These people have a mental problem. They keep calling me about paying $58.00. I even have a letter from ATT saying that I don't owe them anything and it was nice doing business with me and they hope in the future that I will do business again.

So I don't get it ATT UVerse says that I am paid up and don't owe them a thing but these a***ole that keep calling stating I do. So I started calling them back. I figured if they want to keep calling  me then I can do the same so Screw Southwest Credit.

Received six calls from this number in a four hour time frame.
All on my cell phone while it was turned off (I was at work) they never left a message.

There are several companies that for a fee, will provide you with all the informations on anyone including Phone numbers,( cell,landline), addresses, names of husband, siblings and previous addresses.
Nowdays every info.is available for a fee.

they called for someone who I never heard of. Impossible to get a real person when I call back

They call me at 8:06 a.m (It was a recording saying it was a collection agency) last Saturday Feb 28, 2009, asking for a person with my name regarding an ATT account, asked me for SSN that I refuse to give, finally appeared that the account they were calling about was closed several years ago. Monday March 2nd 8:49 a.m, same call but this time with different account with ATT,  a rude lady asked me : "why you don't go ahead and pay this debt? Dispite I was explaining to her that I don't undersatnd the reason of her call. What can I do to stop this calls?

To let you know Im on the do-not-call list, but how they got my husband's landline I don't know.  About SW Collections out of Plano - yea I asked who it was when I called back the 1800 # not knowing out of curiosity who it was it was ATT's collection agency - just behind owe but 300 and got a D. Kathy on the phone and told him my job search problems and with no running car he told me he wasnt stupid he was smart and heard all this before that I should nt have got a luxury.  Well, he said he'll just put a refuse on this acct and kept wanting to baligor me and accuse me that I need to be getting my story straight.  I never felt the utmost  personal disrespect out of someone I dont even know.  Can  collections agencies have that right to talk and treat you like some a peace of dirt.  I am a church going lady with a child at home and in school I dont deserve this.  I never got that treatment out of IRS and I owed them 800 dollars - gee I could name but Im very upset.  Well I called back after he hung up on me for going off at him and got a supervisor and told him about the guy how very unprofessional-personal they acted.  Also, I called ATT and talked to them and even they apologized for his behavior.  Well if anyone wants to chat they are welcome to but email me at cebra239202@yahoo.com  Hey You arent alone.

I hate this company, Southwest Credit. Its people keep calling me during the day when I sleep, since I work at night. They are looking for someone that I don't know. The people are very rude. Several people here that explained how rude they are with their verbal threats and assaults.

If these people call and harass you, you should take steps to prevent them from doing so. First, call them back at 972-246-5900 and ask for Jim Hurt (if they even bother to answer the phone). Jim Hurt is the CEO and you can yell at him about his rude employees. Second, connect the Better Business Bureau since Southwest Credit is a member and currently has 29 unresolved customer service complaints (BBB doesn't consider this a large number). They should leave you alone after doing all those things. I know I had to do every single one of those to get them from calling me about an unknown person. They don't care what you think about them, but they will care when the BBB strips their accreditation and the state and federal government makes them accountable for their actions.

I received a call from this number. The person, Jim Wilson, was very rude. The company is Southwest Credit or South West Credit--Jim refused to explain further. He has repeatedly called this number looking for someone who doesn't use the phone number. When I tried to explain this to him, he gets very belligerent and calls me a liar. When told that I don't want him to call here anymore, he accuses me of being the person that he is looking for.

If you are having trouble with this company, you can try to call them back but I doubt it will help. Their phone number is 1-800-462-3892 and Jim Wilson's extension is 2382. However, if you ask for a supervisor, Jim refuses to transfer you because you are not the person he is looking for (Yes, I am not the person they are looking for when I want a supervisor, but I am the person they are looking for during the rest of the conversation). If you do want to talk to a supervisor when call the company at 1-800-462-3892, do not mention the employees name who is harassing you until you have been transferred. If you do mention their name, the operator will transfer you to that person's phone and they answer it will an alias.

These are very rude people. I suggest people should call their number 1-800-462-3892 and talk to them. Remember, for every minute that you waste of their time, it's a minute that they cannot conduct business.

I received a call from Josh Howard at this number from Southwest Collection Agency saying there's an unpaid bill from a cellphone account I opened for my parents. My parents closed the account a month later and paid the final bill. Now he's got a collection report saying if I don't give him my credit card number by Friday to settle it up, it will go on my credit record. At&T says the final bill was paid and there's no record of it ever being sent to collection. When I called him back he said fine believe what you want but this will go on your credit record on Friday. He calls me every day to tell me it's still unresolved. What should I do? If I don't do anything can he do anything?

Steve is calling to collect a debt and he is violating federal law by leaving a misleading message on your phone. You need to save your messages when they call and you can go to ftc.gov to file a complaint with the federal trade commission. You can also file a complaint with your attorney general's office. By the time you get through with them, they will owe you money

Not only suspicious, but misleading which is a violation of federal law. They are calling to collect a debt and they are only supp to tell you who they are where they are calling from and the number to reach them back. They cannot in anyway leave other information on your phone or mislead you in anyway so that you will call them back or pay your debt. They cannot discuss your debt with anyone other than your spouse and in certain states they cant even talk to spouses without your consent.

I am a debt collector. You can send them a cease and desist. You can also send a letter of dispute telling them that you didn't open it and request that they provide proof of debt. They have to do that by law..When you cease comm make sure you tell them it is a fraud account and not to contact you by mail phone fax and not to call any relatives, neighbors, etc, as they will do that

I got call this no ....and when call them back they put me on hold for 7 min and very hard to be on hold because unbarable sourd during holding....they said like south west company....not why they are calling me ...

If your getting calls from this # its becuse you have a bill  that you didnt pay. And if they have all your personal information thats because it was use to open an account, or else you wouldnt be getting calls!!

try blocking the number via your preferences in your cell phone.

keep getting calls on my new TracFone from this number. tonight "Linda" extension 2278 called but I do not know when.  left a message for a different party (not me / not my name) with reference to "file number 24995650".  from the other postings it sounds too like it could be a credit check or credit collection agency.  I will call and tell them never to call again - let's hope that works!

I received a call from this number stating I owed $ to AT&T but I've never had an account with them.  The man's name was Alberto and he seemed to have all of my personal information which was concerning.  I put a fraud alert on my credit report through all three agencies just to be safe.

the man on the recording said his name was Jim Wilson and that I had 24 hours to call him back.  I don't call men no matter what their name is! According to the cell number look up this is a collection agency and I called them on Friday of last week.  Thank you cingular wireless for screwing up my credit history because you cant read the notes in your own computer system.........

I have just received 2 calls on my cell phone from the same number.  One saying it was looking for a edward maranato, and tho other for me.  This is obvious that they are a solicitor. Any Advice?

Got a call from the same number from a guy named Corey (Very rude).  The company collects money from past due fees from telecommunication companies.  If the fee is large then I would get a lawyer.

I get these calls every week. I dont know what to do as i wont owe the settlement they are talking about as it seems someone used my social to get cell phone and never paid the bill. I am getting very frustated and wanted to end these call for good. Should I see a lawyer to shut there worst practices.

Just got a call from 1-800-462-3893.  They left a brief message saying to call them back.  I did.  The company is Southwest Credit Systems.  They are a collection agency.

Someone named Nick Calderone called from this number saying he knew who I was and that we were doing business together.  Very suspicious!!

Ms Reynolds called me from this number saying her call was regarding a large settlement. No answer when I called back, and no recording.
