I got it today. 3 times before someone with a thick Indian accent answered. He said that I had won a digital camera and a bunch of other stuff. I said 'nice try' and hung up. If you try to return the call, all you get is a no service tone.

i just got the call i sid hello about 4 times no one said anything and them the just hange up.

it started this weekend. they would call my cell phone just as the other complaints. i hear a clicking noise then they would hang up.

i also got this called 3 times today.

They called the end of August 3 times in one evening.  The first two times I answered all I heard was a clicking noise then it hung up.  The 3rd time there was someone on the other end of the line who could barely speak English.  I told them to F**K Off for calling me 3 times in an hour and a half.  Well they called again tonight.  3 times in an hour and a half but everytime I answer all I get is the clicking noise.  I would really like to find out who these idiots are.

I got a call from 800-555-4455 today while i was out.  All i can say is thank goodness for caller ID.  I'm w/ annoyed.... don't know the number, don't answer.

Called me twice in the last hour. I didn't answer either time - don't recognize the number, don't answer the phone.

I got a call too - when I asked where they got my number they mumbled some response, which was completely worthless, since the accent at the normal volume made it hard to understand them in the first place. When I asked them to not call me and to remove my number from this list, they replied "what, you don't want to talk to your friend?". The whole exchange would not change and he would not remove me from the list, or even stop talking. The only way the call was able to end was to hang up. Extremely annoying - and what happened to the do not call list?

2 calls yesterday and 2 calls today (one at 9 in the morning) since the phone doesn't get good reception in the house and it wasn't a number i knew i didn't answer.  later this morning there was a voice mail message that sounded like someone in a bottle...very broken up, no decernible message, but it was human speech.

besides, isn't 555 what they use for movie and tv sitcom phone numbers?

All I say is "Matthew? are you aware its past 9? just hungs up. darn, Next time I think i'll play along.. and ask him, to take down my Credit card, Checking account and Social..lol.. seriously though, anyone know what we actually could do?

Rofl, he callt me throughout the day and I didn't pick up, just now I got so f'n pissed off I answered and told him "To stop calling me" He said fine then -sshole. Lol, just lol, I hope this j*** off gets what he deserves.

Just received a call from this phone number, it rang twice and then went to missed call.  I get enough stupid phone calls from idiotic people like this that I know better than to answer it.

Someone called my cell twice from this number today.  I tried to call back thinking it was someone calling regarding my husband who is out of town.  I got a busy signal then decided to look up the number before I tried to reach them again.

i got a call from this number about a week ago 3 times, and now they are calling again, so far its 4 times today, its a bit annoying, anyone have any clue?

as soon as i answered i asked who is this. he answered 'Adam'. I asked him what his bosses name was, he seemed nervous and asked why. I told him that I was curious to what his boss had to say. He told me his bosses name was 'David' (both totally fake). i asked to talk to his boss and changed his answer to 'I'm the boss.' Then I told him, "LOOK HERE BOSS, MY NUMBER IS REGISTERED AT DONOTCALL.GOV, SO I'M GOING TO PUT IN A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR NUMBER AND THEY'LL PROBABLY TRACE THE ORIGIN OF YOUR LITTLE OPERATION IN THE MORNING' He promptly hung up and now I'm hoping for the best. But I really am registered with them. I think you guys should be too

some towel head has called me about 10 times and told me i won a vaction and shopping spree complementary from USA shopping network and i told him i was not interested unless they are just going to mail me 2 tickets and some money. The indian guy told me to f*** off so i told him to learn english and blah blah blah and hung up. he called me right back and told me to go f*** myself and that i am a peice of s**t and all kinds of other stuff so i just hung up again. I'd like to find out who this is and if this is a company or just some worthless scammer with no job and if so, where he lives...

