When they call me now, I pick up and immediately press and hold down a key, making a loud tone that hopefully sounds like a fax to them... and maybe they'll stop calling.

They are a horrible company that should be fined a large sum of money.  They have their automated phone solicitor calling me every day for the last 2 months!  ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

This number called our office over 125 times in a 24 period. When I called the number the customer service person was very unhelpful

You can register land line phones and cell phones.
Your registration will not expire. Telephone numbers placed on the National Do Not Call Registry will remain on it permanently due to the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007, which became law in February 2008.
 

Then file a complaint with them, if enough people do this the caller/callers get contacted by the Federal Trade Commission. The phone calls will stop.

Just complaining or leaving messages here without contacting the ?National Do Not Call Registry? is a waste of time and doesn?t help anyone stop this caller harassment.

Register on the ?National Do Not Call Registry? then report all your telemarketer calls there also.

If you listen to the whole message, they tell you to call the 800-644-0296 number if you are interested. I did and they have an option to be removed from their list, I think it's 8-0 that you have to dial. You leave a message including all of your business phone numbers... they say it will take 72 hours to be removed. We will see, I am tracking it.

These people have persisted in calling MANY times even after my number has been on the Do Not Call Registry for well over a month. I report them, but the calls just keep coming. :(

Same thing. Had a business landline installed and Embarq gave the number to every scumbag company out there. YES, we already accept credit cards!

I recently had a business phone installed and the phone company released my number to every telemarketer on the planet! I have had incessant calls from this particular number and about 20 more within the past 3 days.  All to sell me merchant services and credit card machines.  And they DON'T take NO for an answer!

This is a solicitation to buy a credit card machine.

Some type of telemarketing... I hung up.
