This is NOT Sprint... I also called them with both the number that showed up on caller I'd and this 800 number. I spoke to several supervisors and they all said this number is NOT affiliated with Sprint. The message this number left said they were calling about my wireless account and have the last 4 digits if the phone number.... It wasn't my number... Not even close. The only info they had that was correct was my first name.
Everyone that's had Sprint knows that any issues you have can easily be solved by calling then directly. Even if you are late they can make arrangements. I currently have no reason for them to call me... Not late and no problems.
So yeah
...SCAM!

it is a collection agency assigned by sprint (they work with sprint). their job is to contact sprint holders who are past due on balances, work with you on payment plans and restore services. They did not ask me for credit card info unless i was making a payment over the phone right then and there.

they are subcontracted from sprint to let you know, you are late in paying your bill. They will call land line, cell,or even work numbers. Whatever sprint has on record for contact information. They are usually people who work at home who are employed from various companies who sprint hires. Everyone posting who swears it isnt from sprint, has sprint as a cell carrier and they are late on their bill.... doesnt take a rocket scientist to put it together

Its Sprint - This number calls after you have made payment, cause they are dumbasses, and dont know you are current. If it was a live person, this might not happen as much... No wonder there srent jobs, its all computers !!
Peter 2011-06-06 20:58:06 Unknown
Well they need to leave a message, it's so annoying to get a call from a 1 800 number and there's no message

Sprint financial Services. They call, as part of their new customer service initiative, when you have already made payment arrangements for a past due bill and missed the due date for the arrangement.

hmmmmmmm... and this has what to do with the question at hand? Thats great! good for you!

My SPRINT phone was shut off. I did pay the bill and had it reconnected.
The automated system did know my First, Middle and Last name.
It says its about my SPRINT account and even said I could make a payment online at Sprint.com
I trust it, as Ive never gotten a call from it before, except now, when my bill was past due.

Calling looking for inmformation saying they are from Sprint
hatesscammers 2011-02-22 20:43:35 Unknown
I have my phone shut off right now and it is not a sprint phone number. What happens is you can recieve calls but any call you try to make will automatically put you through to customer service. It does it to me even when i try to check my voicemail. it doesn't matter who you are calling it will direct you to the customer service department. Try calling the number back after your phone is reconnected and see who you get.

They are btards! I had 3 calls so I called the number back from a land line. The girl who answered said she was in Canada, Cambridge? but would not give me the full address. She asked for my cell number and I said I'd call Sprint directly. I did and they didn't know the number so I've had it blocked. We live in a sad world :o(

This is NOT Sprint! I had already made payment arrangements 3 days prior. Sprint sends me "texts" this call wanted me to call back this 800# and reefer to code 1200.... It is BOGUS. Sprint knew nothing of the call and says there is nothing on my account that would trigger a customer service call. I had the same thing happen with my debit card and again it was a call attempting to get my personal info and passcodes. Don't be stupid and fall for this crap. These people should be stoned on our towns square along with the jerks that make viruses and spyware on the Internet!

We just talked to Sprint via the cell phone. The number is NOT connected to them. The call comes on our "land line" phone--and we've gotten it many times. We have NOT responded and are reporting it to the FBI and the "Do not call" list (which we are on already)! They ask for "Diamond Hunter"?? Sounds "made up" doesn't it?
needachaser 2010-08-04 23:47:53 Unknown
Actually humans were without phones for thousands of years, but they were also f***ed. That is how we got more humans. As soon as the phone was invented. We figured out a way to use it to get f***ed even more often just like all new technology. Let's face it. Everything we do ultimately is to find a way to get f***ed. By the way this is a collection number for Sprint. It is a private subsidiary contracted with as an agent for Sprint. No, you do not have to pay your bill through them, you can do it directly through Sprint Customer Service, but this is a valid agent of Sprint authorized to collect monies for them.
MNDawg 2010-05-25 03:09:19 Unknown
ATTENTION!!!!! In regards to Sprint Customer service. If you are late in paying your bill, they will permit only incoming calls. Should you try to make an outside call, your phone/sprint service will automatically redirect your call to Sprint Customer Service in an attempt to collect your past due debt owed. If you don't believe me, try calling your voicemail when you can only accept incoming calls. It will automatically redirect you to Customer Service. After you try this, make several other outside calls with different numbers. You will get the same thing every time. Sprint is trying to give you a chance to pay your bill.

It's a fraud and whoever says it's not is STUPID and just had their credit card number stolen or they are part of this scam. I listened to the entire recording which said I owed money on my account. Funny considering I paid my bill off two weeks ago. Then I log onto sprint.com and look at my account balance which is ZERO. Obviously this is a SCAM. So I stayed on the phone to yell at these pathetic losers and the call gets all weird and gives a tone then says you owe "$46,344 on your account. Would you like to pay the balance now?" in a distorted recorded voice. Sure towelhead I'll just blindly give you 46 grand! PATHETIC!!!!
JoJo 2010-01-06 14:54:04 Unknown
Furthermore I do not have a Sprint phone or service so they would have no reason to call me or even have my phone number on file.
