I called and asked that they remove my company's fax number - the rep agreed to do so without hesitation, as if he were used to the request, and the conversation was short, pleasant and professional.

I tracked them down. Their 'sales' number is 855-226-2825 - I have a machine calling them every 15 minutes with a recording to stop their unsolicited faxes. If we all start calling this number maybe they will get the hint. I asked to speak to a supervisor, asked what was the name of the company, etc. I was told to go "F**K" myself and they hung up. The person claims to be named Felix Johnson, but it's not a real name. Although the same person answers the phone each time.

Noticed it says 'companion airfare'. That means they only give airfare for one person, I assume.
Bottom line, they're liars, scammers and low-class dirtbags and you should report to your State Attorney General. Here in FL, it's against the law for someone to sell travel to Florida residents or with a Florida destination unless they're a bonded and insured REGISTERED SELLER OF TRAVEL with the State.

That way, you can't dispute. Hardly reputable.
Don't buy anything from anyone who does a mass fax marketing campaign.
And yes - they are total dicks.
I asked them for their fax number and they said "That isn't going to happen". Uhh huhh - it's ok for them to use OUR resources for their scummy advertising but not ok for us to use theirs.

Bill is right, that's the number listed on my fax solicitation as well!
Then to be removed, the solicitation advises you to call 1-877-871-9436! What a SCAM, thanks for all the comments, I knew this was "to goog to be true". Seriously, two people can travel to Europe on $500 Bucks? Not even on foot with backbacks!

Contact your state's attorney general's office. You can generally do this online, and provide as much information as possible. This company threatened me on the phone today, and that's just what I did.

Just called and requested removal. They were very nice actually so I did not have to get crazy but I was prepared to do so!

We received an unsolicited fax from these clowns last Friday (9/16), so I called THEM and asked "What company is this, again??" He said "Luxury Vacations" I asked for him to repeat his answer, he said it again. I asked "Who is CL Marketing? or VCL Marketing?, He replied that he didn't know, he guessed it was "the marketing company" I informed him that the faxes being sent to my office are in violation of the law. He said "Well, you can just have your fax number removed, ya know" and I pointed out to him that I have a file an inch thick of ads just like his, where I had to "unsubscribe" to get them to stop wasting my resources, he said "Well, just give ME your fax number and I'll even remove it for you" ... which I did.... got another fax today! So, now I am filing a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency online.

Note: These scammers are also known as VIIXL Marketing (likely among a long list of other fictitious and constantly changing names). Their "company" has no legitimate name. Some of their numbers listed to call to be removed from their faxing database are non-working. These also rotate. Do not expect to have a real conversation with them since they are just a a bunch of criminals intentionally running a phone operation designed to take your money, i.e. they are EXPECTING your complaints and make sport of insulting you. They do not care. If you or someone you know, knows how to initiate an official investigation via your State Attorney General's Office, do it now. Unless you can put pressure on law enforcement and politicians to actually go after these criminals, you likely haver no resource unless you are capable and determined enough to go after them yourself. If you are, many will likely join your efforts IF you are serious and have the resources to really go after them. As of now, they have zero fear of U.S. law enforcement doing anything about any aspect of what they are doing.

I called to ask to be removed from there list they had a smart-a** response and hung up ,called back 6 times asking for a supervisor they just kept hanging up, I would not think these guys can deliver anything , if you ask for the company name they DO NOT WANT TO TELL YOU, names I got from them Brad, Vinnie and Mike and the real bad ones who are hiding don't even give there names," REAL MEN HUH" what a bunch of wussies
| Laura 2011-09-16 17:28:06 Unknown |
Try calling 877-871-9436 to be removed. I just did and had no problem doing that. Hopefully it works and I dont continue receiving these junk faxes.

Just received a fax from LUXURY VACATIONS 1-800-544-4207. I called the 800 number to be removed from their fax list and he tried to charge me $5.00 to be removed! Of course i didn't pay!
| leavemealone 2011-09-16 14:36:29 Unknown |
(please see my previous post)
I used to write: "Junk faxes are illegal and subject to fines and prosecution!" and fax junk faxes right back to the source. Have noticed recently that there often seems to be no way to identify the sender's fax #. Printed fax journal/report shows a blank where their # should be printed. I have seen some suggestions on these boards about faxing back to the phone #...?
Would appreciate any suggestions you may have re: identifying sender, fax #, etc.
Thanks.

The fax itself is illegal. Sending unsolicited faxes is a violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) an unenforced federal law.
These faxes are sent by criminals. There is no "vacation". They will steal your money if they can trick you out of it.

THUGS!!! We received fax at business today-called to be removed. They hung up on me twice when I asked who I had reached. Called again, spoke with 'Brad' -said he was a supervisor. He didn't like my attitude - called me bi**h, cu*t, told me I don't run things and he didn't have to do anything for me but 'stay black and die'. Then he told me I was not being a good christian! Threatened to fax me a black piece of paper every day to use up all of our fax resources. These people need to be identified and put out of business at the least!
