I kept getting phonecalls from a company called FFC.  They asked for someone else and I told them that I had my phone number for about 6 months.  I don't know who the other person is and they must have had the same number that I have now.   Anyway, they keep calling and I ignore the number now. This is a pain !!!!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

These people scammed me out if 300.00 that I thought I  was paying on an auto loan debt. I received a summons and it is a different attorney. I spoke to a women by the name of Denise Wright at extension 1177 at the above number. The amount taken was 150.00 plus a convince fee by Servicing Solutions LLC on March 31,2014 than the second payment was under Mike Andrews which also had the same fee same amount I am fuming right now! I never took out any loan from them.

I have been getting calls from this company "WHO THE HELL ARE OU PEOPLE?"  I don't know who you are looking for. The next call I get from them They get a call from my lawyers.

Hey. Thought you might like to know...I think 500 fast cash is being sued or something to that affect.  I've had loans with them for years. All the sudden I'm getting emails stating that can't process payments anymore and I need to call and make other payment arrangements like money orders or checks.  So I began investigating and have read that lawsuits had been filled last year. I'm guessing something has went down! Thought you might enjoy the news being that they've harrassed you! It's my understanding they've been running an illegal business.  They've tried to get around state laws by claiming laws through the Indian tribes. Crazy!!

That would be pertaining to the regulations in place, in most states, that require a debt collection outfit to be licensed & bonded in order to pursue debts. In such a case, if a collector is not properly certified, he may not collect Principal OR Interest. If that doesn't p****off fraudulent collectors enough, we can delve in to the fact that many on-line & PDL loans are illegal in many states. Meaning that, if you found yourself foolish enough to fall for one and you live in one of those states, you have no legal obligation to re-pay it and the creditor has no legal recourse to collect it.
Life can become a real nightmare for bogus & fraudulent collectors when people take the time to understand their rights. Of course, if you're a bogus or fraudulent debt collector, your life already is one. Otherwise you wouldn't have been reduced to being a bogus or fraudulent debt collector.

I got a call from this number from a Desirea.  She was trying to be persistent and trying to get me to say my name.  I didnt answer any of her questions, because she wouldnt answer mine.  Sooo, buh-bye!  Who are these people?
