Company has called on numerous occasion  for purchasing Gold or Silver Metals (coins and bullion).  Its reputation seems to be questionable. see comments from Ike, LC and Jack above. Mr. Mandoza and Mr. Lawrence Sack have been the contacts. Would appreciate more comments from persons who had problems with them.

I was a customer and then an equity investor in Advantage Metal Advisors. They lied to me, manipulated company documents and presented different versions of Meetings another documents to the different equity owners. They have mismanaged A LOT of their client's money and spent it on personal items such as very expensive cars. When I figured out that I had been scammed and wrote them a letter telling them that I knew and gave them three options, I was threatened, my children were threatened and they tried to blackmail me by telling my husband stories of my conduct during my trips to Florida to learn about the precious metals business.
I learned not to conduct such a business via telemarketing. I learned that there is unethical behavior at all levels of this industry, all the way to the very, very top.

I am opening my own little precious metals business, but I will deal with the physical metal only. I will not engage in any paper promises that the metal I purchased is being stored in a Depository. I saw Clearing Houses manipulate client's accounts.

For what it's worth, my advice is to stay away from these telemarketers. Get recommendations from people in your community about the most reputable "coin shop" in town and go there to do business. NEVER BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS. You may feel like you know little compared to most, but believe me, you know just as much and the bad guys play on weakness. Be Bold and Protect Yourself by storing your wealth in the physical metal of your choice.

These guys (Laurence D. Sack and Steven Strickland) have hired criminal attorneys and the company Advantage Metals Advisors LLC has been fozen but they turned around and found another sucker by the name of Margaret Adams and opened another company under the name Advantage Metal Advisor, Inc.  I ALMOST invested with them but I did not like the high handed tone that Laurence took with me and I was afraid of the way Steve slurred his words so I called a couple of the origionally listed investors on sunbiz.org and learned a lot.  These guys came from the now defunked company International Monetary Metals and now this company has been called into question.  Anyone who deals with either of these clowns should think twice.

Since you are representing yourself as a legitimate fraud investigator, which I do not believe you are, I would like to ask you to verify anything you just posted about Mr. Sack.  As I stated above, the Division of Consumer Services requires F.B.I. background checks on all employees, especially the principals of any company. I would appreciate a document, a link, anything, that would back up what you so casually posted.  If not, I will have to take it as another attempt at libel.  I look forward to hearing a response, but I doubt that will be the case.

I spoke to a Milton Hunter form Advantage Metals and he says the depository for all the silver is only stored at Brinks in Salt lake City...I am still researching and on the fence.I downloaded their application and it does not seem professional enough for me.My intuition tells me to keep researching.Good Luck

Hello, my name is Han Okcuoglu, and I am the Administrative Manager for Advantage Metals LLC (D.B.A. Advantage Metal Advisors).  A client of our company notified us of this site, and the misinformation posted here.  After our attorney contacted the owners of 800notes, we were informed that since this is a third party site and they claim no liablity for the posts of users, our only recourse was to refute anything that could be construed as libel with a post of our own.
   I will begin by informing all those out there that our company is fully compliant with all State and Federal Laws.  This compliance involves F.B.I. Background checks on ALL employees before they are hired.  The Commercial Telephone License for our company is a yearly renewable license and is registered with the Florida Division of Consumer Services.  Our company license number is TC3739, the license number of our president Laurence Sack is TP30739 and my personal license number is TP30874.  In addition, our company has a $50,000 Surety Bond (underwritten by Liberty Mutual Insurance and required for any company doing business on the phone in Florida).  This ensures any client can be reimbursed for up to $50,000 (equal to the amount invested) in the case of misrepresentation by our company.  This in addition to insurance on the metal itself.  This information can be verified by :

The company is listed with the state corporation open in 01/14/10. Appears they open up a shell company to defraud as many people as possible then vanish. I did a little investigation and appears Lawrence D Sack also goes by the last name Jack or Stack. Interesting to see he has used 31 different addresses over the years. Looks like a fraudster on the run. He came from CA and now working his scam in South FL.. This company does make me want to invest in metal.....Lead.. and lots of it.

Received a call from Advantage Metals Advisor, Milton Hunter. Sounded like it was legit, until I got online and checked out the company. They list their address as 110 E. Broward Blvd #1700, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. But that company is not listed there, nor is Milton Hunter. Same possible scam goes for International Monetary Metals.

I appreciate the concern, but I've actually went to the depository in Delaware and inspected my silver.  I've also received profit checks.  What you are saying would make more sense if you had been scammed by this company, but based off what everyone in here is posting, I don't see one complaint here or anywhere online about anyone being scammed.  The whole point of me posting earlier was to let people onto my experience, which has been nothing but pleasurable and lucrative.  Like I said before, to each his own.

I am a client of Advantage Metals...I apparently requested some information from the Motley Fool website or Money and Markets (?), i forget which one.  someone contacted me back and i've already opened a bullion account. I have access to my account online whenever I want and a transfer of commodity document with MY serial numbers.  i find it strange that people fling around accusations without cause.  Whatever, to each his own.  I'm happy and I guess that's all that matters, it's just suprising that everyone is so inflammatory here.    I hope that helps, because it doesn't seem like anyone in here was scammed out of anything.  and a family member of mine has had his identity stolen TWICE, so believe me when I say I am skeptical.
