I have been receiving calls from this number all times of night and day 7 days a week.  I decided to call and yes I do owe money to the company that was mentioned.  The agent answered by saying hello instead of announcing the collection company name (my first sign) when I ? that she said did someone one call you and I said no, I'm calling you. (my second sign) Then she offered me a settlement amount which was too good to be true (my third sign) I accepted and made payment arrangements with her.  As I was giving her my cc info she was repeating it.  Having done collections before myself, I know that you are not supposed to repeat a persons cc info.  I asked her was she aware that she is not supposed to do that and she said she never heard that before (my fourth sign) Now you're probably thinking what the heck is wrong with me!!!!!!!! I asked her whats the name of your company again and she said Qualia you can look us up on line.  I said ok and I continued to make arrangements with her. Boy am I slipping I KNOW BETTER!!! I gave her my cc info and then I looked them up (BACKWARDS) Thanks to all of you and your previous posts.  I immediately went to the ATM and emptied that account and called my cc company and cancelled the card.  I then called the company back and of course she was not in.  I told the agent I was just calling to make sure she sends me a settlement letter in the mail and he said ok.  JOKES ON YOU CROOKS!!!

Received a call at work from a "Rebecca" with QCS asking me to call her back at: 800-433-5709.  They called my work number and their number came up as: 707-238-5176.  Just left me a message.

I received a telephone call from SVC collection with a phone number of 800-433-5709.  I did not answer it because I pay my bills.  

They call about a debt that I haven't even received a written letter about and demand all kinds of financial and personal info.  They ask your employer name and how much money you make per week, etc.  I told the guy that I am not providing that information, he began threatening me with all kinds of legal action.  I kindly explained to him that I believe I have 30 days to dispute the alleged debt once I received written notification.  

I get calls from this number on my cell phone all the time but I never pick up because I don't know who it is and I don't answer unless I know the number.  I am on a no call list.  Isn't there anyway to get them to stop other than paying to block them?

I continue to receive calls from this number for the person who had this number years ago before me! When I try to call them back or tell them they have the wrong number I get disconnected before being able to explain it to them! How can i make the calls stop?

keep getting calls from this company..I owe no body any back debts...when I returned the call all I got was a "hello" and it sounded like I called someone at home...

The Foreign lady's introduction was unprofessional. Stuttered a great deal. Not Stuttered as in a Speech deficiency.  
Okay here is an example of what they were telling me to pay.
They said my debt was,( lets say for example) 650. But if I paid 370$ I will get out of that debt. & I tell her that 650 isn't right. I didn't tell her this, but my debt is 4,000$ (For example). So that got me suspicious.
She told me that she wasn't sure how long they would have my husband's account. So I need to react ASAP. & I asked her if I could make payments. But she told me paying in lump sum would be better.
So I asked her about paying methods (to find out how they were going to play me.) & This confirmed my suspicion.
I could only pay via PHONE, with check or debit card. Which I haven't seen hardly any business or Collecting agency at that, to NOT take a Money Order!
I brought it to her attention that I felt uncomfortable doing this. & She told me I could look them up online. Well I did & some sites say they are trustworthy & others say they are a fraud & that they were very rude & unprofessional. And I agree.
She also reassured me that she can send me a "Promise letter." Stating that I agreed to pay the lump sum of 370$
But after she gave me the Email address & Mailing address (trying to get as much information as I could about this "agency as I could."
I tried getting as much information as I could. To help myself research it better & to help you all.
After her giving me all the information, I then told her that she was very unprofessional & that I'm sorry but I believe that your a scam. She then said Well Im sorry Brandi. But I can't prove that Im not but other than send you this letter. And then rushed off the phone.
How rude is that? I mean the 1st time I say it, she just tries to butter me up. But I then get all the information I can from them & tell her that shes unprofessional and that im pretty sure that this is a scam & she said "Well I don't care what you think Brandi. I think its time for me to end this call."

This is my Opinion. I do know that scamers can do a money order. & Im not saying that there is some that doesn't do Money Order. But really?? How rare is this nowadays?
Anyhow, Whatever decision you do, is up to you. You've been warned. I hope you the best & that it wasn't a scam, if you did give them your money over phone.

Block the number on your phone use mr. number app to block them on cell phones. They call my cell like fifteen times a day!!!!

This place called me last year and has just started up again. They have a recorded message asking for "Juan Castellano". When you stay on the line or call them back, they never heard of a Juan Castellano but want your information to "direct your call". It's a phishing scam. I reported them last year and just reported them again. Apparently no action is taken. Note: that if you get SS or disability benefits, these syndicates find out immediately and start calling you with phony names or pretend you owe somebody money. It's a disgrace.

Apparently they were calling me regarding a balance with Rosetta Stone. They had my name and number but an invalid address and other false information. They are a***oles as well.

Just reiterate what was said above. The guy who I answered to became pretty abusive when I refused to deal with him. I asked who was collecting and for what. He wouldnt answer this except to say he was thier representative. Another scam to get money under false pretences.

I got a experiences and I set this number on the reject list.

This happened to me over five times.  I have answered the call and they are looking for an unknown. The last time was 8/11/2010 at 4:10 pm  After I state who? They continue to ask to speak to the person, want to leave a message. I state I don't know them and what is this company name etc. because I have let you know I don't know them and remove my number.  Then they hang up.   I called back and spoke to Zic, and she looked my name up and stated we have nothing on you can you give me you home phone Number.  I stated NO...you have nothing on me and still calling on my cell for someone I don't know and now you want info on me. and my home phone... At that point I let her know my number is on the Federal Do Not Call list as well as the State.  I said I will have to report your company and the Government will give you a fine.....She stated OK... WHAT IDIOT WOULD WANT INFO ON SOMEONE YOU DON'T HAVE IN YOUR FILE OR EVEN ANY BUSINESS WITH.????  I know times are hard and people want to keep a job and have a call quota but call the right numbers......

I received a call from this number and I said hello, and no one said anything to respond. This number has called me several times, and they wont say anything. This was on October 24, 2008 at 3:35 pm.
