They took 9.08 on 10/21 and then reversed it.

Took $9.41 from my company credit card. Told MC not to pay.

Charge in VISA card for $9.08 not recognized.  Amount disputed with credit card company and not paid.

Have a charge on my account for $9.34 on Oct. 20, 2008. It shows Mark Silver and this 8006185235 phone number and shows it in MD. Never could figure out what it was, surprised to see others are having it happen to them also. How does someone just charge our accounts without our approval or knowledge? When you call this number is says 'number not in service' of course.

OMG...i just opened my december statement and saw a charge from mark silver 1-800-618-5235 MD for $8.69.  I decided to google when I came across all of you who had the same thing.  This was from my Chase Visa card.  I called the 800 number on my statement and they credited the amount and are filing a dispute. They said since it was a small amount for me just to keep an eye open for any more unauthorized charges but I told them I want a new card entirely because I TRUST NO ONE. So I am guessing this Mark Silver guy has made quite a bit of money but charging peoples accounts here and there just under 10 bucks so people wont notice.  WOW this freaked me out...i feel sick to my stomach right now I am very fearful of credit card fraud.

Mark Silver 800-618-5235 MD Got a credit card charge from Mark Silver.  MD  Unknown to me and a fraudlent charge on my card.  Will dispute and get rid of it.  Not a valid phone number.

I recieved a $9.27 charge om my card too. Never heard of him.

Did any of you buy a book at a Lean Conference?  Mine is a corporate card and I only used it once recently, so I am guessing the number got lifted there.

I have just blocked an account and reissued it for a client...same issue.  This client is no where near MD.  Beware of compromise if you see this charge.

$8.69 was charged to my debit card and my bank is setting me up with a new card now. It was charged as Mark Silver 800-618-5235 MD.

debit card was charged for $8.64. never recieved a call but bank statement said mark silverw with that 800 number. All these little amounts will add up fast!

Reported this to my bank and called this 800 number but says to leave a message

$9.73 charged on 10/30/2008     this is a fraud   ... my bank closed my credit card and issuing new card

Never received or made a call to this number or anyone named Mark Silver, but I was charge $8.28 by him over the weekend of 11/1/08 without any authorization.  I called my bank and they have cancelled my bank card and are reversing the charge since they have verified it was fraud.

I was charged $9.78. However, I never received a call from this number. The charge just appeared on my statement with the phone number related to Mark Silver. My bank is getting me a card with a new number and refunding the charge.
