I also am a church secretary in Winter Haven, Florida.  We receive "dead" calls from this 800 number at least 2 to 3 times a week.  Nobody answers.  I have called this number back and left "messages" with them.  Unfortunately, they do not react to their messages.  Even though this is a church office, I left them a scathing message a few minutes ago.  No profanity, but as much as I could with that.  I wish they just knew how frustrating and irritating it is to receive blank phone calls when a person is attempting to get things done in the office.  Let's all hope these "folks" get their plug pulled --- and soon.

Keeps calling.  Then hangs up.  Most annoying as our school phone line is busy enough, thank you very much!  I have calle and left numerous messages to cease calling, but to no avail.

I try to be nice...but telemarketers that call churches when we are in the middle of arranging a funeral, offering comfort to the sick or bereaved, being in the middle of meeting with the pastor..it's extremely annoying and wish they all would stop. Have no interest in doing business with people who are annoying!

Some man called my school today from this number and was totally rude to our secretary because she refused to interrupt my lesson to call me to the phone. Wouldn't give his name to her.

Calls our church and they hang-up on us.  Return the call and it goes into their voice mail immediately. Harrassment calls.

Wanted to talk with someone about fundraising but would not identify themselves, what company they were with, or give a callback number. Amateurish phishing expedition.

We are a small church. They seemed shocked that our Youth Director only works Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. They don't have office hours then.

I agree! I am a secretary for a church too and they have called a lot lately and does the same, just hangs up! It gets rather annoying!

Yes, wanted to know what We used for fund raising. I said, "Tithes and offerings, like in the bible". He hung up.

"Peter" called wanting to talk to our youth pastor (requested the name of the full time pastor).  When I asked for a return call number, he laughed and said that he would but he's not allowed to use his cell phone and he couldn't leave the number.  I have caller ID and know he wasn't calling from a cell, but from 800-649-4599.  When I asked what company he was calling from he laughed again and wanted to know why.  Suddenly he couldn't hear me and said, "I guess I'll have to call her back" with "hello" being said in between.  Very teenish.  I went to the web site reccommended but the "contact us" tab is disabled.  I'm reporting them to the BBB and our local association.  This is harassment and needs to be handled as such.

Thank you to the kind person who posted the name of this company. They call our church office almost daily. We have one phone line with call waiting, so their dead air calls take up our time and annoy the people trying to talk to us about church business. We're reported them to Do Not Call.

At least you got to talk to someone! EVERY TIME they call, they immediately hang up. I have never spoken to a living person from that number. VERY frustrating!

Had a phone call here this morning from 1-800-649-4599. When I answered the phone he asked for a youth director i told him they were not in at the moment can i take a message. The man started laughing at me as if I told a joke or something. This is not the first time and this is a Church! I hope that you can rectify this problem or give me a solution.

Thanks Father Tom, I have told them to take our number off but got the web sight you posted and wrote them.  As everyone is saying, "we'll see."  Oh and jc, I think you are right, listen to their program one time and if I were fortunate to have a youth group I would use their services.  But they could use some help in the marketing department.

I do work at a church. They call here quite often and ALWAYS hang up. If their main target customers are churches, why do they hang up when I answer???

I work in a elementary school and get these calls at least twice a week.  Usually it just hangs up but today was different.  Today someone was actually on the other end but then he rudely hung up when I told him our fundraising person was not here.  Thanks to the wonderful person who posted the number, I called them back and told the person who answered I don't appreciate rudeness and to take us off of their list.  We'll see if the calls stop coming.

They call multiple times a day without leaving a message - ugh!  This is a church office and we don't have time to answer junk sales calls.

i'm a coach and i think the thing they offer is unique.  they should work out the problems you all mention above, but their product is actually pretty good.

Got a call from this number and the guy was asking to speak to our youth director. When I told him she was in a meeting, could I take a message, he didn't respond...he just hung up on me. RUDE!!! I don't want to do business with anyone like this, so I called them back, and got a voicemail message. Then I found this website and saw what Tom said (above) and called  (www.asuperiorcard.com, 888-542-2737) and spoke with a person in charge of the church division, and he wanted to know what time the person called, and my number. He said he could search who called my number and he would handle the rudeness "situation" and would put us on a do not call list.
