Received a call from this number today at 10:45 AM; let it go to voicemail. It was a recording of my local Allstate agent wishing me and my family a happy and safe Hallowe'en and reminding me that Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 6 (no, I'm not making this up).... and, of course, to call him if there's anything I want to talk about. I suspect these robocalls go out to Allstate customers who haven't responded to upsell/marketing hype in a sufficiently long time.
Fortunately, as noted by others, by simply calling the number back and hitting 2, then 1 to confirm, you can purportedly avoid future robocalls from Allstate. We'll see.

I am an Allstate customer. I received this call while I was at work and I let it go to voicemail. It was my insurance agent thanking me for my business and assuring that they are always available should I have any questions or concerns regarding my policy. The woman who left the message left me a different number to contact them if I should need to.

I'm sorry, I meant CUSTOMER appreciation, not EMPLOYEE and I guess it was a telemarketer call, not really a reminder. My agent-who is generally a good guy wastes a lot of my time with these calls.
I hate Allstate and one of these days I'll switch.
