i have literally hundreds of "spam" calls that i've never recieved and this number is going to be added to my block list. best part, anyone who calls gets the number disconnected tones which removes you from most autodialers.

The best tip here is if they are calling you on cell with a new number it is most likely the previous account holder. Many new cell phones have a call rejection setting, As well as your celluar service may also offer it for free. T-mobile and Verizon both offer it with your online account services. Since it can be a pain removing with it the company if you do not hold any info about that person's account.

The caller with English accent asking me for my DOB and wanted to discuss a private matter.  I told him that I'd not give him my personal information and have nothing to discuss with a stranger.  He then told me to check my mail box and hung up.  I called him back and asked him if he would like to talk with my legal counsel.  He replied "yes".  I asked him for his company name he said:  "M2 Revenue".  I believed this company runs business for the so-called "C. An.  anes.  Services in SF with all kinds of illegal med. billings, extortions, etc.

They should be reported to the FCC, Inspector General, FBI and the likes.

They have been calling me for 2 months I have told them plenty of times they have the wrong number they are looking for Jack Zawinski...

this number has called me repeatedly and threatened that it is something i better listen to for my sake.  they won't identify themselves and always ask for my date of birth and full name.  i've asked to be removed from their calling list many times.

I think I'm going to buy a whistle and use it loud and clear the next time I get these numerous calls.  One review (for another unwanted number) said this did the trick for them.  Can we still use the pick up call and press * 10 times or press # 10 times to scramble automated dialing to stop calls.  I've tried it on a few and doesn't seem to stop the calls.  I had an e-mail several yrs ago saying to do this trick.  anyone have have success with it???

I actually received a text from this number! The text only repeated the 800-number. I've read previous posts that state this is a collection agency for hospital bills. I don't owe any bills, so I'm thinking this is for the previous cell phone owner. Thought it was strange to receive a text.

Someone keeps calling from this number and speaks with a slovik accent.  We don't owe any hospital bills.  I called the number back a few minutes ago and asked why I was being called.  The answering person said it was a company called Miramed and if I gave him my phone number and name he would find out who was calling.  I said, "No", to both.  How do I get them to stop calling?  I am in the Do Not Call registry!

I get calls from this number and variations of this number. I went to the hospital last october for a small yet fairly deep cut. They washed it and glued it shut. I would have paid there since I have insurance but the retards admitted me as someone else. The damage? $700 for some soap and super glue. Get real guys I'm never paying you mother f****rs

Google: "Drop Dead Letters" and send them one by certified mail.  If they do not abide by federal law regarding Drop Dead Letters, file a complaint against them.  How to file a complaint can be found under Drop Dead Letters.  They have been calling me over a bill that has been paid for a year now.  I disputed the last statement because it was incorrect and didn't show the payment.  Even though I have sent them copies of the front and back of my canceled check they won't correct the statement so guess what?  I'm not paying it twice!

No I will not give them my birthdate and will not give them my home address and phone number!  How many times do you need to tell them that you are working with a hospital because their medical coders coding a procedure incorrectly causing you to be billed for something you shouldn't have to pay for?  The hospital should be contacting Miramed and telling them to back off.

Called the number back. I could barely understand the guy, had a thick middle eastern accent. Gave a "generic name" and asked for a reference number. Mira-Med must be selling accounts.

This is a very true statement!  I have a new cell phone number and I get strange calls asking for some lady that used to own this particular number.  I still probe questions to find out exactly who they're looking for and for what reason they are calling before I judge.  If they don't answer my questions, I won't answer theirs.  Simple as that.

To The person too scared to give their name and wants to call themselves "pay your bills people."  I do owe hospital bills... I had a good job with the railroad making about 100k a year and broke my back and have been fighting for disability for over 4 years now.  I had insurance but do owe some co pays etc. still and once railroad retirement decides to give me the benefits I paid for then the hospitals will get their money.  It is rude and very unthoughtful for you to just assume that everyone is just not paying hospital bills and living a great life while trying to screw the hospital.  If faced with paying for your home and food on the table or paying a bill that should be covered by benefits you are waiting for in litigation I think you too might just put it off.  Or perhaps you are just so wealthy you pay any bill for any reason if so I need your address cause I'd like to send a bill for having to put up with such a pompous jack*** who cannot imagine a reason that someone might be getting calls for something that is out of their control.  Oh but you have a great day.

Never can hear them well, they mumble that they are RBS or something - something about a confidential commercial matter - won't talk to me - only some one else in household, but I will never let them through - they say they want to confirm address to talk t someone.

This is a bill collection agency, they are trying to collect medical payments from Northwestern Hospital.

Correct this is "collection agency" to collect medical payments from Northwestern Hospital. This company seems to be based somewhere in India.

it was some guy "Gary" that called me, wouldn't say why he was calling. He did nothing but ask questions. Do not answer the questions ask questions back.

I have been getting calls from this company for a while now. I answered today and was told that I have a debt with a local hospital and it needs to be paid off today. I said I could do a payment plan but the guy seemed sketch. He had a really thick accent that I couldn't place, and wouldn't directly answer my questions. Is this a legit company? The payment amount they said they could do per month was ridiculously low. No other collection company I have worked with has agreed to something that low. It made me suspicious so I hung up.

This number had a 011 Country code in front that showed up on my phone. I don't know why they are calling but they keep asking to speak to the parents of my husband. When I tried to inform them that he was married and could I help them blah, blah, blah, they wanted me to verify my address, DOB, kids names etc.  I hung up.
