I am trying to pay my account and SETF has increased my payment for some unknown reason and I am tired of them they seem to be the scum of the earth.  I am currently looking into re-financing with a credit union so that I can get rid of SETF.

I get calls from this number also BUT I do own a Toyota Corolla and I do owe on it, I just been late in paying them recently due to personal events. I believe they are legit. I gave them my credit card number over the phone to make a one time payment and they took it and took money out, but only the one time. Calling me again after non-payment shows they did not keep my account. I think it is pretty legit.
For those that don't think it legit or want to stop calls, I spoke to a lawyer about a Credit Card company calling me all the time at work that I refused to pay them anything (personal reasons) and she told me that I need to tell them they cannot call me on a business line at all, and ALL calls stopped at work.
Then they started calling me on my cell phone, which I use for my Photography business, so I told them the same thing there. I was not so lucky. They said they had no other form of communication for me so they would continue to harass me on that line.  Well one day I had enough and I said one CURSE word and the lady told me not to speak like that. I asked her if she was my mother which she replied no, then I proceeded to tell her that so long as they call me on my cell phone I have every right to speak in any language to them (I did not call them names, I just dropped the F- Word a lot) and I NEVER EVER heard from them again. Not in letters, phone calls or emails?!?!?!
So my advice, curse at them when they call and won't stop. They hate that.

I missed the call but seeing now it is Toyota I wonder why they are calling when we are 6 months ahead on payments and are switching the method we pay them

Bob, you're ignorant and you have no clue what other people are going through.  You must work for them or you just have loads of cash.  As for me, I lost my job at the beginning of Feb, called Toyota the next day to see if I could push my payments out for 2 months (which they did for a fee).  I spoke to a very nice woman by the name of Tiffany and explained that I had just lost my job and was looking for another one, so I was told to pay 58.44 which is interest and their fee for the service.  I paid the same day on their website, and was told that they would send a letter that I needed to sign and fax back to them.  I just received the letter today and it will be faxed tomorrow, however.....I have received probably 5 calls from them regarding when I would make a payment.  I have answered every call and explained it AGAIN to which I get the same response "no problem, I will note that in the system".  Do me a favor Bob and note that in the system for me please.  By the way, you sir are the a$$hole.

The economy is no longer an excuse the economy was in the toilet when the oldest of these notes were taken out. You knew what you were getting into. A bunch of entitled babies.

I have been getting calls from this number for about 2 weeks now, nonstop. They never leave a message, and I spoke with Toyota this morning and asked them why they are calling.  Customer service advised they did not know why someone would be calling from that number because I have a 2 month extension on my account, and no payment is due until January 2014!! Unbelieveable!!

Calls and harasses for payment if it is one day late. The calls stop and go on until they receive your payment.

It comes up on my caller ID as SOETF. Calls 2-3 times in the mornings, no body there. Very annoying, plus I am on the do not call list. What a lot of good that does.....

Just got this call.  Man would not ID himself and asked if I knew another person that used to live on our street.  When I asked who he was and who he represented, he told me to disregard the call.

Sounds like a collection agency.

Beware of these people and do not give out any information.

The number shows up on caller ID as Toll Free Caller.

Report them to the FCC.

I received a call from this number to my cell,  and when I called it back, it was recorded message from SE Toyota.
And when they asked to type in my Social Security Number, that was that.  Delete.  Some sort of scam.

The company calling is Southeast Toyota Finance. Grant you, I am behind on my payment and some woman with them called me at work. I talked with her and told her I was sending a payment next week and give me till the first week of April, and I would get it caught up. I proceeded to let her know that the reason why I was later. With this economy right now that my hours have been cut and I have been doing my best.

Well, she proceeded to tell me that I was not sending enough and that the phone calls would not stop. She also told me that I obviously got a car that I could not afford and that I should trade it in on something I could afford. That totally pissed me off.

I financed this car through them for six years and I have 22 more payments. I have been on time with my payments till now. They can kiss my a##!

World Omni...bleah...when they call I just switch into my Samulel Jackson voice and says "I dare you to call me a n****!"....

I was getting calls from this number and when I answer there is no one there. After getting sick of it and searching this number, I realize it is from Toyota. Humm. I have refinanced my car with a credit union, so why are they still calling?

I am getting calls however, my account is not overdue... so not sure why they'd be calling me.

I've gotten 14 calls from this number starting at 7:15 a.m. and continuing through 12:15 p.m.  Would like to know who I need to complain to about this.  I told them the first time they called (2 weeks ago?) that the person they want wasn't at this number.  I've had this number for almost 3 years and they insist that this is the current phone number for their client.  I've threatened to call the BBB and they laugh and hang up on me.  What in the world is up with these people?

To All having trouble with 800 553-2641 I did it and all calls stoped immediatly I reported them to The Federal trade commission Division of Enforcement & Consumer Fraud Washington DC 20580 Send them a copy of your phone Log They will get fined 500.00 per call and belive me they have to pay it is a company called OMNI their personnel are Loosers and A Holes they work for ONMI because they are scum who could never hold down a real job.

I paid cash for my 2005 camery...they still call. pain in the a--!!!

Southeast Toyota Financing. I'm 5 days late on making my payment, told them yesterday I would make payment on Friday (today is Wednesday) and they have still called me 4 times today. Seriously... these people have nothing better to do??

I wasnt even 60 days past due on my toyota and they called me all day everyday.  even after i explained to them why it was late and even after sending in partial payments in good faith.  They are now threatening repossession.

i was one day late with setf and they were calling me 6 to 7 times a day i just stopped answering my phone....

World Omni - for Toyota finance - very friendly - very nice - very understanding when payment was a few days late even advised they could waive if request sent in.  I was imoressed.

They call 20 to 30 times a day using different numbers and company names including JM Entertainment. Once you get behind on payments they start and even when you catch up, they continue to call and harass you to make future payments not due yet...
