got a  voicemail message from this number..never had any Canadian Tire credit card in my life  and the name they said was on the card is not my name

I received a phone message from this number as well. Since I was a victim of credit fraud, I searched Canadian Tire webpage and called customer service to verify if this is Canadian Tire number. I found that by calling the custimer service, they can help you with all the questions you have.

I was scared by receiving calls/messges from those unknown numbers. Currently, I am not returning phone calls to any number that cannot be verified.

You're right it is Canadian Tire Fraud and Security Dept and we are just calling for your protection, not to sell you anything.

My complaint is about 1 905 671 4151. They have been harassing me about an account opened by a Mrs. Bernadine Willis. I have never been married to this person, nor did I give her permission to open an account using my name. I pressed fraud charges against this person concerning a Visa account with the Waterloo Police Fraud Squad after I was served court papers for an account that I had never heard of. The Canadian Tire account is considered part of the on going Visa fraud charge. Please contact Constable Salessee (sp.? ) about this matter. The last I heard of Bernadine Perreira, she was living in Toronto and paying back over $10,000 to Royal Bank Visa. Canadian Tire, and not your collection agency, may contact me at 1 519 504 0337 to discuss this matter. If I do not hear from you by March 22, 2008, I contact the Toronto Star about this matter. I am fed up with the efforts of your collection agency for me to pay an account that I had no part in. All of the information I have given you, I have given to your collection agency yet they persist in trying to get me to make payment(s) on that account. I am sorry that I do not have the company's name with me at this time. A "Mr." Chalmers and a Chris have spoken with me and harassed on an ongoing basis. Please contact me quickly so that any further embarrassment to you and me and your collection agency is prevented.

This is a number a Canadian Tire fraud department number left as a message with a person along with a file number. I called their regular Customer Service number, which is listed on Yellowpages.ca (1-800-459-6415) and their website, to confirm if this was in fact a scam or not as they never leave a voice mail message otherwise at any other time.

It seems to be a legit number.
