Company is called Global Alarm Company. If you are on their list of people to call in case of an emergency then put their number in your phone so the caller ID come up properly and you answer the call.

If you know it is a legit company, then why are you searching to see what the company name is?????

I have an alarm system in my home and I keep the number they call from handy (they actually call me on my cell). Each time they call, they tell me they are calling police to respond unless I am at home. This number, 800-631-2299 called my home, and never mentioned calling the police. It is completely different from the number I keep handy. IF THIS IS A LEGIT ALARM MONITORING SERVICE, THEY POLICE SHOULD ARRIVE SHORTLY AFTER I FAIL TO ANSWER WHEN THIS NUMBER APPEARS ON MY CALLER ID!

I got a call from this number at 4:30 AM this morning. They are not my alarm system company. I was told that my alarm timer's notified wasn't working and that they were going to inform my alarm company. Their name did not appeared on my Caller ID. I have never heard of this company and I have never done any business with them before.

Just called at 5:20 am!!!!!! Seriously?

Called me at 7:00am this morning; no one spoke. I hung up. Annoying.

This is a legit alarm monitoring company. not sure what your beef is with them, but they call in case of emergencies with the alarm system. and I reached this page to see what the company name was, out of curiosity.

I got a call from this alarm company, reporting an irregularity from a business. Only probem is, I am no longer an employee of this business and have not been for 4 years. I requested to be removed from their "CALL:list
but they tell me that the head of the business has to make the correction. Clearly they are working from an out of date notification list, but this really isn't my problem.

Got a call from this number 3 times now since last night and haven't answered it. They never left a message. I do not have an alarm system. I do not intend to answer. I am calling them from another number and it says Internet Marketing Research Department. It gives 2 options. Be taken off their list or talk to a rep.

Just got the call at midnight . I never answer it. My company uses the service for our alarm. If your getting the call it means you are listed on their call log. They usually have three names. They call them in order....I'm number 1 then my Asst manager and then another enoloyee. We are given a password to use. I always ignore and let the

l have notified the police, the better business bureau, and the fcc about these calls we have our own security system and we dont need the extra aggrivation,,, one more call and l will take this to the limit to get this company to pay BIG TIME

This number called me at 10:30 pm at night.  I don't answer 800 numbers.   If this an alarm company as previous posts have stated, it is a hoax because I don't have an alarm company.

They are called SHILLS.  They are a part of the game and they post here to boost the legitimacy of the caller.  They stand out like a sore thumb and no one should really take them seriously. They are here to give false confidence to those who are naive enough to believe them. It's kind of pitiful when you think about it.

How is it possible that anyone is on this site defending the caller? I could u it if someone stepped  up and said it was their business. But it makes so sense that there are innocent bystanders on this page defending the caller. How did thy end up on tis page if nt to reasearch a criminal call? I think the crooks are posting on here to legitimize the calls. Btw my call came in at 4:36 am and I didnt answer - hey left no message. All legit alarm companies leave messages.

At the time they called they probably woke you...they may have been asking if you have a home ALARM or business ALARM and in your sleepy state heard it as loan. It isn't spam.  Just an FYI if they ever call again.  Read my post for more info.

You should answer this call. Save it in your contacts. If not your alarm, someone you know, love or who trusts you has put you down as a contact for their "alarm monitoring".  If the alarm on the building where work goes off, there are a sequence of people who are called...they want to be sure that if there is a security breach that you are aware, know who might have entered the building or they call the local authorities/Sheriff's office and dispatch a deputy for a safety check. To avoid dispatch you must know a security pass code.  This isn't spam, it isn't a telemarketer...it's important. They call at ANY hour the alarm is tripped. If not your alarm, ask the address or name of who put you down as a contact, so you can follow up with them.

They call randomly. I returned the call and got a live person. I asked her to removed my number from their system since I did not have an account with central monitoring systems. She asked for my number and said "they" had this number as a contact for a contract but that she would take care of it. We'll see.

This is the security system monitoring station. They will call your number whenever an alarm has been triggered.

They call whenever our alarm system goes off to make sure that everything is ok. If not they send police.

This is an alarm company Central Station Monitoring.  They call all hours telling you your alarm is going off.  We told them we do not have an account with them and they still call.

They say they are a monitroing station.  But when asked what companies tjhey monirtor for, the caller could not name them...Soemthing seems to wierd about this...

This morning they called my job--a government agency--with whom they have no contract.

Just got a call at 12:42AM from Central Station - googled it thinking maybe one of my friends was calling from Grand Central Station. Glad I didnt pick up and they didnt leave a message but seriously 12:42AM are they nuts? Dont have an alarm, we have dogs! Thank heavens for caller-ID!

It's a monitoring service like J Donut said.  If you have an alarm system and something sets it off, it alerts this company, they'll call you, you give them the passcode and they'll know you're the owner.  If they can't get the passcode, they send the police to check it out.

that would explain why the called me in the middle of the damn night. Grrrr...
