I just got a call from them, did not answer as I didn't recognize the #. I DO have a Lifelock account which my employer provides for employees..may be expiring, has been a year or more. I don't want phone calls from them though so will ignore it. They did not leave a msg. If it's important, they can leave a msg. Otherwise I assume they are telemarketing :)

This is a valid call from Lifelock. In my case, I had opened a new account, and I was being alerted of the situation. It was reassuring to know that Lifelock, in fact, was monitoring my accounts.

Weird. I signed up for a it like last year. Now just got this call, the past 4 days I been getting calls from someone with a New Jersey cell phone making weird sex noises and asking when I was going to reload my starbucks card since I have the app. I went to Pennsylvania for a grooming expo and we did stop at a starbucks in Jersey. He must have snagged my number some how off my phone. I know it doesn't have anything to do with life lock but its still weird.
I blocked the Jersey number, and got a new card number for Starbucks .. problem solved and I only have 5 stars left til I am gold still! Life is good! ;)

My school district enrolled all employees after the district system was hacked. LifeLock was calling with notification that the year of coverage was expiring and offering the opportunity to renew. It's the one of only a few legitimate business calls I've received in the recent future- wish the others would go away!

800-543-3562 is a valid call from LifeLock, which in my case was a very welcome call to alert me that someone was attempting to open a new account in my name. Fortunately, it was I who was opening the account. I have great confidence in a company with this kind of monitoring for my protection. LifeLock is a GREAT company!

Three calls in 5 minutes. I don't answer 1-800 calls because every company I need to talk to, I already have them in my contacts. If another 1-800 number comes up, it's no one I need to talk to. I returned the call just to see who it was, and yes, it's LifeLock. It was a different 1-800 number than I had, though, because I "do" have LifeLock service. Personally, I think they're great. They prevented a $2,000 charge at a sports store. Yes, they're persistent if you try to cancel, but that's a good thing for you. If you really don't want it? Just cancel the charge it's going to with your bank or credit card company and prevent it from happening again. Tell them to stop calling and/or block their number on your phone. Even with a cell phone you can block numbers by signing into your account. For me, they've saved me quite a bit over the years by preventing unauthorized charges. I personally would never go without them.

Seems odd, I'm quite satisfied with LifeLock, in fact I opened an account with a bank today, and within a few minutes, I got a text from Life wanting to make sure I was doing this. Also got a phone call, and an email. Month or so ago, someone tried to open store account using my SS, and I got messaged immediately, told them it wasn't me, they handled it. As far as customer support, every time I've talked to someone they've been knowledgeable and polite. Perhaps you are schilling for that Debix company? As I said, I have nothing but great things to say about LifeLock.

I am tired of the constant calls from this number/company. They falsely state that I have an account with them that is about to expire and try to scare me into calling them in urgent fashion. Obviously they want me to call for a sales pitch.

Actually it is a good service, however once you've signed on, they will NOT let go. When you attempt to cancel, they attempt all kinds of antics to keep you. I have found them to be helpfull during a divorce situation, but now thats over they are more of a hinderance.

This was life lock, recently applied for ford credit for a new mustang. They called confirming it was me. This is an excellent service, and wouldn't live without it. The other posts in this column must be from the people trying to get you to join that other one, weird.....

It was from LifeLock. They did leave a message. I had applied for cable service and this was an alert from them that someone had used my identity for credit or services. It was super fast, within an hour. Also got an email alert. I am a subscriber and am safer with this service. Only $9/month and totally worth it.

Got France accessing my email that's associated with my android phone, now 5 days later these a***oles call and leave a message saying I am at risk of theft. blah blah bla, obviously this lifelock company is using shady tactics to exploit people. TIP do not use any email worth crap for your cel or other devices.
Really the government should be dealing with this "issue" not extortion companies milking people in a economy like this. I would not be surprised if these "people" are not spreading your information to shady people on purpose.

I think they called me because I cancelled my lost credit card that I used to charge their service. They did leave a message but all I heard was "...don't leave yourself at risk by losing this important coverage."
Ah well, bout time I stopped using them anyways,!

800-543-3562 is a number for the company "Lifelock". If you have purchased coverage from this company to protect your credit and identity, this is who the call is from. I hope this helps all who needs to know!!!
