asking for Bobby...continually call my cell phone number-says he name is Bill.  Very rude and would not give out any info...

i received this call today. we should block this no.

Direct tv did not hire these people they know nothing about this company, called them personally this is a hoax!

In an almost amusing ironic twist they are trying to collect money from me for a company that owes me money. Aside from that their claim is ridiculous, the way they go about it is completely unprofessional.
  They called me at 5am and 6am pacific time. They claimed to have done it accidentally BOTH TIMES because they are on Eastern time. However, after the first time they woke me up I made it very clear to them what time zone I'm in and they have my address and know full well that I live on the West coast.
  Another time they called and the device that they were using to record our conversation, without my permission, went off making it sound like a prank call.
  What they are doing is harassment but I'm not sure what recourse to take that's not too time consuming. DIRECTV is the company that hired them to harass me. Any suggestions?

Ditto happened to me today.

Got a call in the middle of the night.  When I finally woke up enough to find my phone there was no one on the other end.  After saying hello several times they hung up.  Googled their number and found this site.  I am going to report this number to the do not call list and hope they do something about it.

calling for someone who does not live here. I told them they had the wrong number & he was very rude. don't know who these people are but they are very annoying and rude.

this number has called me several days now.  They ask for "Bobby" and when i said i'm not him, he asked who are you?  I wouldn't give my name and he asked again who I was.  I told him i was going to report this to the FCC do not call list.  My cell is blocked so the more people that file a complaint we can get this folks.

Received a call  from this number at 7:11 pm on Jan 22 and again at 8:10 am on Jan. 24 in Maine. I didn't answer either call. No message was left. After the 2nd call, I called my phone company to complain about the numerous junk calls I've been getting from toll-free numbers since moving to this state in April, even after entering my number on the Do Not Call List that month. They said to call the Do Not Call List complaint option and register the numbers that have been bothering me. That number is 888-382-1222, option 4. The recording there says they don't investigate individual complaints but are compiling a database of violators, who can be subject to stiff fines. Thus, if many people register the same number, I assume that number will be investigated.

I received a call asking to speak with me, but told them "she's not here. may I ask who is calling?" The man said his name was Bill, and asked how I could be reached. I asked what it was in regard to, and he insisted he could only speak with me. I told him I would never give out someone's phone number without knowing what it was about. He got very angry and said "What do you sit next to the phone screening her calls all day?". Shocked I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he hung up on me. I tried to call the number from my caller ID, but it gave me the number of a third party service in a foreign country that had no idea what the actual number was or the name of the company!!!

I am getting called from this number also. I am glad that I googled it for I was about to answer it. I get calls from this number at all hours of the day and night. I have gotten calls as late as 9 or 10pm. I too am wishing there was something to do as I am fed up with all the BS of these people.

just got a call on both cell phones 2 different providers. i just don't answer. male sure that your children are aware of this scam if they too carry a cell phone.

I just got a call from these people asking to speak with me. When I told them I wasn't available, they asked to speak with my husband (which I don't have). They then told me that this was an URGENT matter and that I needed to return their call immediately. Then they hung up before I could ask anything further. When I called the number back, there was a recorded message saying that if I pressed a key on my cell phone, I could receive info about this number. I hung up and googled it and found this site.

I was suprised to actually find information about this number.

I have received multiple collection agencies calling my cell phone for the person who previously had my cell phone number. So when this lady called for this other person I asked where she is from. She would not tell me. I informed her of my situation and explained that under Fair Debt collection Practices Act, once they are advised to no longer call a certain number, by law they must stop. She refused to tell me who they were and stated, "This is a private business matter. You will no longer be called by us." I hung up at that point figuring I would call back and get the name of the agency, so I would know if I spoke with them before. I agreed to have a text sent to me for them to identify themselves. I didn't realize I was sugning up for a service. It's 20 minutes later and I still havent' received anything, but I have sent the stop message to them.

I found their customer service number, called it and had a long, intensely angry discussion with a customer service representative. She claimed she would have a management representative call me. I am waiting for that call (as I called them only 5 minutes before this entry's timestamp).

I got a call and hangup from this number (1-800-546-2395). I Googled this number and this came up. After reading the note for this number on this website, I did not bother calling back. Someone should prosecute these idiots.

Someone keeps calling my cell from this number.  When I call it back it says something like...if you want information about the person calling you from this number press any key.  They charge you a fee of 9.99 to subscribe to their service and tell you who they are.
