just paid dealer payment . was called by westlake next day 15 times for 5 days about them not recieveing payment, they suck and i will refinance tosome other a***ole refinance company, but as long its my choice

Why do you not change the payment date to coincide with your payday? I have also had no problems with these guys and have just sent in my last payment. Never got any calls cos I paid the note when it was due...I even shortened the number of installments from 26 to 24 by paying more when I could afford to. They are okay as long as you are current and on time. It is however unfortunate for those whose relatives put them dowm as references without their knowledge and now they have to endure these calls. Might be a good start to get those relatives and ask them to take your name off the documents!

Some guy named danny calls me every week and trys to get in contact with one of my old roomates.  I think they are trying to collect a debit.  All I got out of them was that they are in California and work for some company called Westlake.

Received a messsage on answering machine that I couldn't understand most of the message. The caller id displayed unknown name, unknown number. The message asked me to please call back about a family member emergency medical issue.  I just deleted it because I know if my wife or I had a family member emergency, our cell phones would be the first contact point.  The next day, receive another message and caller id displayed unavailable with # 800-641-6700.  Message asked me to please call back, gave an account reference number and it was in regards to a medical emergency of a family member and gave the name of my ex-wife.  This really made me suspicious because I had just visited with my son and his mother was perfectly fine.  I have read on the internet that this phone # is for Westlake Financial - they are trying to collect a debt.  She bought a car at a cheap car place and may not be making payments.

Got a call today for a friend of mine-the guy had a heavy accent and said that she needed to call him back-he said his name was Ronald, then changed it to Rosco later on in the conversation! He wanted her personal info and when I refused to give it out he said "What you don't want to help out your friend?". I told him I was a social service assistant and I was trained to not give out personal info-he even wanted to know where she lived! I told him that I would give her his number and have her call him back. He wouldn't even tell me who he represented. I asked what it was about and he mentioned that he had to talk to her before he made a decision! lol This guy really thought I was going to give out my friends private info! His number came up on the caller ID as 323 323 and he gave me the 800 number later on! lol There was no way I was going to give him anything! He was way to fishy!!

i do have a loan with westlake they start calling a week before payment is due. I  have wired payment thinking they would get it faster they still call. i have 5 months left on loan and can not wait to be done with them . never i repeat never finace with them,. you could pay them early and they will still call you about something and it is always threat 1800-641-6700

i haven't made apayment on my truck cuz it's broke down n i'm no longer working cuz i don't have transportation n i can't afford 2 get truck fixed so i told em to come n pick it up but they keep calling wanting money i don't have n won't be able 2 pay when im a single mom with 3 kids to support can just imagine how i'm doing there...like they could give a damm!

My sister gets these calls every other week from 800-641-6700. Once they speak to someone that "slips" and says that they know who the caller is trying to reach, they will continually call. I told them if they called me again, I'd call the cops. Harrassment is against the law. It's not my fault one of my relatives didn't pay their bills on time. My sister doesn't live with us, but somehow we keep getting calls for her, since my mom told them we were related. If you get a call asking for information about someone you know, tell them anything except that you KNOW that person. I hung up on them and they called back, even after i hung up on them 6 times in a row. Finally, we let the answering machine get it. Screen your calls after you hang up on them, they will call again. But they are just a bunch of low-life cold-callers. They show up at my house and I'll give em whats for!

had 2 phone calls, maye more I took the phone off the hook so to speak, in the middle of the night, 3am eastern time, heard a beep only, the 2 calls were 10 minutes apart. Take a course in reading comprenhension. Because you have not had any problems with this company, does not make things right! My vehicle was purchased from a dealership in So. California, that is now CLOSED. CORRECTION, closed down by the DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES. By the way Ms. Know-It-All, Westlake Financial Services, had attempted to overcharge me, for my final payoff. I (we) do not need your support, nor your ridiculous analogy of various circumstances. OMG!! That's Westlake for you. I use to work for them but not for the collections department and they are the rudest people. They call you everyday no matter what. If you have caller id DONT ANSWER them. Thats my advice to you. Because once you answer and give them your name or your time they will keep bugging you over and over again!!! ANNOYING PEOPLE!! All they want is to hit there GOALS for the month..

Got a call on my cell from RESTRICTED. Person left a voicemail stating they wanted to talk to ME regarding a decision on (3rd party, relative) truck. The caller left a number (800-641-6700 x3269). Not calling back, not my problem, but am letting third party relative know they've called. He says he returns their calls, but I don't know that he has.

My car note is due on the 15th I ALWAYS pay on the 20th (PAYDAY) from the 16 until the 20th I receive very rude messages and excessive calls and one guy keeps leaving me messages like "Grow up and pay your bill." "Stop playing games" they even called my employer who supported me and used profanity to them. Keep in mind my employment is a HUGE non-profit so you already know this was sent to their attonerys. I have had this account for 18 months can't these idots see the consitancy of my payments..

I havent had any problems with them....for those of you with an account with them..are you paying your payment on time?  This is a subprime lender for car loans for people with bad credit.  I'm not supportive of threats or rudnesss..but if you pay them on time they wont be calling you at all...as for looking for people you dont know..you have a valid complaint.

called 6/24 and 6/25/09. Very rude. Keeps calling for a relative. I asked caller to identify himself and his company. Asked for me, I told him I would not identify myself until he told me who he was. This went back and forth several times. I hung up. He called back said he would just keep calling. Shows up as private on caller id

Funny... they keep calling me looking for someone I don't even know.  I have never answered the phone always goes to V/M.  I thought about calling them back, but then thought again.  That would only stir the pot I think.

Each time they call it's a different person w/a different extension.  Of course the person leaving the message isnt the greatest of people.  Always saying I HAVE to call them back, I NEED to call them back, this MATTER NEEDS TAKEN CARE OF... etc.

they called me to trying to find a relative of my husband.  The scum that i spoke to was absolutly the rudest person and should not be working in any form of person to person field.  Apparently all he can find work for is to harass others.  I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the Attorney General.

they use other phone numbers to so be aware they disguise where they are calling from by piggy backing on local phone numbers in your area. I found this out by mistake, they called my number and actually left message on machine but before i checked message i called the local number and it was an older gentleman. Asked him if he had just called my phone number and he said no and i explained to him that i just got a call from this no. you may want to know someone is using your number to call people with. So be warned. 323 is another one they use.
