Junk fax claiming to be from "Our Corporate Travel Department" offering "All Employees" a deal on vacations in Florida and the Bahamas.

1: my business isn't a corporation.
2: I'm the only employee.
3: A useless nitpick, but amusing to me: clip art of a hula girl. No mention of Hawai'i.

Faxed from 334-215-7647.
Info number to call is listed as 1-800-593-5362.

Wonder what the catch is? I'm not curious enough to waste my time calling them, though.

This is junk fax.  I have tried calling the fax list removal number to no avail. Others have suggested calling the toll free 800 line everytime you get a fax and requesting removal.  When I did I got a machine.

It doesn't matter if you call the number - they say they have removed it but it doesn't happen.  For 4 months, every week, I have called and still getting unwanted/spam faxes.  I have tracked down a fax number and just sent an invoice for paper and ink cartridges to be paid immediately :) ... I know it will be ignored, and with my luck the fax number is for some poor schmuck that's scratching his/her head (wrong number) trying to figure out what it is for.

Hello I just called this number today, they did sound really convincing.. everyone talks about wanting to complain because of their telemarketing, but has anyone bought a package ? Did you try buying a package?? I know it sounds too good to be true, but sometimes there are very good deals out there. Were you a victim ? Please advise.

Thanks in advance for your help.

WOW it's funny because after I talked to the lady (LIA) for about 10 minutes, I said to her how do you people stay in business offering such low prices for these vacations, her reply was....you guessed it "UR AN IDOT" and hang up on me.

If this many people says its a scam WTF do you think it is.

Well SCAMMERS you didn't get my CC number.

To "KC" ...

Is your middle name 'Naive'?!?

THERE IS NO "PACKAGE"!!!  Ii it an out-and-out SCAM!  *NO* legitimate business would advertise vial ILLEGAL JUNK FAX (U.S. Code Title 47, Section 227).

But here is the BEST part...  *EVERYONE* who has gotten on e of tehse faces has a slam-dunk case under the above-cited statute, which will get you a MINIMUM of $500 in stautory damages PER FAX -- $1,500 per fax if you can convince the judge that they know what they're doing is illegal (which shouldn't be hard) -- of course, this is all presuming that you can actually track down the scumballs to get them served in the first place (try "John Doe plus 50" at your local Small Claims court)..

I called on this one: A) It isn't a timeshare thing B) It is a scam C) It has been reported to the FCC, but we all need to report it or nothing will get done about it

I read a post of a lady who fell for it. Paid out money, got nothing in return. Credit fraud nightmare for life due to identity theft.

I did some homework: When I called the "Corporate Travel Department" at 1-800-593-5362 to get info. to hang them with it turned out to be: 159.98 pp with taxes, processing, etc...so much for the $99.00 deal. Plus the port taxes are 189.00 per person, including children. AND you pay your own airfare to Florida. You only get the bonus vacation w/roundtrip airfare if you make a reservation. According to Dan at Ext. 208, the company is called "Atlantic Beach Travel" out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida since 1985.

ALL OF THIS IS CRAP ANYHOW....KEEP THIS IN MIND. People are reporting getting ripped off.

So, I checked out the company in a business search in Florida: Atlantic Beach Travel  filed on 3/30/2006 (Registration # G06089900239) and the owners are: Derrick Dennis Fox and Rachel Dianne Fox. Address is listed as: 1113 Hibiscus St., Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.

Whether this "Corporate Travel Department" fax is using a legitimate businesses' name to do their dirty deeds or not I don't know, but BEWARE.

IF IT"S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE......THAT'S USUALLY BECAUSE IT IS! Who would give out credit card info. and then sit and wait for a paper saying you can now make your own hotel reservations for any date you want. BOGUS!

to "C"........about 5 years ago we did this & I have to agree it was a cheap vacation to Florida & we sat through the timeshare "shpeel".  but that was only 90 minutes out of 4 days we got to enjoy being there.  Shortly after that I got a call from another one & was all set to sign up & when I gave them my address it was then they told me I couldn't because I lived in Iowa & these things were illegal in our state.  sure didn't know that when we took the first one.
I have even tried searching out such deals on the net & can't find any because our experience wasn't that bad, they didn't ask for more money, the accomodations were what they said etc.
Maybe there are some good ones out there.
I just got one faxed to our office about the $99 deal for Florida & the cruise.
Like you say......very tempting based on past experience.

This company faxes "Vacation Packages" to places of business; in this case my business is an acute care hospital in North Carolina.  We don't have time for this crap because I believe it to be a scam.

I have called the number 888-533-2975 to have our number removed; only time will tell.

Got this corporate flyer through fax at work. Called and Jessica gave me a story of only  3 left. She kept telling someone in the back that no, dont give it away yet. She might want them all. This sounded too good to be true so while I was talking to her, I asked where they were located and she said in Florida and the name of the travel agency was Atlantic Beach Travels. I googled this and came up with all these comments from you all.
Thank God I did that and also when I called them I blocked my number so now they cant call me back...

LOL:)

Well. They've been in business for at least 3 years now that we know about. Right? They've got to be making money. Which means they are making enough to run an entire business operation.... Which means you are a paranoid idiot. You already knew you wouldn't buy it before you called. So what are you complaining about? You and the rest of these paranoid people (not all of them) just sit your a** right there at home and the rest of the human race with enough intelligence to see that as long as you attend the timeshare meeting, you can get a cheap vacation..... well the rest of the people out there keeping them in business can have a great time in your spot. Ok?

Same story, cannot be removed. They just keep sending faxes. (Like, three years and counting.)
I reported them to the FCC, via the link above.
Took a few minutes, but maybe they'll get to the bottom of their politics and do someting about it someday.
One can hope.

Yup, they used to have a different name.  My husband and I got sucked into it.  I work for a hotel and thought it was an offer just for us employees.  Come to find we were able to get our "package" to Cancun however it was in the worst MOTEL ever and after we paid over $2000 we were not able to get any money back.  It was reported to the BBB and they can't keep up with the travel agent company becuase they keep changing their names.

I'm sure there are some vacation scams out there and this may be one of them but I did buy one of these types of vacations 8 years ago.  Same thing, I got a fax at work and it was $99 per person, 3 days in Daytona and 2 days in Orlando.  The airfair and transpertation was not included. I recieved an agenda and confirmation.  The catch is you have to attend some time share meetings, which last anywhere form 2 to 3 hours and you are obligated to attend in order to get your free nights stay.    We had to attend 2 meetings, one in Daytona and the second at Orlando.  Funny thing, they give you a tour of the timeshare, feed you and try to sell you a unit but your accommodations are never at the timeshare.  My accommodations ended up being at a 1 star roach motel ... don't have to say the name you can guess.  It's not a lavish vacation but it's cheap.  Besides the timeshare meetings it was an ok vacation, we went to the beach and disney.  All in all it was ok but I wouldn't do it again.

Corporate Travel Department offers $99 too good to be true rates for Bahamas cruises, round trip airfaire included.  They faxed me on my private do not call number.

I'm sure it's an automated system.

Report these idiots.  I saw they're still in business although their 'toll free' number keeps changing.

DO NOT CALL THEM TO GET ON REMOVAL LIST.  ANY TOLL FREE NUMBER HAS A PHONE NUMBER CAPTURE BUILT IN AND YOU'LL GET SPAMMED THAT WAY TOO.

Good luck.  Hope you get the b*****ds.
