I keep getting  called from companies like this when I'm not shopping for insurance... why do they keep bugging me?

The insurance company is 21 Century. Just tell em to remove your number, otherwise they can be fined.

calls repeatedly without saying anything. I am a student in college and this is disrupting my classes and my studies. I also am on a DO NOT CALL list but that does not seem to be doing anything for me.

I do not wish this company to call me any longer.

I too filled out an online insurance quote thingy last night, and today I keep getting calls from this number. The quote is over twice what I already pay. S****y company.

Obviously I did the auto insurance thing too. I'm actually getting voicemails though. The first said " (my name" are you there?....Click" and the second, mere seconds ago since I just googled the number and wound up here, said ".... can't get a damn person on the phone..."

Sounds like this guy needs a change of career.

I too was checking on auto insurance and tenant insurance on line and got called by someone from 1-800-642-4098.  Now that I know it is from that company, I will not answer their calls.

Like everyone else, I was responding to an online (free car insurance quote). Within minutes my phone rang displaying 800-642-4098. When I answered there was silence on the other end. I called the number back. It was electronically answered as Twenty-First Century Insurance. I was directed to please hold while the next available representative could take my call. I just hung up having learned the source of this enigmatic nuisance.

Same thing,calls first thing in the morning, no message. This is bogus. I as well have been searching the net for cheaper insurance. I wouldn't even think of dealing with them now, very unprofessional.

I get at least 3 -4 calls a day from this #. I have been looking at online car and health insurance quotes. I never answer the calls, but would sure like to stop them. I am on the do not call list

This number keeps calling my cell phone and hanging up - I too am researching online car insurance quotes, but it has been almost twice a day, and there's always silence on the phone and the call disconnects.

This number called my cell, I believe it was from an online insurance quote.  Very unprofessional, I said hello then he said hello then he just hung up on me.  All the quotes I got were more than twice what I'm paying now, probably because they are paying to call and harass people.
