I believe I may know this man who called you. He works for CCB in IL. He has no concept of what it's like to have rough times financially because he has had EVERYTHING handed to him on a silver platter by his parents since the day he was born. Idk why he even bothers to work. He's a j*** off and a drug addict/manufacturer/salesman. Plus he's a giant do***ebag

Ccb is a bunch of crooks. The owner is Ron Krech. He makes Scrouge look like a Nobel peace award winner. The GMs are Jeff Brown and Jeff Bayless. There is some other lady Donna Ragsdale that owns it too. Brown is the biggest do***e bag I have ever encountered. He likes to scream and yell at employees to "motivate" them but doesn't know his a** from a hole in the ground. Bayless claims to "crunch numbers" but again doesn't know anything. The business is going under soon because of the stupidity of the higher ups. They have had several layoffs and they might have 75 employees now. Ccb gets kick backs from the state by hiring ex cons. As a result they could care less about law abiding employees because they don't bring them any extra money. I know several people that made ccb millions of dollars and these dumbasses let those people walk as opposed to just paying more than minimum wage. They think that the money will flow in regardless of who is there. That is why the doors will soon shut. As far as the check updating--that is true. They are in bed with INB (Illinois National Bank). iNB fronts the money and ccb produces false reports to the clients. For instance if you postdated a check for July 17th 2012 and let's say Capital One wants a report on June 30th 2012 CCB will update your check on their system to show that the check was ran through and that the money was there. If you were to call and say "hey that money isn't going to be there" we were trained to tell you, " tough luck put the funds in there or it will bounce". Ccb got sued for this several times. Jeff Brown would scream and yell that it was our fault when in fact we were following Ccb protocol. Among other things is the unprofessional atmosphere there, there were verbal confrontations, people smoking weed and doing drugs, drinking, having sex in the parking lot, people attacking people with knives, mangers having sexual relations with numerous employees, and treat everyone one like crap even management, people steal accounts and credit cards, and management will give your hard earned work to whoever is blowing them at the current time or whoever they are buddies with. This place was built by crooks to steal your and the clients money. Everyone is based off commission and will fleece you for top dollar. Make sure you know that going in. That wojic guy is a douche too. Outside of that there are a handful of people that are legitimate but are held down by the environment. God bless them. Like I said earlier, the place is on the verge of bankruptcy and I would be extremely cautious of entering in any business transactions with this horrible company. In fact I would just mail them a C&D letter (cease and desist) letter saying to not call you because they cannot sue you no matter what they lie and tell you. They have no right except for medical bills--anything else---if you talk to a collector ask for a manager and tell them to lick your balls!!! (or overies) and that you will not pay them a dollar. Krech used to work at Baskin Robbins and married into the CEO of the company! Lol and now it is in bankruptcy--good work dummy! Now where are all the crooks going to work? No one in Springfield has a positive thing to say about that place and I worked with about a 1000 people over 5 years---no one and I mean no one has ever said a positive thing about that sh@thole--what a waste of a company

Yes its true they are rude like you attacked them or stole from them personally. They don't seem to understand that things happen in life that are out of our control. Bad Economy =Tough times.

Again, I'll bet most of these debt collectors are in dyer straights themselves/  Lets have a good look at their credit report!

I paid my bills for many years, then my husbands business slowed down fifty percent. Two years ago we had a house fire and couldn't rent our apartment, so we weren't getting rent for about six months. My son and I both went to the hospital and of course the bills piled on.  Things do happen and you do what you can to get by on a little.  Some people don't have issues like these. They don't understand.

Debt Collector
I just got off the phone with a Brian Marts at this number. This man was the rudest person. He asked when I could make a payment. I told him in two days when I get paid. He asked how much I get paid per hour, why I couldn't make a payment for the last five months, and how long have I get been working, was I married and is my mortgage paid up. He was asking questions of which are none of his business. I hung up the phone. I will report him if he calls again and speaks in that manor.  You know,  things have been tough all over the country.  People could be more sensitive and patient.

They call and get my voicemail everyday because they call my place of business and non-business related calls automatically go to voicemail.  The number comes up as 000-000-0000 and they won't state their business.  Person continues to say if you are *** please continue to listen.  But if the voicemail picks up do they not know that this is being recorded and they are not speaking to a live person.  I don't owe anyone, so until I do, they will continue to get my voicemail without a return call.

