Comcast lets me block 10 numbers. These people have used up all ten and they can still call me.
JPDouglas 2014-01-29 15:20:18 Unknown
Don't let them gode you into talking too much. Now they know you have a 9 yr old son, and his name.
Sharon 2014-01-15 18:40:42 Unknown
I too am on the do not call list and I get these calls constantly. I am so sick of them and want them to stop!

This company has been calling me off and on for the last two years, message always stating it's my "Last Chance" to lower my interest rate before the next billing cycle. Whatever................I don't answer anymore.

They had called and said there was problem with my master card. The man who said his name was James Willson told me there were charges on my account i did not authorize. He listed what charges were made and where they were made. Gave me a new card and within two days more charges were being made to western union. After reading this... it all makes sense. Do not give out any information to these callers!

The operator told me the company is Advance Data Solutions at 1-800-622-7747. When I said I was on the Do Not Call, they ended the call. They have an opt out button on the phone menu but do not honor it. In fact when I opted out I got three more calls that day. I get 2 to 3 calls a week from this outfit. Like the others I think this is a scam.

I have gotten numerous calls from these people, and finally decided to speak to someone to tell them to stop harrassing me. The guy, who said his name was ALECK SMITH and that he was calling from the mastercard/visa qualification dept, but could not give me any specifics. He was really rude and seemed to delight in making me annoyed.. The number they called me from is 864-213-7092.

I got a similar call and when I tried to get more information from the caller, he spoke over me hounding me for my credit card number. I told him I needed to verify that his company and offer to lower my interest rates were legit. So I asked for a phone number to call him back which he gave along with an extention. I hung up, called the number and...surprise it was not a real number. SCAM!

Total scam, these guys call me every day and I mean EVERY day sometimes two or three times. No idea how but they have my first and last name. Today I spoke with "Michael Reyonalds" for about 20 minuets trying to sound interested and at the same time pump him for information. I asked for a call back number and received 877-672-7747 which is the actual master card number. My caller id displayed a CO. number 303-249-9700 which is obvious a non working number. Tomorrow I'm going to record the call, and waste more of their time...He asked for my card number to get me "verified". I feel bad for seniors who might actually fall for this crap. If anyone has any suggestions how to catch or report them please let me know.

Get lots of these calls, and finally answered one.
say they are "Card Member Services", working with Experian and want to lower card rates. Wanted me to give credit card number to verify card was "in good standing". I refused to give number, and he kept reassuring me how nothing he was asking was sensitive. Hah! Asked for no. to call him back, he said they have several, but finally gave me 800-622-7747. Some type of scary scam!

This is a scam. Don't call back. Don't give them any information.
They have been annoying me on my work cell phone at least a half dozen times in the last couple months or less. Something I signed up for must have sold my number to them. I just don't answer now, still annoyed they keep calling.

I called this number back also and it is mastercard's number, except they aren't calling. It is a spoofed number to get to you. Ignore any 800 # calling you! I don't want to block it, but I will if they keep doing it.
suncitysandy 2012-02-29 21:45:26 Unknown
received this call today and blocked it.
fuschia 2012-02-29 21:28:40 Unknown
The same thing happened to me today. I reported it to the consumer fraud division of the state attorney general's office. What else can be done to stop these calls?
sSD 2012-02-29 19:11:08 Unknown
They called my cell phone, I did not answer, they did not leave a message. Glad I check this site and glad I did not answer.

Is is a scam, Master Card? We reported the phone number to Homeland Security, FCC and FBI. Do not give these people any personal information.

i keep getting phone calls from this company w/ something about "lower interest rates" despite being on national do not call registry. when i finally spoke with a person he declined to give me his name, the state where his company is located and was rude. i dont know how to make them stop calling.

I want these calls to stop, period!
HHUN 2012-02-29 16:36:15 Unknown
No I wouldn't do that because they told one caller "Don't you know the more you answer our call the more we call you?" I found this to be true as I used to answer their call and mess with them, ask them to take me off call list, or scream at them when they woke me up. Each time regardless of what I said they hung up on me and never removed me from their list. So I stopped answering their calls and when I see them calling from one of their 100 numbers (800 numbers and all different area codes) I just turn off my answering machine so that it won't register as a "picked up call" on their end. I just let it ring and then it stops. The calls have decreased since I stopped answering and since I turn off my answering machine when they call. They still call about once a week, but it's better than the 4 -5 times per week that they were calling. My advice is to not even answer it and play games. Just ignore the call. I would love to answer and blow an airhorn in their ear...LOL....but it's not worth the hassle of them ringing my phone more often.

Keep in mind that the info on your caller id can be FORGED. There is NO guarantee that anything you read on the caller id is legitimate. So even if your caller id says MASTER CARD, it doesn't mean it's really them. The only way to know you are talking to Master Card is for you to take the number on the back of your Master Card and call it yourself!
