on their birthday let alone year plus I never lived on the street that they mention.Hope this helps you guys out

I too just recieved a message asking to get ahold of them for a personal matter and they left a confirmation number so I phoned them and of course it is another person of the same name in this area. I have gotten phone numbers from colleges (hilarious ) as I never even finished high school and insurance businesses several collection agencies ,power bills,and my all time favorite was I PAYED 2 CELL PHONE bills as they phoned really early and I wasn't totally awake and I also have never owned a cell.The lady promised that they wouldn't phone back and she apolized.I am considering changing my number or getting a private number .Hope you people have good luck with these matters also!