My caller ID showed 000-000-0000, but when I answered they asked for my tenant and gave me the 800# with an extension number for her to  call back. I will not give her the phone number because quite frankly, I am more concerned that they pay their rent to me so I can pay my mortgage to my creditor. I am retired and disabled, I'd like to be paid first and what they owe to others is not my concern just as what I owe is not theirs.  When I tried to restrict that false phone number on my land line service it would not allow me to do so as it said it didn't exist. Too bad such steps have to be taken, but I've had to evade collectors in the past just so I could feed my family and keep the roof over our heads.......and yes, the majority of what I owed was for groceries, medical expenses and necessities. We lived poorly because I made very little, but when companies downsize and these people are used to making big wages, what are they to do, they have to feed and take care of their families and put the credit card bills aside for later payment....stress is a killer and I still relive the nightmares of the past.

Effecting their creditx?  I guess you don't have to be able to spell to be a debt collector.

I am a bankruptcy paralegal and dealing with debt collectors is a pain in the rear.  You will lie, threaten, call neighbors, call relatives and (oh yes) call the debtors at work....anything you can to get that commission.

I just had to call one of your lovely colleagues and tell him to stop calling our client at all and certainly stop the calls to her job.  I guess debt collection is a perfect job for angry, nasty, hateful people.  How awful to have to do that to people all day long.

Got a call from these folks and the caller asks for Debra,. I asked Who? She repeated it and I told her she was at work. She then immediately starts rattling off an 800 # to call her back. She then asks if she can reach Debra by mail, at some address I've never heard of. I told her "no". She then asks "Are you her Spouse"? I am. "Does her SSN end in XXXX?" No, not even close.

"Oh, never mind, tell her to disregard this call".

Collection agencies and thier ilk are pariha. They provide no meaningful service to society.

Well, Chris I am sorry that happened, but just so you know we are under very strict laws that govern everything we do. And maybe just maybe your boss was asking questions that WE CANNOT answer. Most people dont like the fact that we cant answer questions we cant even give out our Co. Name and become very rude to us. Maybe if you call, you can figure it all out.
Thank you Peter we do try. We "collectors" have a bad rep. but we aren't bad people, just people who have to go to work, pay bills, take care of everything at home. We Truley Have To Chase the Almighty Dollar.

This also is a collection agency.  But they flat refused to give me the name of their company.  But were more than happy to give me their name, number, and extention. They also aren't getting the message that I have no contact with my ex.  If they call again tomorrow I am going to insist on their company name and to speak to a supervisor.  Seeing as they have my number fair is fair.

u r full of s***, yesterday a colletion company called and after a long heated conversation, I got the name of the company, the person calling, and the person they were looking for.  I am not that person, never heard of him, have had my phone number for over ten years, it is on a do not call list.  They have repeadly been told this is a place of business and not to call again. They agreed to remove my number from their calling list, only after I told them have had already filed a complaint with the FTC & FCC.  And guess what the a** call again today.  I get 5 to 6 calls a week from this enity, looking for the same person (Daivd Collins).  Be assured I am just getting started, with the pay back.  Filling complaints with BBB of my state and both of theirs, Filed complains with the attorney general in all three states, contacted the State Bar Association in all three states and filling complaints.  These people have pissed of the wrong guy.

They called my parents looking for me, I dont live there. I have been unemployed for a while now and have fallen back on a few debts. But it shouldnt give them the right to call anyone's house but mine. I have the same cell phone number Ive had for years. They can send mail or an email. All the credit cards or companies i pay money to have my info. I called the number to see who the company was and they wouldnt tell me. He gave me an attitude so I swore at him and told him he can lose his attitude lol... i think he was just going to hang up and I could care less but I hung up first. So its ok for them to call any random number because it might be a relative? I dont know. I mean I wont lie, I dont answer the phone alot because what am I going to do, tell them i dont have a job and cant pay them and then what? Ive been treated like crap and called a loser before by some of these companies. I went to college have 2 associates degrees, no im not using proper english and sentences and capitalization in this, anyway.... Stuff happen to people that we cant control and I would assume they as a business know this. Ive always done back and paid what I owed, settled or not. But it doesnt help to get call after call. We know we owe it, and there is nothing we can do. But if you cant tell me who you are then sorry I wont talk to you. If you cant leave a message either I dont know why you bother calling....but dont involve another party, If your company name is confidential then my personal and private money matters are too, I dont need my family involved

Unfortunately, I lost my teaching position last year due to a RIF and haven't found another one yet.  We are paid less than it costs to pay a year for a prisoner in jail.  We are considered low income in the eyes of banks and lenders.  There's nothing some people can do at this day.  Unemployment makes it harder on us teachers and delay our check over the union, blue collar workers like my husband.  My perfect credit is now pond scum.  It sucks but there's nothing I can do.  A new career won't work at 40 years old and over $40K in college loans coming in with a family to feed and to survive???
