They just called us, national yellow pages stating we signed an agreement with them, which is a lie.  She said she would see us in Hell.  These people are evil and sick.  Where is the FTC?  Where is Obama?  

This is a follow-up of my original 3/14/13 & 2/10/13.

This was done with me too.  In this case as of Feb 2013, this number is linked to Dynamic Ad Corp (DBA: Yellow National Directory) and the collection agent was Richard Walker.

I've reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, Attorney General in my state, National Fraud Center. I've even got a fake W-9 tax form which I forwarded to the IRS (I'm sure they are not reporting their take from these schemes) and finally to put icing on the cake, I contact the FL Department of Revenue and sent them the W-9. I've verified that this business is not listed in the FL Department of State and the FEIN on the W-9 is fake.

Dynamic Ad Corp and National Yellow Directory (NYD) is NOT listed under the Florida Department of State and if they give anyone an W-9 tax form so you can "write off your advertising expense", the Federal Employers Identification Number (FEIN) is fake and immediately report this to the IRS since I seriously doubt this outfit pays taxes on the monies they collect.  NYD will only conduct business transactions by telephone and fax.  They avoid the US mail or paper check as much as possible and they never use e-mail.

If anyone else runs into this situation (as much as it may not help right away), do report them at least to the FTC and BBB.  Other resources include: your state, province or county attorney general, National Fraud Center, IRS and Florida Department of Revenue.  Gather all faxes and paperwork received from NYD, make multiple copies and mail and/or scan/e-mail to these credit protection groups.  Obviously, the most important thing is if NYD continues to call, ask for a supervisor and NEVER give out financial or personal information.  

If anyone actually receives a summons to appear in a Florida court, go to http://www.flcourts.org/ or call (850) 922-5081 for assistance and verify the case is legit.

FINALLY SOME LIGHT....On 5/2/2013, I received a Consumer Affidavit from the Florida Office of Attorney General, Consumer Protection Division to which I completed.  They have filed an investigation on this.  If anyone who is interested, here is the contact information for you to file:

I do need to disclose that as of 9/18/13, I have NOT seen an active case listed for either Dynamic Ad Corp or Yellow National Directory.   Don't be discouraged by this, just keep filing those complaints.

Have been receiving calls from Nathan Cost.  Now today have received several plus Notice Before Legal Action from Richard Walker .   Said it will affect my credit for 7 yrs!  Rude & threatening!!! I hung up & received three e-mails for legal action.

Terrible, rude, scam.  I'm a honest, hard working, tax paying business woman.  I pay my bills like all of you & we do NOT have to deal with this kind of abuse.

We have Nathan Cost calling us.  His name is all over the web with this scam, but he swears, "I'm just a law student".   I at first, knowing it was a scam gave him a bogus credit card number, and when he called back telling me it was declined, I said,"Hmmm, what do you think that means?", and he said, "there is something wrong with the credit card number", and I said,"oh, you mean like there's something wrong with this invoice?  Like, it's not real either?"  He got all mad, and swore he was just doing his job and would have to send us to collections.  He played the tape of our old office manager who hasn't worked here in over a year and a half with no date or amount on the tape.  When I brought this to his attention, he sputtered, and when I asked him why his name was all over the internet with this scam he said that you can never make all customers happy.  Finally I told him to send this to his collections people and sue me if he feels he must and he hung up on me mid-sentence!  I feel vindicated! Nathan your a scammer and  a con artist and a big sleezy liar...

I googled the mailing address to see what or where it was. I researched them on BBB for FL and filed a complaint there.
Yellow National Directory is own by this company. There has been 364 complaints against this company by consumers since Dec. 2012. I have filed a complaint with FL BBB and now will do with BBB.org.. They decided since faxes me is blocked, calling me is blocked that they would mail me the bill. This is the biggest scammer on the web!!

My company got calls saying we had placed National Yellow Book advertising and were now overdue to pay ($499.00 X 2) for the past two years; they even had a recording (as proof they said they would use in court) of us approving the amount in question. Although the recording they played over the phone was legitimate, it was a confirmation recording from when we approved LOCAL ONLY Yellow book advertising (PRINTED IN A BOOK) several years ago; I suspect in some way they have gotten a hold of some old Local Yellow Book (Yellow Pages) customers recordings. My firm never placed or approved any types of On-Line (Internet) advertising. BEWARE THE SCAM !!!

