I would like to go back to law school, but I am a white american, born in this country and I am on the bottom end of the selection process due to all the liberal crap in this country, entitlements, etc.  Also, my health insurance just went up another $300 a month thanks to Obamacare so my discretionary spending is being redistributed to all the a***oles that try and scam me for money everyday!

This company is using my company?s phone number illegally, after you have given them your information and you receive a charge my 1-866 number will show up on your bank statement! The address works out to a PO box in a UPS store.

Received a phone call in reference to a summons and court document case number.  The message referenced me and my son.  Never had anything with my son.  Haven't heard them since.

I also received the call and the person stated that once i pay the debt it will be updated on my credit report as paid for the card.  pulled my credit report and the card in question isn't even listed.  Yes, these people are scam artists.

Got this call today ...need to deliver papers about a loss, gave case # and this number to call back.  It was for my son who does not even live with us.  Called son, and he said he as also been called, even at his work, which happens to be the FAA and when informed it was a government office and they could not be calling there, they immediately hung up.  Son advised, this is a total scam.  Want you to give your address or SSN  or anything for them to get more information to steal credit information or whatever from you.  Son has advised AG & FBI...this # is already in their files along with hundreds of different ones and different company names.  Hang up on them!  Do not call back.

Well noone showed up last friday as they said it would happen and I have gotten no more calls from them so if they call again I will refer this to the Attorney General in my state as a scam and scare tatic by a debt collector and have them prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

these people called me also and they were so rude and pushy i couldntr believe it...i ended up hanging up on them due to there rudeness. ihave nothing currently in collections so dont know what i could be summonsed to court for...and also the girl thats on my case i have never heard of???? please somebody let me know what this call was about if you know...thank you.....

THIS IS A SCAM. I use to get calls saying the same thing. I looked up my record here in town at our local court house and there is NO suit against me. I even went as far as to call the police. The gentleman from this company said that I would be in jail by Christmas time, etc. The police said not to worry and if someone showed up to serve me papers to call them and they would deal with him.

A guy by the name of RICK DAVIS said he was from HEF Company and that he was calling concerning a credit card I had opened up in 2008. I didn't live in Ohio at that time and he said that this is where this claim is coming from. Sounds a little weird to me.

I got a call on Monday Oct 3 from 855-309-0252 and they said they were a process server ready to serve me papers at my residence for a credit card debt. I never heard of any credit card company doing that. They said i will have to appear in court.They said they will have a court official with himself ready to evaluate any property I may own to satisfy this order. Well they supposed to be here today between 4 pm-12 noon. So far noone has come and i got no further calls from them since Monday. I hope it is a scam and that they don't show up I will keep you all advised.

When you call the number 855-309-0252 the person answering the phone will claim that it is a litigation law firm.  However, the tactics used to get someone to return this call are illegal under federal legislation so it is highly doubtful that this is a legitimate law firm!!!!  DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS TELEPHONE NUMBER NOR GIVE THEM ANY IDENTIFYING DATA ABOUT YOURSELF.  THEY ARE MOST LIKELY A COLLECTION AGENCY.  THE MAJORITY OF CALLS THEY MAKE ARE TO PERSONS WHOM CAN BE FOUND AS ASSOCIATED WITH ANYONE OWING A DEBT TO A BANK OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

Sheri they gave me also what appeared to be a court docket number but I agree I think it is phony and I will wait and see if they really show up on Friday or not! I will have my attorney here with me just in case some a***ole does try to serve me papers. Also I have a friend who is a Deputy Sheriff here and he said it is a scare tatic to get you to pay a debt thats all and he thinks noone will really show up and if they do he said to call the sheriff and have them arrested for treaspassing.

I too got a call yesterday from 855-309-0252 saying they will be at my home on friday between 4-12pm to serve me papers to appear in court. If I didn't appear they can attach or even appraise any property I may own to satisfy this debt from a CC company. I never heard of any CC company ever doing such a thing and wonder if they will really show up?

I just got a call from a number saying private, and was told my husband and i was going to be served a court summon, at our address and we need to call this number 855-309-0252,they did not say who they were who they represented, gave a case number and said we need to call, these people need to be stopped they are bresking every FDCPA rule.

This lady called me me and would not let me have the supervisor or give me an address. She wanted credit card info over the phone and wouldn't drop it and was threatening me.

I received a phone call on my cell and they are telling me that I am being summons and that somebody will be coming to my home to serve me. To my knowledge I don't have any cases pending on me. On top of that the way the case number is is not the way that case numbers are made here in Columbus. What the heck is going on????

REceived phone call from 8553090252 stating that I was being summoned to court. They call Mr Mothers phone, and my brother's. I dont know where they got their numbers but When I called back and asked if they were familiar with the FDCPA, the person on the phone call  me a black dumb moth******er  I am going to contact my phone company to see what I can do legally about them calling me.

The money is there, they just don?t want to hand it over for past mistakes. They would rather spend it on partying and fun stuff. Like I said, I don?t understand this at all.

Apparently it?s not just my family. I learned about another friend of a friend who has a similar situation. They have debt with collections agencies but they just ignore and avoid them so they don?t have to pay.

I suppose avoiding the debt collectors works because neither has paid anything for quite a while and has no plans to do so.

They both have ruined their credit but neither seems to care. My sibling doesn?t understand credit will be important down the road for obtaining cars and housing and such things adults have to secure.

Do some people just not understand how that works?

I?m at a loss for what I?ve heard about people avoiding debt collectors. I didn?t know normal people who have jobs and money did this. I?m so disappointed in the lack of responsibility of people I know.

I?ve never fallen behind on my debt payments. I?ve only once had a late payment and that only happened before I paid everything online and it wasn?t my fault. But now that I?ve got my system in place I?m completely set and will never miss a payment. I?ll never send in a late payment.

I suppose it?s because I?m so obsessed with making all my payments and making them on time that I completely don?t understand people who are the opposite.

I definitely don?t understand people who avoid debt collectors.

I?m not talking about people who avoid debt collection agencies calls because they just don?t have money. If you are out of work and trying to decide between feeding your family and making a payment to debt collections then you should choose to feed your family. But I don?t understand these people who have jobs and have money but refuse to pay for their debts.

I learned this week that one of my siblings has over $2,000 in old credit card debt that is in collections. They send letters and call offering to settle. They ask for any kind of payment. And it just gets ignored by my sibling. I don?t understand this AT ALL. I received a call from this number to notify me of my siblings debt and how to get it all resolved.
