For years and years these people have called my cell number at all times of the day or night. They ask for Judy Hall. I am not Judy Hall, but they just seem to enjoy harassing me by calling all the time. They are a collection agency. And even though I have written them and called them to ask them to stop, they won't. I am not Judy Hall. Never have been. Never will be.

For years and years, I have been receiving calls from 800 numbers or blocked numbers for someone named Judy Hall. I tell them over and over again..I am not Judy Hall, I never will be Judy Hall. These harassing phone calls come at all times of the day OR night. The callers do not identify themselves. Nor do they remove my number from their listing for Judy Hall.  They all at all hours. It is MY cell phone number and has been since 2008.

I got a call from 800-596-4048, let answering machine take it.  Lady left a msg., said she was from Texas Guaranteed and was looking for a person I never heard of.  I called back and told them I was not the person they were looking for and she said my number would be removed from the so called list.

Just had a call from this number. They asked for my ex daughter in law, who by the way has never lived with me and should not be associated with my number. I asked the woman if they were a debt collector and she said no and that she would remove my number from their system. Weird.

Called today--01/11/12, left a voice mail, to call back 800-596-4048 at "Texas Guaranty,"  Looking for someone who is not me, and who I've never heard of.  (The last name of the person they were calling shares the same last name of someone I had enumerable calls for a couple of years ago--those calls were initiated by a law firm.

This number called my cell looking for my Son who has not lived here for allmost 9 years. They did leave a message and I called back. They claimed to be texas creditor or something like that. The person that anwsered the phone spoke very little english. I told them to remove my number and I hope they did.

I received a call from this number, 1-800=596-4048, on my answering machine. It said that they were trying to update their records, so please call this number. I did. They said hold for the next available person, and then repeated it. Then a machine came on saying that if I need to make a call and hang up and call again.

Has called my cellphone several times everyday, today alone it was 6 times. Sometimes leaves a message, but its not to a real number.

left no voicemail on my cell phone..but called my cell phone at 7pm.

Got a call from them at 7am this morning on my cell phone.  My husband picked up, and after two times of saying "Hello?" from my dear hubby, whoever it was hung up without saying anything.

Got phone call for my son who has not lived here for almost 4 years saying call 888-397-9500   (CRS collection agency I found out)

They said they were from CVCS?? They called THREE times last night and again tonight .. they didn't even ask for me - they asked for someone named Andrew.

they are looking for "Bonnie?"

My roomate received message on our house phone tonight from a lady saying she was from Texas Guaranteed and to please call them back at 1-800-596-4048. First time for this one, but I'm sure they will call again.

Left message representing themselves as Texas Guaranteed Student Loans.  Have repeatedly told them they have the wrong person and they keep harrassing.

I get a call for a "Tami Brown" every day from 800-596-4048.  I have no idea who Tami Brown is, and evidently these geniuses have no clue how to call her either.

That was no accident, he did it to fill up your answering machine. They call my home for my son who no longer lives with us, and talks to another person about why people will not pay there bills. Last about three minutes on the machine.

VM on my office phone from this number.  Caller wasn't aware (I am assuming) that the VM had picked up so I had a lengthy message listening him talk with a co-worker about what chocolates he likes and the size and filling of said co-workers "pimple".  Very professional, especially the smacking as he ate his favorite chocolates.

my phone rang with a random 1-800 number (1-800-596-4048) I answered the phone and the man was telling me he was looking to get in touch with my neighbor and asked me if my name such and such it wasn't my name and it was pretty garbled sounding and even if he really butchered my entire name it couldn't have been that. I asked how he got this number and he told me again he was looking for my neighbor. I told him I didn't know who he was looking for. Then he mentioned something about Maple St. and that freaked me out, because I used to live on Maple St. some years ago. I tried asking him who he was, where he was calling from and how he got my number and he hung up. The call lasted a min and 30 seconds. I called back and it was a pre-recorded message for CBCS, formally CBS. That was the first time they have called me.

This is a company called CBCS, formally CRS, they are a collections company, and very very rude at that.....

This number has been calling for weeks now, sometimes several times a day.  Sometimes there is a number to call left on my voice mail, sometimes not. Today alone I count 6 times they called.  ITs getting annoying

I keep getting this call everyday on my cell phone. Without fail, it occurs different times a day and always has the same message. I have zero outstanding bills, because I don't have any bills! So, if it is some bill collector, someone gave out my freakin number randomly. These 2 minute a day calls though x 30 days a month are using 60 of my monthly minutes!

Same thing...I answered, no reply on other end.  This has been happening more & more with other numbers as well. Yesterday an 800 called my home, I answered, it was a recorded message from PayLess Shoes announcing an upcoming sale..When we purchase things, most cashiers ask for  phone numbers to enter into the computer,  just say no from now on..I know I am!

Answered phone, no reply, could hear background noises.

Same here..they called us at 5:30 am   No one answered, only  a recorded voicemail, we hung up after 3 seconds.

I got the same voice mail message as everyone that said to press 9 or dial 1-800-596-4048.  However, on my caller id, this number was displayed:  1-800-613-4521.

Received an automated voice message on the home answering machine.  It was a woman's voice stating i should select the "nine button to connect for an important business matter. This is not a sales call." This message left no company name or resource person to request to speak to. The number left was "800.596.4048."