man, this number's been callin' me soooo much..."it" just called me about forty-five minutes ago!  same number, same time, callin' repeatedly, almost everyday.  sometimes, it skips a few days and calls me more than a few times a day, y'know, tryin' to make up for lost time and all.  so one nite, i finally answered the phone with this amazingly original "555" number around seven forty-five to eight pm, a weeknight.  i pretended that i didn't speak any english or very little english and said hello like this: "harrow."  i said this a few times and their was this fierce sista' on the other end who decided that she was annoyed with me after many inquiries about who was in charge of my phone plan/bill as i kept proceeding with, "ahh, harrow?  harrow??"  apparently sisterslegehammer was pissed off, cussed me out profusely and kept tellin' me "f*** you, f*** off a**h**e".  her tone changed from her "professional" inquiry about my phone plan to a very angry woman.  dude, if you wanna sell me somethin', cut to the damn chase and just ask.  obviously, i'm not the only person who's had this number haunt their mobile phones so what/who is this number anyhow?  man, just tell me what cha' want already...i'm tired!  this ain't a bath house, this ain't a brothel, i'm broke, i got nothin' to give to some w**ker on the celly-telly so this number needs to stop...and i registered my number in that "don't-call-me-cuz-you're-creepy" center, too!

no name calling, they said i owed an old creditor $1859.63, i asked who the creditor was, and was told it was 'confidential information', at which time i advised them that i would pay it, just as soon as i got a supbeona to go to court, but in the meantime, i would be contacting the owner of their company, and i would be suing them for about 2.5 million, on the grounds of fraudently trying to get money, calling me when i am on the 'dontcalllist', and anything else i could think of, they laughed at me and told me that i had no way of finding out who they were, i said, well maybe 'I' dont, but my family member who works with the FCC can! they hung up on me-imagine that!

well I got a call from the same pamper head saying I one a great prize also and that he would send a camera and something else( dont understand pamper head language). well here is my thoughts, this guy is trying to send people stolen merchandise so we can pay shipping fees and deport the stolen goods to pamperhead country. Called and stated I had won a trip and a shopping spree.  They have called before and I had already filed a complaint with the PA AG office.  Told the caller not to call me again and he stated ge did not understand me and continued to read his script.  Caller stated he did not know his name when I asked for it.  Just filed another complaint.

I just got a call from that number and it was scary.  He called me names under his breath (bi***) when I asked how he got my cell number.  He then said he was from IRAQ and why don't I come over.   Crazy.    That's when I hung up.
I am glad I found this website when I typed in the number. At least I know it was not just me he was targeting.

I got a call from this number, when I asked to be placed on their Do Not call list, the rep told me to "F%@ off we will be calling you whenever we want, F%@ off". I asked him to repeat what he said the moron repeated "F%@ Off".  Note; it was a male person with a strong accent perhaps from India?

They have been calling for the last couple wks it just wont end.

I think the wrong people are being targeted here. Most of the people conducting these annoying phone calls seem to be in foreign countries that would be hard to reach with legal action. On the other hand, YOUR PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER has the resources to stop these calls from going to its customers but stands by and does nothing. I mean, don't you think your cell phone provider makes money when you go over your minutes because you have received 100 hang up calls that each take a minute off of your minutes? And most all charge you to add a blocked number and limit you to about 6 if they'll do anything at all.

Once you've tried all the channels mentioned above, talk to a lawyer. At very least, have him or her write a letter to the phone service provider stating that you intend to sue them if they don't stop these calls. They are knowingly aiding these criminals, so there should be at least one legit law they can be busted under. Make sure the lawyer mentions this law. Make clear that you intend to sue if they don't help you. Most phone companies are afraid of being sued anyway, so a letter of intent to sue from a real lawyer should get their attention. If it doesn't, you may have to sue them. At very least, get your cell phone minutes back. That should make them think twice about aiding criminals.

I have received 4 calls from this number every time that I answer nobody is there, any suggestions on how to get them to stop calling my cell phone while I am at work would be helpful.

I just got a call from this number too. Indian male voice calling from  "American Shopping Center" telling me I won some prize. before he Continued I asked where he got my number from and his response was "F@#k YOU" and hung up. I tried calling the number back and it comes up with a busy signal
