Getting calls from this number every day.  They hang up before the answering machine picks up.  We do not owe anybody money so I don't know why they would be calling.

They call and hang up before I can answer 2 or 3 times in a row, usually in the morning, almost every day. Apparently they're debt collectors, but I have literally never taken a loan on anything before. And I have no fines or anything.

It's getting incredibly annoying!

NCO financial services.

I have too much time on my hands, obviously, since I called back and left them with dead air and then hung up.  Then, they called back as a blocked private caller.  This time, at least, they left a message and asked for someone who did not live here.

NCO Financial dialing system.  No on answered when I finally did so I called them back and, after making an observation about the person's lineage, told them (futiley, I'm sure) to get me off their dialing list.

i get phone call from this everyday, even they leave message. i want them to stop calling  my phone. also i have to pay for incoming call. this is really bad for me. please stop calling me!!

We get this call at least twice a day.  I am getting furious about it.  I finally called it today and I just get put into a loop of asking me to put in an extension and then telling me to wait for the next available operator.

Ok, I just called them back and got through this time. They asked me for the number they were calling which is my cell phone. I gave it to them. They then asked me if this was my number. I confirmed it was mine. They said they had it down as a phone number for a person named Andrew. They asked me if I know an Andrew. I do not. They stated they would take my phone number off their list. Hopefully they do!! I am SICK of their calls.

I get a call almost every day on my cell phone from a number that displays as "unknown number". The recording states that it is calling about a business matter and gives me a reference number. I've tried not answering, hanging up, but it will leave messages too.

I called it back and was just put on hold. I thought it was some sort of a scam. Now that I'm reading these other comments maybe it is people trying to track me down for the approx. $7 I owe for crossing the Golden Ears toll bridge. LOL I had totally forgotten about this... maybe if they would actually state why they are calling it would help people!!

Are they really allowed to harass people like this?

I recieved a call from NCO Financial every day at the same time. I ignored the call because they did not state their business. They finally wore me down and I called them back. They were trying to collect on a sky train fine in someone elses name. I have a similar name so they are calling me. Their idea is simple, If the debt is not yours, perhaps you know the person or maybe it is a member of your family, and they want to access their phone number or whereabouts from you. My reply was a simple PFO, my next call will be to the phone co. complaint dept. and if there continues to be a problem, the police and further legal action. I guess we will see what tomorrow brings.

I get a call from this number atleast once a day on my Bell cell (which I have only had for a few months) saying it is a personal business matter.  I just tried calling back to get it to stop, and the call doesn't go through.

Another phone number of a collection agency NCO Financial.

this number calls my house everyday at least twice i think it is for a former tenant which we have had several calls about from various collection agencies

i always call screen and even though it may slightly annoy, i am more amused that they are paying to harass me and i will never answer. i did try answering after the first couple of months to see if anything would happen and nobody on the other end.

i'm going to continue to let them waste their time. although i may start calling their 1-800 number from phone booths and let the phone dangle just so i know it is costing them a bit more money. i'm sure they have call display so won't do it from my phone.

after all companies do have to pay for their 1-800 service and it is based on time and amount used.

thing is the person they are looking for was only here a month and ended up owing me money too...

but it has been several years now. the message used to say her name but now it just has a robot voice from this collection agency.

i have been call screening for most of my life now, i like answering machines so i can do just that, better than phone in services...

I've got this phone number by messaging, and the caller ID is unavailable. They never mention what they want or who to find, always using machine voice playback for messaging recording. I don't understand about this type of phone call. Does any one knows about this and how to block it?

Yup, NCO Financial trying to track down someone I had never heard of. I'm in Vancouver.
