Received phone call, the answering machine caught it.
Caller ID showed [UNAVAILABLE]...Very excited young lady ID'd herself as Amy Watts...
Recording said, '...This is Amy Watts/Claims Director from the PRIUS (spelling?) Claims Center. You are a WINNER !! It would be in your best interest to call because you have won a Dodge Durango. Then, press 1 to speak to...Else, press 9 to be removed from our Calling List....blah, blah, blah...

R-E-P-O-R-T THEM. Your computer can help you find out how to do that.

---> Annie E-joculated (see http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=E-joculation ), "My number is also on the national 'do not call' registry but a fat lot of good it does, lol" <---
That's odd. My home is on the national Do Not Burglarize directory and I've *never* been robbed.

The Do Not Call List is available in case you want to report these people, prove they are calling against your will, and you can sue to collect money from them. I am so tired of people expecting the list to just automatically stop the calls.

Got the same message from the same number and the same Amy name. Knew better than to call them back, so googled their 800 number and found this very informative site! Thanks to all who posted, saved me a hassle!

I think they key off of legit give-aways we may have entered
Amy Watts, 'it's in your best interest to call' Hah!

You are right. They are not belong to this country. Some Indian people from India and they want your Credit card number to stell your money.

This is another sleazy scam, but since these people are obviously hard-up for any job, I sure hope somebody is paying them, but I sure wouldn't count on that either.
Did you notice the new Durango is 1 of the "top prizes" but they didn't tell you the other top prizes range from anything with a value of 2 cents or more pennies if you won anything big -lol.
The best way to get your sweet revenge with these people (if you have the urge) is to play along with their game and agree to schedule an appointment (where the real sales pitch scam takes place) with them, Beyond any basic information, of course don't provide them with any credit card info or any information you wouldn't provide to any stranger, much less a crook. Just tell them you'll wait until you meet in person,
Let them schedule their appointments, staffing, etc. and just don't show up. If they call back to fuss about the missed appointment, just explain you changed your mind but couldn't find their phone number among your trash where it belonged.
Along the way, before your appointment, they will be very excited and pumped up about a potential sale to another sucker and may call you in advance to confirm you are still going to keep the appointment, but play along and just tell them yes, yes, yes and how excited you are to find out what prize you've won!
It's your turn to waste their time!!!

I've been receiving messages from them too, for well over a month now, and this is after speaking with them and asking them to add me to their 'do not call' list! My number is also on the national 'do not call' registry but a fat lot of good it does, lol, sure wish I knew how to get these prize claim scammers to stop burning up my answering machine :(

Yep. Just received the call and message. I am tempted to call back and have my 8-year-old talk to them. FIgure we can make a game out of it. How long can you keep the man on the phone by talking about Star Wars? or Pokemon? or Beyblades? Take your pick...

Same as the others, I won a Dodge Durango but I have to sit through some kind of sales pitch then I "have a chance to win" a Dodge or "other great prizes". Same BS scam.
Legz4Daze 2013-05-31 20:10:33 Unknown
Same here except I got the cal from a Mr Russell at 866-288-2780.
Randolph 2013-05-31 20:05:38 Unknown
Thanks for sitting through it! I figure it HAD to be a scam, but it's nice seeing some actual details.

Got the call too and spoke with the person. The Durango is the hook. Then they tell you that's 1 of 4 possible prizes. You have to go sit through some 90 minute sales pitch from a travel company before you get your scratch off ticket to see which prize you win. I'm guessing there won't be any Durago winners. They were very misleading about this. I only sat through the call so I could inform others. Don't fall for it. It's just the typical sales pitch scam that's been around for years, but these guys don't have the decency to be honest about what they are doing.
Jo Momma 2013-05-30 19:18:35 Unknown
Wow - They must have a lot of money to give us each a new Dodge Durango - maybe the Matchbox Car company is overstocked with those models that they are giving each adult in the USA a free truck !!! God Bless them, one and all !!!
Terri 2013-05-30 15:34:02 Unknown
Hey I won too
Pat 2013-05-30 14:56:13 Unknown
They keep calling saying that I have definitely won a prize and I know it has got to be a scam. because I don't recollect entering any such contest or whatever. I am sick of getting all of these stupid calls. Do Not Call List is an absolute joke!!!!
Dave 2013-05-30 12:38:57 Telemarketer
Called to inform us that we "definitely" won a Dodge Durango, from some vague drawing. Never entered, just another scam.
Jean 2013-05-30 04:17:40 Unknown
They say it would be in my best interest to call because I have won a Dodge Durango.
butch 2013-05-30 01:23:55 Unknown
