Called cell phone 4 times in 2 days saying it was a personal matter and sited a file #.  Said to call 1-866-547-4725.  Looked this number up on internet & it is under "current list of suspicious phone numbers".  No person identified.

Get calls relentlessly from 800-537-6195.  Most of the time - get hang ups if my answering machine picks up.  Changed recently to leaving a voice message that it is urgent for me to call back 1-800-537-6195 but doesn't say what it about.  I owe nothing.  My credit rating is perfect and I am sick of these scum marketers.

I got call from 800-537-6195 many times a day.  I did not pick it up because I thought it's the marketing call.  There was a guy left a message.  In the message, he did not say the call was from which company and said he could not explain why he called.  He left the file number and asked me to call back at 1-866-547-4725.  He kept saying the call back number.  It's really odd for me and I think it's maybe the cheating call.  Anywa, I think it's not a good idea to answer this call.

I received five calls from this number on my cell phone within two days...a Saturday and Sunday, no less.  I didn't answer any of the calls and no messages were left.  I called the number today (Tuesday) and asked to be removed from their call list.  The operator I spoke with looked up the number and they had my number in their records as belonging to someone else.  She told me she would remove the number from their records.  We'll see if that actually happens...

Keep getting calls from this number some womens recorded voice saying they can not give out any information regarding this call, but it is critical that I return the call?

Called my cellular telephone twice on Saturday and left no message. I have no idea who the caller was or the purpose of the call.

Be careful when dealing with collection agencies and companies.  Keep in mind your conversation could be wiretap.  Be aware of Pretext or Pretenders.  Document everything.  Know your rights and obey the law.

They called twice within 6 days, and left a message for "Maria *". Called back, and asked them to take my number off of their list. Hope this will work. Will See.

800-537-6195 called and left a message for a "Matt Nichols" (sp?). Called back, said I'm not this person, they have no business with me, and to not call. Operator demanded my SSN, I refused. She told me unless I did, calls would continue. I said the FTC would be informed of such violations and she hung up.

These reps that call are rude and need a lesson in customer service! If you call someone don't accuse them of crap and try to understand sometimes it really isn't their debt! If someone used their name and ran up a bill they are the victim not some jerk trying to get out of a bill!

I looked them up on the Internet. They work out of an office Suite in San Jose, California. Yes, their calls are automatic, and irritating. In this time of economic recession, debt collects are on the increase, and so are the scammers! Everyone is complaining, and companies (probably more scammers) are advertising that they can help you (for a fee) in stopping these harrasement calls. I don't believe that either. Here is the website for the number that is calling you. I looked up their address on google maps (street view) and see that this address is located in a large building in San Jose, but all you see is the building, and a large parking lot. Nothing distictive about this place. They probably have a large room, filled with people sitting in cubicles, and making calls all day long. They are probably closed on weekends, and after that, the automated machines take over. Here is the information they provide on the Internet:

Leave a file number and a phone number to call back.  How can I stop them calling?

I keep recivinga calls from 18005376195 late at nite they don't even leave a massege,  I normaly don't answer numbers I don't know un less they indetify them self.. but they don't..they don't even say the name of the person they trying to reach.. I have recive call up to 8:30 pm    can somo one make them stop????

Relentless calling.  Mostly do not leave a message if my answering machine picks up. Today they started leaving a message that it is urgent for me to call them immediately.  I have perfect credit and owe nothing. This is just telemarketing scum.

They call me daily leaving a message for someone that I have never heard of.  It's an automated call and the name is not mine.  I have tried continually for months to have them remove my number from their system.  Most of the time I call the number back that they request me to call, and nobody will answer.

Some pre-recorded message got thru to my answering machine.

i just received a call from them,They didn't ask for anyone,just told me to call ms.lee and that it wasn't a sales call.i guess they bought the debt from the other two companies that have harrassed me looking for the former owner
isn't it a law that these companies have to identify themselves?

They are trying to get ahold of someone I have never heard of and even called on EASTER! Outrageous!!!

They left a message on my machine to call them back about some kind of debt. The rude jerk on the phone when I called back said I owed $765 for a citation from the Department of Consumer affairs about doing business without a license. I told him the truth, that I don't have a business. He then asked me if my middle name was Sean (no) or birthdate 1964 (no). He said they'd remove the number.
