Someone just called me saying the same thing... Glad I'm not stupid enough to fall for it lol

Don't do this. My dad used a whistle to do the same thing and they set it up so we'd get called every few seconds to harass us. They have the technology, we do not.

I applied in a Call Center in our area, i trained there for almost two weeks but i smelled something fishy is going on and so i left.

This is what the opening script was like.
" Hello? oh Hello there Mr. ___. Good Day! My name is ____ and I am calling on behalf of Cancun Getaways. you have been luckily selected to avail 80% off in an all inclusive grand vacation here in Cancun.

and then i do some research and i found out alot of scam issues about that company.
I think i can help you with this matter. Yeah, this company is in the Philippines, they're targeting Filipinos who work abroad. i think i can help you but it is so dangerous for me to reveal my identity  because it is a large company operating here in the Phils.

My name is Michelle Bixby and am the owner of the real Cancun Getaways.  My company sells online trips to the Palace Resorts/Hard Rock hotels in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.  Another company, Cancun Getaways-Mexico has been badgering by phone mostly Canadian Filipinos, around 99%, to purchase trips from this company.  Not only do they solicit their business by phone, they continue to badger them by phone multiple times, intimidating and even insulting them till they relinquish to give Cancun Getaways-Mexico their credit card number.  You have become another victim of this company!   This has been going on for over a year and it is all over Canada.  They have recently started to target Filipinos in the US.  Some of the telephone numbers which they use are:  1-888-497-6836, 1-800-961-8354, 416-363-5905, 416-360-1936.  I tried going onto their site today, 5-22-03, www.cancungetaways-mexico.com and it seems to have been removed.

    I have been getting many calls from the victims as their credit card company is giving them my telephone number 1-888-387-7468 as the culprit. www.cancungetaways.com  I do not nor have I ever solicited business by phone.  I am not the person who victimized you or any of these other innocent people.  The calls are being made by Filipinos right from the Philippines!

Just got the call, I collected the information and came to check in the Internet because I was suspicious, and sure enough , I was right.
People like this should be in jail, no more no less

really... the company is for real but sometimes the problem is the person who are calling, because sometimes they have their personal interest.

Guys! Please be careful with these scammers....dont give your credit card numbers to strangers...If any telemarketers call you and offering anything that is to good to be true do not believe and never give your credit card numbers...esp. from Cancun Getaway, Premier Cancun Vacations, Ocean Spa and Laguna Sa Resort or Sunset World they are only one company they are scammers....BEWARE!!!!

Hi Tita, I am also a victim of this scam...the same companies and the same nos. I filed for a dispute and right now i just got the dispute form.  I just want to ask you what are the supporting documents that I nedd in order to win this case. Thanks in advance.

416-364-1114, 1-888-4916836,1-866-8093307 is a scam and avoid talking to them. I was a victim and collected my money from my visa account. I feel sorry to my self....this is a big mistake and I charged to my experience. I am feeling bitter but I am still hoping to get my money back eventhough they said non refundable. I ask help from my bank "dispute department" to contact the merchant. My bank closed my visa account and give me a new one right away and inform to the fraud department. I insisted that I want my money back and I love my family because if Cancun Getaways will lead us to Mexico we are not sure how safe we are. This mysterious calls us many times per day which my number are listed to "do not call list. I did my research in Canadas Govt. after I purchased and I found out that I am a victim of SCAM.It seems I am a victim because their advised are exactly the same what the telemarketers did to me.

I provided a lot of supporting documents to the bank and to the merchant to fight my money back. This is money I work hard for this for my family vacation.To make the story short I won victory...my bank reverse my money (credited to my account). God is soo good. you guys, don't ruin the name of a company., because i've been to cancun and i've purchased the package from cancun getaways., some people are just trying to ruin its credibility maybe because they just want to bring that company down., or they're just one of those companies that's too desperate to earn and be famous like cancun getaways., for me they are vacation specialist.

Recieving three to four calls in a row from this number all leaving no message.

1-888-267-1882 left no message, a telemarketer number, don't answer it- report it.

I yelled at them and will file a complain. I also dialed their number every 5 minutes and every time someone answered I yelled at him/her and told him/her to take my number off their calling list.  next time I get a call from them I will use a boat horn and blast their ears off!

Got a call looking for money to sign up for a lovely vacation as long as I pay $1500 up front. Asked them to put me on their do not call list.

Just got a call from these guys.  Never gave them a chance to talk, but it was an asian lady with an accent asking for someone in my household.  I pretended I didn't know who that was and hung up on them.  Looked this number up on the internet, and sure enough it's another telemarketing scam.  I've put my number on the do not call list, but yet have a ton of other people including this number calling constantly.

i got calls from these people.. at first i simply just hangup but out of curiosity received oneof their calls, simply trust yvette, trsuted her and gave  my creditcard#...
i thought am so dumb suddenly trusts people i just knew over the phone but guys im in cancun now.

Yes I have the same problem with these people keep calling my house and telling me I was selected by their company for 80% discount to cancun vacation  told them I am not interested and he or she would ask why,,,,,, I told them they should not be calling me because I am registered with not to call list that they should take me off the list, but still almost everyday either they will use the number 888- 267 1882 or 416- 364 1114. SSSSSooooooooooooooo Annoying.....................And yeah He or She asked me too if I am Filipino........

there's this guy who called  from the number(888)267-1882 and told me about a good deal on Cancun getaway and asking my credit card and to book it right away as the promo will expire on that time he called. I said that i will call him back but he insisted to me that i have to book at the time he called but i said i was busy and he just keep on calling every single day but i dont answer.

Showed up as unknown name, didn't answer suspect a telemarketing call.

I get calls from these guys all the freakin time.

I yell at them, and tell I'm on the do not call list - and they stop for a while.   But then it starts all over again.

I've reported their number - now I just hang up on them.

A***oles keep calling me. I called them over and over and over back yelling at them telling them I am going to harrass them like they do to us. I told them I was spreading the number on the internet for people to harrass them as they do us. CALL THE NUMBER BACK AND KEEP CALLING THEM. It's some freaking foreign guy. I wish I could block all the numbers from India and the phillipines.

You could hear the entire call center in the background.  Strong Asian accented woman had to repeat what she was calling for...never did understand.  I told them to take me off of their calling list immediately.