Any calls from "yellow National directory" scam scam scam.  We too have received calls from Robert Walker claiming Para Legal Dept.  It must be hard to run such a large company with their own para legal dept, customer service, accounting etc since their address of 1111 Lincoln Road Miami Fl is actually a PARKING GARAGE.  When I confronted Robert Walker with his scam of claiming we had a verbal contract with them  that was spliced with "yes" answers.  When I told him to quit calling us that this was a scam his whole attitude changed and he became verbally abusive.  We already reported this company to our state attorney and will take necessary steps to ensure they won't continue scamming other businesses.

Well,  I had a run  in  with  this Stacey  West today. She's pretty snotty  and persistent on trying to  get my hard earned money...again. I'm so upset with these people. We fell for their scam a few years ago and I couldn't believe they were trying it again. I'm happy to  know that this is a scam and that I didn't cave and pay her. It's amazing that they had no record of me cancelling with them back then, only my recording of agreement which I know is fake and altered.  These people are sick.  How do they even sleep at night?

Since I been using a unknown number blocker on my phone I do not answer any calls that come up unknown or private. They are using a computer to call from so there is no real number to track.  Got a fax and a call from Richard Walker pre legal department . 1-800-493-0487 which the call went to voice mail. They are now saying in the fax that is a notice before legal action. The reason why they can't contact me is I am blocking all known numbers that they use. Number they have on the fax is 786-358-6612 which is going to also be blocked now. If you are a real company then you should be using a number# that comes up with your business name. I knew the minute I heard his name that it was them at it again.

I had the same company call me and we did not order this.

Received a call from a Howard Stevens from Yellow National Directory today.  He has been faxing us bills  from the "prelegal" department for months.  He played a recording from 2 years ago of my front desk lady verifying our address.  Nowhere in that recording does she authorize us to advertise with them and the recording does also sound spliced. We do not even advertise with any yellow pages let alone a national one which would not be helpful for our local health care business!!  This appears to be a big scam and I plan to report to the BBB.  I do not know why these people have not been arrested!  A Stacey West was the first person who sent us the invoice.

This exact same thing happened to us. They call saying they need to update your name in t he Yellow Pages and then ask  you  who they are talking too. When you  say  your  name, they record it, and splice it into  their  recordings to make it sound like you  approved their stuff. I am not going to pay this. They are a huge scam. I don't know how these people sleep  at night.

Received 4 calls in 3 days from "Richard Walker" collecting debt owed to  "Yellow National Directory".
He stated that I owed $872 dollar, but would clear the debt for $499 if I paid today!!  Told him off and he called back begging me to not "let your credit go bad"
Verrry pushy and demanding payment.
We use Yellow Book and so thought they may have wrong phone number.  So glad to see their name on the web and on the Fraud List.  I will call the Oregon Justice Dept. and report a new phone number for them.

just talked with nathan from yellow national directory said i did bussiness with them in past so they want me to clear up my bill. i authorized june 2012 for 699.00 and now 200.00 interest.  i let him know i knew i hadn't okayed that last year and they used my previous voice recording he got a little upset and said we have 2 million satisfied customers,  i also let him know his numbers he gives are listed as spam they will not get 1 dime out of me

Nathan Cost  said we ordered a web page ad. We did not! What they did was asked an unsuspecting employee a few questions and said she ordered it. The person (looser) who called me was from the "pre legal" department his name was Nathan Cost complete liar and dick. Don't fall for it!

Got the same call and the same fax from the same guy.  I'm going to call him back with a VISA number that is 2 digits off.  When he tells me it didn't go through, I'll reply, "huh, imagine that".

Howard Stevens has been calling me for the last few weeks too.  I'll report him to the BBB and FTC as everyone on this VERY helpful message board has been suggesting (seriously, thanks so much), but is that really all I can do to try and stop the harassment?  Seems like it'll take a while to process these complaints...
