Who are these a***oles, continuously calling my number?  I'm reporting them to the FCC!  This is pathetic!!!!

They just called here again.  Even though they are blocked, I still reported them to the Do Not Call list...even though that doesn't do any good.

They just called here, but their number was already blocked on our digitone.  Thank god for that thing!

A few days ago my neighbor received a phone call from a company claiming to be CBCS, scouting information on me. My neighbor took down the information. Told them NOT to call him back, and he gave me the information. Coincidentally that same day I received an "Compromised Account" notification from my e-mail provider. Two days later, these guys call my cell phone with a "local" number and use an automated system to inform me that they believe I owe them money.

I looked up CBCS the other day after my neighbor informed me these guys called him looking for my information. According to the BBB they are a rated F company, and were sued several years ago for trying to collect debt that wasn't valid. They appear to be crooks.

My suggestion is if you owe something call the originating debt holding first to check the validity. Obviously if they show no issues, or can not provide you with that information. Make sure it does not appear on your credit report. With their status as a debt collector they have the 'right' to report it to credit bureaus... HOWEVER if they are inaccurately reporting the debt they are up for a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit AGAIN.

Recieved a call and the lady would not give her name just said she was calling on a personal business matter when I asked her what it was about she refused to give me information.  They are trying to get personal information.

These people called my home phone number demanding to speak to my girlfriend wanting to collect a debt. She has no debts due to a recent bankruptcy. I Googled this number and the results were very suspicious. They gave no identification.

I AM SICK OF COLLECTION AGENCIES CALL MY HOME NUMBER FOR TAMMY M OR A TERRY M( MALE)  THIS ONE COMES IN PLEASE HOLD I HELD FOR 6 TIMES OF THEM SAYING IT AND HUNG UP.  IF I GET IT AGAIN I AM TURNING IN FOR HARRASSMENT.

Wow! I can't believe all the ppl who've had calls from this same number! I also am current on all of my bills yet have received calls from this number several times. I hung up on them everytime. This time I decided to see who they were and when an operator finally picked up on the other end they asked for someone named Jodi Burnett. That's not me!

Call my cell phone once a day for weeks. Always asking me to hold. Tried to call from home phone, it was not during business hours. No identification on pick up. Will continue to call as I hope to ring up lots of charges for that 800 number.

THey are very stupid and should just give up the nonsense .they call you every damm day.well i just click off on them but its still a pain that the phone even rings when this number calls lets stop these pain in the ***es.

This Bob Jones left message in my answering machine. In the message he stated he was from CBCS to collect Debt and he left this call back number. We never have any debt.

they call my house all the time! they will call at 845pm when all the kids are in bed..its not me they are looking for so i decided to call them back to tell them to stop calling me! no one by the name of D. Raymond lives here.they even gave the account number as a refrence.does this mean anyone could have my information??.i have yet to talk to anyone i have been waiting for 2 hours and 4 min...im so very annoyed with thease people! i would like to get a e-mail address so i could send a little note to them. you would think if it was a debt collector they would have people to pick up the phone right away so they could get their money..ah lets make them wait..idiots!! still waiting!!!

I picked up the phone and I thought the recording said "Ed Jones" and something about debt collection.  I have worked hard to repair my credit, so I don't want any delinquent accounts (thought maybe it was a forgotten student loan or something...), so I called back and was immediately put on hold.  I cleaned, showered had a cup of coffee and did dishes, all the while on hold for an hour.  I even checked my credit, which was fine.  I have no idea what kind of scam this is or how asking people to call you and then putting them on hold can benefit anyone?  Weird.

they called my tracfone. Didn't answer because this number is not given out and I don't let spammers have the minutes. Interesting is that nobody but Tracfone should have my name.

This is some kind of collection agency and I DO NOT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING.  They keep calling for my ex-daughter-in-law.  She keeps making bills and sending the address as here the &^$%&^&^(*% hole.

I received a call from this number, a recorded voice asked me to hold and was then hung up on. I called back, got a recorded message asking me to hold and was then hung up on again. What gives?!?

Is this a new tactic for collection agencies? as those are the only ones I would know who could be so STUPID!  A woman called from that number and this is what she said. ON MY ANSWERING MACHINE!  " IF THIS IS NOT E...DAY THEN PLEASE DISCONNECT THIS CALL...SINCE YOU DID NOT DISCONNECT YOU ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THAT YOU ARE E..DAY"    And of course the answering machine did not disconnect the call as she said.........lolololol well this is not e..day  so let them waste their time.

I received a call (first time) from that number. A female voice asked me to "hold for an important message". In a few seconds, another (or same) female voice came on and asked for a person who actually used to live here. I told her the person didn't live here and she hung up.

I received a call just like this from this number.  They hung up on me, and then after I called back they put me on hold again, and hung up again.

Why?  I wonder if somehow your position can be triangulated through a call to your cell phone.  I also wonder why websites that do reverse phone look up do not have any listings for this particular number.

I have just received a call from CBCS claiming I owe a debt to Verizon.  I advised that according to my credit history and Verizon there is no debt owed, but they keep insisting.  My home number in unlisted so how they got a hold of my home number and cell I do not know.  I am on the Do Not Call List and am going to file a complaint with them as they do not identify themselves and all you get is a robo message telling you to call them back.  Do not give out any personal information and also keep insisting that you do not owe a debt to anyone.

This is the second agency I have been contacted from within one year regarding the same debt.  I sent a fax to the prior to this one and they stopped harrassing me.

These people just left a message on my answering machine asking me to "please hold for an important message"....and the recorded voice said it 3 times then hung up!  I don't know how they think a machine will hold for them, lol.

They just called here, asking for my room mate.  As far as we know, everything is paid up!  A lot of people here are saying that they are scammers, con-artists and I'm tending to believe that.  I went to their website and I just LOVE the testimonials...from a "utility company" to a "financial company", yet the names of the companies ARE NOT THERE!  ANYONE could have put those "testimonials" up.  Since our phone allows us to block callers, they will be going on the block list.  I let the answering machine answer and it was that robot caller crap.  When they said "If you are not so and so, then please hang up", I picked up the phone and hung up.  This is getting stupid!  Something really needs to be done about these CROOKS!  Technically, they can only call once a day and if they do anymore then that, then it is considered HARASSMENT...at least in New York State!  QUIT CALLING MY HOUSEHOLD LOSERS!!!!

Received robot call from 800-649-0690 saying to call & give account number, attempt to collect a debt. Have no outstanding debt that we're behind paying on. Tried to call the number back to warn them don't call again, we won't respond to ANYTHING unless it's in writing with proof- got recorded message office was closed. P.S.- received the robot call after their office supposedly closed. If they contact us again we'll file a complaint with the Attorney General in our state. Do these leaches think we're stupid? We know our rights under the fair credit laws.
