this phone number is trying to call me many times a day and asks for my SSN.

You filled out a form to receive healthcare insurance and gave your number. Call them back and answer their questions so you covered.  I wasn't covered and ran up a $20K medical bill because I didn't that's not covered.

Actually this really is Health Care Options, it's affiliated with the government (Obamacare??) or your local Social Service dept.  They help people sign up for a health plan via DHS etc.  They usually only call if you called them first, they don't telemarket.

left message my address for Medi-Cal was not valid and needed to call the number or lose medi-cal. Called actual Medi-cal and no problems, they asked for number to log it and put fraud alert to my case as someone tried to change my address.

It is the CA health care when you search the number, they have called me a lot, but when I answer there is no response. I blocked them. If it were the state health care, medical, they should be able to contact you via email or mail.

it is the State of CA calling to try to get your benefits signed up.  It is calling me on my cellphone.  What doesn't make sense is why or how do they know to call my cell phone?  They must be desparate to get people signed up.  I have my own health care plan, don't need them!!

Got a call. Wasn't near my phone at the time. Message about questioning my current healthcare plan and options was left. Most likely legit since I recently signed up for Medi-Cal.

They keep calling, yet no one is ever there!  I called the number back to ask them to stop calling, received no answer.  Since we are on the do not call list, I have reported this number.  We get calls EVERY morning from them.  We have stopped answering the phone if I see this number come up.  

Stop the bull s*** get it done congress all your doing is hard on the people.

This numbet calls me two times a day and shows up on my phone as "san diego count" and they never say anything its real annoying at 8am and 9pm its b***s***!

Calls every morning at 8am
If I pick up, nobody answers.
If I don't pick up, they leave a voicemail telling me to call back at the 800 number.
If I call back, they insist on a social security number before I can talk to a representative.  
I am not anywhere near the eligibility age for Medical nor have I signed up for any CA insurance recently.  No idea where they got my number and not about to give my social security number out to a them just to talk to a representative.
SCAM!

They called to remind me that it is time to choose a new Health Plan or stay with the one I have.  This is just a once-a-year thng if you receive Medi-Cal/Healthy Families Insurance (from the state of California).  TAKE THE CALL!  You may miss out on changing your insurance and have to wait another year for the chance again!

Yes these people always call and hang up after two rings. They never leave messages.

It's for Health Care Options, which is Medi-Cal. Get the number they give and call back, then you'll know it's legit.
