This was a "fat finger" calling mistake not an unsolicited call, and the phone operator never stated the company name, at least that I could hear while processing the quick information.

I was given the phone number by a broker for an investment trade desk with the last two numbers accidentally switched. I called and was immediately presented with a recording that I had won a $100 Walmart gift card while asking me to stay on the line. At this point, I thought it was a promotion with the financial company and wasn't aware I had the wrong number. A fast-speaking overseas operator picked up and stated that I won a $100 gift card that could be used at Walmart, Target, or another store. I asked about the company I intended to call and she said their lines were busy and went back into her spiel. For a "nominal fee" of $4.99, I could have this gift card sent to me. She was very fast and very convincing about the benefits of being a winner. I thanked her for her time, said I wasn't interested, and hung up.
