I had money taken from my account as well and the phone number 800-477-9189.  I called several times and got a busy signal or the line just disconnected.  I kept calling and I finally got through.  At first they told me they could not find my account.  When I informed them that they didn't have a problem finding my account to take out the funds and that my next step was legal action, the representative was able to locate the account.  This withdrawal has been taken from my account several times and they asked me to give them every date it was taken.  That made no since to me since once they had the account, they should have records when they took the funds.  They closed they account but did not want to return my money.  Fortunately, I have prepaid legal services through my employer and I intend to get my money back through that avenue.  They say if you applied for a payday loan that somewhere in the acceptance of the loan you signed and agreed to have the ID Lock Theft take the monthly fee, if that's the case the writing had to be so small you needed more than zoom on the computer to see it.

I noticed a bogus check in my account that shows $29.99 taken out of my account from Lock ID Theft EMS and I am trying to call them but I keep getting a busy signal.

I received debits from my checking account for $28.95 for three months from these individuals before I caught on. Called the phone # on the check 800-477-9189, Lock Id Theft EMS, and was told I authorized this on February 23, 2009. I was not in town on that day! After dealing with someone who wanted to tell me it was my authorization, I asked for a supervisor. Again, I got no where and they actually asked me to fax my banking information to them to prove what I was saying! I called my bank and they said to fill out an affidavit saying I didn't give authorization and they would take care of it from there, including NSF fees, OD fees, etc. I am reporting this to the FCC as fraud/cyberfraud. I recommend you all do the same to shut these people down!

I knew this would happen, I told my husband that applying for cash loans online would result in this. It has happened before to us. Now I am short 29.99 dollars from these theives. I will no longer give my info online for paydayloans.

I just came from my credit union and they gave me the money back, I printed off this website page and showed them what was going on, and then i printed the check off that this company made in my name and took it with me.  I even opened up a new account and not more then 15 mins after I left the bank my $29.99 was back in my account. I even called the Lock ID and they said they did not have me in the system, but when i told them I had my  lawyer on the ohter line they found me, they canceled me out of the system and i got any authorization # and name of the person i called, They said my money would be in my account by Friday 4-17-09.. You need to print off your account statment and the electronic check if you can, then print out this webpage and go to your bank and ask for a manager, electronic check does not have your signature, and if you check the check number it does not even match your account, and check to see if the name, address and all informtion match, mine did not.  Good luck and keep bothering everyone until they give you your money back..

So I call the Lock ID place this morning. They assured me that there would be a refund of the money coming to me in 10-14 days. I did not believe that. I called my bank and they said they could not do anything for me because it was from a payday loan that I applied for online. She said that they will try to get me to keep the account open so that they can rip me off even further. I am unemployed just like the rest of the country. I can't afford this. The bank said that I need to close the account and start over. This sucks

I just checked my bank account today and noticed a debt for $29.99 from Lock ID Theft EMS, I have no clue who they are, I did get a copy of the check they did and it has all my information on it, routing #, acct #, my name, address and phone number, they put on the signature line that it was authorized by customer and NO signature required.. Iam taking this to my bank and then getting with my lawyer. I just can't believe that bank would alow this when the check was not signed by me, and who types checks anyway??
This will be the last and only time they take from my account..

I have had 2 electronic withdrawals from my checking account by lock
id theft ems.  I called them the first time. they were to delete my name from their system.  They promised me that they would.  They did not and took out a second payment of $29.99, which overdrew my account costing a NSF check fee of $35.00.  I called them a secong time.  They said that they would not refund the NSF charge to me.

On March 17th they told us they would put our # back into our account and haven't yet!!

I too have now found 3 computer generated checks on my account for $28.95 each from this company.  I have tried to contact them and I have had no luck. I put a stop payment on these checks at my bank and turned them in for fraud.  Hopefully this will take care of it.

we notcied the same thing on our account we called there 800 # and are fighting w/ them now for the money.. If u applied for a payday loan its there sercret partner and they charge you even though u payday loan u autherized this company as well to take money out of your accounts!

I also had the same company Lock ID theft take 29.99 out of my checking also....I called them the next day and had words and behold they are putting the money back into my account!! I'm not someone who you want to mess with. I retain a attorney for 3000.00 and I get my moneys worth when it comes to a lawsuit even over 29.99!

Do not recall getting a call from this company but they took out $29.95 and I assure you that it was NOT authorized!
