Received several phone calls from a "Richard Watts" looking for a neighbor of mine... he knows my name and in which house on my block the person he tries to find lives! He asks me to give the neighbor a message and gives this name and this phone number.
Very fishy!!!

They are a debt collection agency - GC Services.   They eventually left a polite message so I called back.

I've received this call several times, and no one ever leaves a message. So I called them back and let them know this is actually my business line, and the guy looked it up and said he had it listed as a TMoblie number, and gave me the guy's name it was listed under. I let him know I get a lot of calls for this guy, and that I must have his old number. He was kind enough to take the number off their list, at least he said he would, so we'll see.

They called early this morning a few minutes past 8:00. I got the Telezapper which blocks and erases all 800 numbers from the callers. If I am on the computer and the phone rings I have the Easy Hang Up that when you press the bottom it says, "I'm sorry this numbers does not accept this type of call. Please regard this as your notification to deleted this number from your list, thank you. Then I go to the Do Not Call online and file a complaint.

They called me asking me to leave a message for a neighbor.  The neighbor was not contacted.  I called "Vicki" and yelled at her supervisor for 20 minutes about the fraudulent nature of the call.  The call was a "100% lie" from beginning to end.  The phones were not broken,  There was no "business deal" that needed to be finalized.  They were a collection service even though they denied it.

The ftc.gov website says:  "If you don?t have an attorney, a collector may contact other people ? but only to find out your address, your home phone number, and where you work."  This company already knows the party's address and phone number, and did not ask for said from me.  Again, the call was "100% lie" from beginning to end.

Received a call from this number from John Hartley saying that he had some very exciting and important news for me. He said he'd look forward to talking to me this afternoon.  Instead of calling back, I did a Google search on the number and found this.

Called my neighor and have them give me a note, "Call Ben Johnson from GC services @ 1-800-457-2370 Ext. 2172.

A John Hartley from this number called me and asked me to go to my neighbors house and post a note on their door to call him.  Not only do collectors harass the folks who may be delinquent but now it looks like they are going to harass their innocent neighbors too.  This is wrong!

From 800-457-2370 and 858-577-3668 very rude. Asked me all kinds of personal question, which I would not answer, because they would not give me any information. Finally she gave me her name "Mickey Laflora." Called both our land line and my cell phone. Her reason for not giving me any information or allowing me to talk to a manger was because I am "a child." Well, I am 25 and I can't help that I sound like a child on the phone. I can't believe she'd talk to me me like that if she really did think I was a child. What a horrible company.

These people call me leaving a message saying "I have good news! Please call Mr. John Hartley at 1-800-457-2370 at ext. 2386. We'd like to see you in our office between 9:30 and 11:30 am tomorrow!"

They make it sound like a job interview or something.

Then they called back and said, "We have good news for you. Please call me this evening etc...."

It's a ruse.

These people say they have a personal message for a Susan Gallagher. When I asked why they have called me if it is personal, the man, who said his name was Greg Holman, said it was a very long story. He mispronounced my name and he has called before. I have told these people not to call here anymore, there is no Susan Gallagher here. Wonder why they don't just find people by googling? Too stupid, maybe?

They just called my house asking for the grown daughter of neighbors of ours. I was immediately suspicious and googled the number....and sure enough, here it is.

Received a phone call from GC Services for someone who does not reside at my address. The only similarity is that we have the same last name. If a debt collection company cant get ahold of who they need to then why are they calling every one in town with the same last name to try to find the person?  Someone needs to train these people on the FTC regulations.

This number called several times and left no messages when my voice mail pick up.  I finally picked up the phone and kept silent on the other end.  These freak just know to dial the phone, then either hang up on people or not saying anything.  How could mother earth be give birth such freak.  What joy bring them for doing such.

This Collection agency called me at home regarding a neighbor! I do not want that to ever happen again!

These people called me regarding a neighbor I do not even know..gave me their address and wanted me to get a hold of them or put a note on their door for this collection agency  ext 3695 ...this is absurd..

They keep on calling asking for a person who does not live here.

Collection Agency that randomly calls people with the same last name.  So if they are looking for Bob Smith, they call everyone in your town with the last name of Smith.   This violates FTC rules, report them to ftc.gov.

I just got a note on my door that read "Ryan Hampton said to call this number #1(800)457-2370; extension 3607" I am not sure which of my neighbors wrote this out, but I am seriously upset.  Is it legal to call neighbors and harrass them.  I just went through my caller ID and there is no number similar to this calling me.  I would like to know my legal recourse. This person is obviously harrassing my neighbors and me.

These people called my next door neighbor!  They came over to say they got a call from these people asking them to give this number to me!

Rude, they won't stop calling, they won't disclose who they are. They call on Saturday mornings. In my case they are calling and have repeatedly called for over 2 years for SOMEONE WHO NEVER, EVER LIVED HERE. I bought the place BRAND NEW. I'm the only one who's EVER lived here. I've called and asked them to stop calling TWICE now. My only other option is to unplug the phone or stop my service that I have had for nearly two decades!~

Got a phone call from a relative saying that "Vikki" from 858-577-3619 needed to speak with me but wouldn't identify what or whom she represented. She called from 800-457-2370. How they got my relative's number is beyond me as I've never used it as a reference and that number AND its unpublished and unlisted!
Turns out that this is GC Services who represents Home Depot and in turn Citibank Credit. I was transferred to a Matthew Jones (fake name for sure), at 858-577-2323. He continued to make all sorts of threats, then joked around, then made a 50% off offer. Standard practice for collectors (my friend used to be one).
In a nutshell, that's who this is.

This number calls every other day, does not state reason for call, they can't speak proper english and today they have called my neighbor's house looking for me.  i call the number and nobody answers the phone nor is there a recording/company name to understand who they are.
