It actually is from Tufts Veterinary Hospital. I have an open account with them and they are just trying to contact someone that owes money for emergency vet bills.  I didn't recognize the number myself but after looking it up it made sense.   I'm on a payment plan with them.  My puppy passed away last spring and the cost trying to save him got up there.. So it's not a scam just possibly a wrong number.

received multiple calls from this number. its from a local hospital (in boston MA), but im not from the area, i live in GA and havent gone to a hospital here. its annoying!!!

got a call from the same number. they said it was tufts medical center, however, why would a boston based hospital call from an 800 number? so fishy....

i have got a few calls from this number.
They leave a message on behalf of a hospital  matter to be cleared up.
I never  had anything to do with the hospital. They want to be called back
Other post include they think it was a legit call from
tufts health center but that is pure scam.

I received the same calls on a cell number.
I think it is a scam.

I do not mind making payments for services, however, I will not continue making payments to Tufts or any other collection service if they do not to post payments to my account.  Furthermore, it adds insult to injury when the collection service debits my bank account and then passes on the account to another collection entity for Tufts.  The end result--I end up having to deal with two collection entities that may or may not know how much monies are collected,etc.  It's over-the-top, unwarranted collection antics!

. . . or it could be a collection agency used by Tufts and other medical providers. My call, at least, was legit, but that doesn't mean others are if this is an independent agency, as collections are the ultimate filth at the bottom of the lawyer barrel.

Also got a call from this number. They called my cell, but no message was left.

This company has called my home a few times.  They say that they are calling from my local Hospital.  Not true.  My local Hospital does not use an unavailable phone number.  Then the person has the never to ask me to give them my Social Security number and to confirm other information.  When asked who they are they do not give out any information about who they really are and what they are calling in reference to.  They do tell you that the phone call my be monitored for and recorded for quality.  Yea sure, they want my personal information but will not give out any information about themselves.  My information is private and I will not give it out to someone I do not know.  I hope others will protect their information as well.
