I do not and have not used Protection One for security services. The caller left a voice message on my cell phone saying " this is Protection One calling about a front door entry alarm, repeat, we received a front door entry alarm, please call 877-776-1911 ASAP!"
Well, of course I did not return the call, my alarm service is with another company and I am at home and the alarm has not gone off! Stupid people

Called at 7:15AM! No one there. Do not know them and have not ever had business with them! On do not call list, but constantly harassed! My phone is for me, not them! They don't pay my bills!

This daft company/bots call me on my cell phone before 6 am...I answered the call and no-one was there...I do not have an alarm system with this company...I am not going to call them after reading all the posts from other harassed folk...I just saved their number in my phone as 'Spam' and will ignore their calls for eternity :-)

looks like an auto dialler, on do not call list, a--holes! no message left. this is illegal. dorks

read your contract

maybe you should read your contracts before signing them....and maybe you should pay your bills and they won't be calling you....just saying.  The have an A++ rating with the BBB and are an excellent company.  They provide same day service, and you always get through to a live person, no recording.

Just a positive note- I got a call from this number because my husband opened our masteroom bedroom window and forgot he had set the alarm. Thanks for looking out for my brainless husband!

This Protection One auto phone calls are way over board.It does'nt do any good to even talk with these people.One might same the left hand does'nt know what the right hand is doing!Do not do any type of bussiness with them.They lie,cheat,then harras you for ever.When you ask them to resolve the problem they go out of their way to side step you.They have no idea what customer service even means.

Got a call at 5:15 this morning from this number. I dont have a clue what protection one is. From other comments it looks like an alarm system but we don't have one nor have we ever though of grtting one.

I've never heard of them before so obviously have never had any kind of relationship w/the company, so have no idea why they are calling a couple of times a day on my pay-per-minute cell phone which I never answer, or use for that fact.  I only take it on walks at night in case I have to call 911.  I have never given this number to anyone, including my family members, and pay-per-minute phones are never registered in a person's name so there's no way they know who they are calling.  As soon as I got the phone I registered it with the Fed do not call list between 2-3 years ago, but after complining about every call, they have not stopped and it's been a couple of months now.

This is Protection 1 help line.  If they are calling it is prob because your cell number belonged to current/former customer and has not been updated in their system.

Complied with contract terms cancelled my service paid their final demand bill then they they renewed the contract without my  consent or knowledge. They have no legal standing but that doesn't stop them. They are creeps and there is this Ms. Ima Idiot in charge over there. I will begin posting  the name formal from her letter for all to see. Maybe we can locate her #'s and harass her and her family non-stop? 24-7-365

You work for them ? Many people getting calls have said they never used their service, they are not debt collectors trying to make you pay your bill. Just plain old telemarketing and annoying sales calls

This # keeps calling our business asking if the owner is in but since they do not know his name you can tell they are just selling something.

They use an automated # dialer, the giveaway is the 3-5 second delay after we answer before their autodialer connects to an operator on the other end. These machine dial several #s at the same time, when the computer detects a person has answered it connected to that call and drops (hangs up) on the other numbers, thats why all the complaints about being called and hung up on.

Calls and hangs up when we answer, dont know what protection one is and guess we do not want it. # now blocked, problem solved.

My formal alarm system merged with protection 1, or protection 1 took over their company. Any way we have an association that takes care of our monthly dues for the alarm system. They installed my new system last week. Today I came back from shopping and put the wrong numer in trying to correct it. I got a call from this number and was not fast enough answering the call. So I waited awhile for the police to come, they never showed up. then I decided to call the number back a female just said hello 2 times never saying what company it was so I was sure it was a debt collector's number and found it here.  Our old company always had the name of the company displayed and anounced themselves. It seem from what I read on this site that our association made a big mistake. Anyway our managing company pays the bill for us.

800 438 4357 - Phishing scam - looking to dupe people out of ID info. They call frequently for about a week and then go away without ever leaving a message. Probably a Wall Street spin-off.

Twice today at work this number pops up on my caller ID and leaves no message. Im getting irritated that its for protection 1 and I dont have a security system. I work for the government and Im sure we have enough security and I know for a fact its not with this company.

This is from a company name Protection 1 it's a alarm company.

Uhmm...either pay your bill past or current or they are obviously calling you in regards to an alarm signal and your phone number is listed as a contact number. Just pay your bill (duh) or ask to have the phone number removed and hope your mother's house is not burning down!

keep getting calls from this number with no one answering.  I think it is Protection One.

One call per day and the message is nothing but static.  The caller ID says "Not Provided" so it doesn't seem to be Protection One.

I received a call because my sister's alarm went off when she was out of town.  Somebody put your number as an alternate contact.  Find out who's alarm went off.  If it isn't anybody you know, then somebody (data entry or customer) put your number in by mistake.

They called me yesterday.  My kids had triggered the alarm.  But I forgot what the call was, so I googled it.  If you or someone you know has their service, they might call you as a contact when the alarm is triggered.  Makes sense that they would call your vacation house if that is where you are when the alarm is triggered.

6:39 am these idiots called. Didn't catch the company name, but if Protection 1, no reason to call us, we have NEVER had their service. Didn't even have a correct name to ask for.
That person who suggests you "pay your bill" but can't spell half the message is no doubt one of their scammers too.

No, they have called 3 times today!  I have cancelled the service 2 years ago and I did pay my bill.  These people are crazy.

I have canceiled the alarm service from Protection One two years ago.  They have horrable service when I needed tech support and made my home lost protection for weeks.  I have used theri service over 5 years with a contract in the first 2 years.  I did paid all my fees and sent them letter in writing as they requested when I called them to canceil service.  I got calls from them daily since then.  They called couple times a day with recording always saying the same thing -- "This is a non-emergency call from Protection One....".  Then, I recently start to receive calls which playing music or silence after saying hollo.  I have just got one silence call from this number again at 8 am this morning.  I would NEVER use their services again, NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT recommend them to anyone!!!
