I keep getting calls from this number and then when I pick up, it goes into a busy signal.

What can I do to get these idiots to stop calling me?  They say,"If this person is not you, erase this message."  And it's NOT FOR ME.  I never heard of the person they're dunning.  So stop calling me.

I just called this # back and is about an old dish network bill from years ago.

I got a call from this number today.  Didn't answer.  Wouldn't be surprised if it's a collection agency.  Although we have no overdue debt, We have gotten a ton of collection agency calls about the debts of a relative who has never lived here but who used our phone number years ago. You tell one company not to call and I think they just transfer it to another number.  I have read that this is a practice to try to get the innocent party to pay to stop the harassing calls.  Caller ID helps.

The Company with this Phone number is ERC. (Not sure who they are) If you call to have your number removed , They send you right to a collection person. You can't just removed your name from there list.
I have never had Comcast service. I have no outstanding bills at this time. Not sure if this is some kind of a scam?

Got a call from them today.  They didn't much of a message except to say to call them back to "address this business matter".

Got a computerized call from this number claiming it was a collection agency. Said I should call a number to avoid further action.  I don't have any debts that I am aware of.

The caller ID only had this number in it. The beginning of the message was cut off probably because the computer on their side started before he outgoing message had completed. They called me claiming they were trying to collect a debt for Comcast.  Do not believe them, I called comcast and they had no record of the account number the so called debt collector gave me and said that I dont owe them anything.

a collection company for comcast tv - comcast has sent its services out to others and will collect on $ 5.00 or more!  dont get any product from comcast - we found they are rated the worst in sustomer service and if  you cant settle with them they collect..  We took them to court and won but we still have been getting calls.

I called the number back and they had an option to press one to remove your number, guess I'll see if it works, I think I've gotten two calls from them over the past week or so.

Yeah big time scam like Amp say's, don't give them anything.  They said I have a Comcast debt, but I have automatic payment with my  cable company.  Whoops you lied.  Just hang up!  One of them actually told my wife that 'I couldn't reach her, but said that it was ok to provide them my SSN'.  These guys are real losers.

Been getting automated voicemails and ignoring.  Just call and recording asks if you want to report a wrong number (press 1) and gives you an option to enter the phone number you want to have removed from their system, takes 24 hours!

The number is %100 scam fake collector agency. A few years back they claimed to be a dish network collection agency, which they where not, Dish network got wind of it and those scammers were forced to shut down by the FTC. This is the same number same scam/illegal practice network, DO NOT give them anything. If you're in doubt about a debt check your credit report, it's free once per year. These homos will never go away short of ending their life permanently with a bullet, an explosion, or decapitating their heads from their bodies. They'll just rename their scam company but still be dumb enough to use the same phone number.

I'm the same Lee who posted on 2 Dec 2010. After receiving six more calls I changed my mind and decided to call them back. I made the decision based on some here who were called on their number but for someone else's name, looking at it from that angle.

My message was from Enhanced Recovery Corp. (found that out via the website given on the answering message, www.payerc.com) and my call was answered quickly. The man who spoke with me was very polite, asked me if I was (name on account) and I said no. (I think the fact that I was a different sex than the name given to me might have given it away!)  When asked, I also stated that I didn't know that person either. What I do know is that my information (i.e., phone number) came up for them right away and I didn't have to give any other information like my own name, address, etc.

The man at ERC said that it was probably someone who had the number before I did. He will take my number out of the call rotation and it will be 24-48 hours until that "cycles through the system." I think I spent two minutes tops on the phone, the process was very fast.

We'll see what happens. But I hope this is the end of this.

Have gotten three calls from 800-501-7539 in the last week regarding "unpaid debt", which I've never done in my life. Haven't called back and don't intend to. If something else happens, I'll come back to this site and update information. But like others I pay for each minute of calls, and am also in the process of looking for a job, and this makes me mad. I guess I'll just have to pay for voice messages for a while and screen my calls.

I just registered with the Do Not Call Registry a week or so ago and got the first debt call the day after Thanksgiving. I'll wait and see if these calls stop by the end of December, which is when the registry kicks in, IIRC.

they called me on my cell phone. when i answered there was no reply. i waited and still silence. I am sorry but i pay for my minutes i dont have time to waste them on silent calls.

Yeah it's a scam I tried dish scam work and their service sucked every time it rained I lost single
I asked for a refund of my money because the service was not as discribed I wrote to the attorney general and the FTC I still want my dam refund.

they tell us to use www.donotcall.gov and u have to put in ur phone number to subscribe... i think its a waste of time. dont ever call back any number. i just had my number changed cause the last spam b4 this was a resume verification and im sure i screwed myself up.. just dont answer or call it back. if u get a number u dont recognize, look it up online first.

i just had my number changed YESTERDAY cause i had like 5-6 spam calls in the last couple months, one probably ruining my job app process. wtf??? we are not suppose to have this BS... and the do not call list thing seems to be a joke. leave it anywhere, the landlines!!! >:-[

I have NEVER used Dish network .... Always comcast for eight years now and even I got a call from these idiots. If you have AT&T you can dial 6-1-1 from your phone to get to customer service. Have the number blocked. I think if you lay $5 a month you can have up to 6 numbers blocked.

check your credit score. I work for a bank and they checked and there WAS 1,000 dollars out for DISH NETWORK. I filed id theft. They are still calling me!! check it out!

Gotten several messages from this "Chelsea" and the Enhanced Recovery Coorperation. Had 17 new messages from them! Two different kinds: one says, "This is Chelsea with Enhanced Recovery Coorperation, my job is to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose." And the other one says, "Hi, this message is for LORIMAR MUNDO. If you are not this person delete this message and DO NOT call us back." Then they gave me a number and they said I had unpaid debt. I followed their directions cause obviously I'm not this MUNDO person and yet they keep calling me and I keep having to delete this messages. Once in a while I get calls from the company but when I pick up no ones there! I have AT&T and I can't figure out a way to block them! How do you get them to stop calling?!

This Number called my work and said that i have been sent to collections .
Don't know who they are. If they are a reputable company they would identify there selfs .
I will not deal with you and i will file complints with my local Better Business Beurau

I got a computer robot-type voice message on my cell phone stating that I should call this 800 number about a business matter and a referral number.  I am definitely NOT calling them back.  I do not pick up numbers I do not recognize and never talk to anybody that cannot honestly identify themselves.  Any reputable person or company would identify themselves when calling or in leaving a message.  Even volunteers representing people running for political office do that.  If they are not phishers/scammers/salespeople; they should be able to address me by name and/or send me correspondence in the mail.
