thank God you have them, in Canada i served in first airbourne we landed at somalia and got our a***s kicked we were killed , i did five men to get out, I dont forget that. I got discharged. apperently we can not use our weponds.

Just got a call from them..I thought maybe I could sign up, but I guess I am too old at 38. I guess I waited too long. I also have a college degree which would put me in line for OCS. God Bless the Marines!!! My aunt was stationed in Okanawa for a while as a Marine. They are the best of the best... and I hope they are always here to defend our country.

yeah, i just got a call today, kinda weird. i totally agree with snowman on this, im 17 and in school, so why do they call during school hours?? wish i coulda answered it though. does anyone know what they say? is it a person or an automated machine?

I recieved a call from this number during school today. (In High School) Phone was on vibrate when it happened, checked the number just did not answer. I'm not complaining, because I did give them my cell number, just thought that they would have figured that I'm 17 and that I am in school monday-friday 8am-3pm.

My phone rang on Friday evening (9/25/09).  CID 800-627-4637.  I answered when I heard "U.S. Marines" and then the call disconnected.

No message, no caller ID. I doubt the Maries are using this number still.

Called my cell phone (I have limited minutes!) to recruit for the Marines.  I asked them to remove my number from the list and to not call again.  The following morning, I received another call from them on the same cell phone.  When I saw what the number was on my cell phone display, I did not answer.
