NCC (Nationwide Credit Corporation) - 1-800-651-3098 Calling daily multiple times asking to speak with a person who does not exist and saying it is about a "confidential matter". These fraudulent debt collectors scam, threaten, and manipulate unsuspecting victims about a debt not even owed in the first place. These con-artists have been prosecuted for bilking millions of dollars from innocent people.  Do not give out any personal information (social security number, date of birth, name, address). Ignore the calls and report them to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau.

I get this call and it shows up as a different number and the caller asks me to call "Kim Rogers" back.  Who is this?

My husband has been getting these calls at his mothetrs place of residence. His credit is outstanding so It's total BS.

It's actually illegal to talk to anyone BUT the person they're trying to collect from.  At least, if they're mentioning specific amounts owed, etc.

This number has been blacklisted from my phone.

Same as mentioned in the thread here; i.e. "Ms Duffer; personal business matter", etc. I have been getting called daily at around 0930 for months. Getting real sick of it, as I get up at 0430 every day of the week, and Saturday is my sleep-in day, until I get these people calling me.

I've been getting calls from this number too.  They spoke to my 11 year old son and fortunately he was smart enough not to answer any questions.  It should be illegal to talk to a minor if this is in fact debt collection calls.  And, I have no outstanding debts so it's ridiculous.

I don't pick up up calls from UNKNOWN NAME/UNKNOWN NUMBER so they drop to voice mail.  An auto voice left a message with the reference to Miss DUFFER and the number listed above, 1 800 651 3098, EXACTLY as described above.  

What a load of crap.  What's wrong with the federal government, they plainly have no clout and no interest in actually STOPPING this kind of thing from happening--otherwise they'd shut these jerks down and fine them...HEAVILY.  

If they're coming after me for unpaid bills, they're barking up the wrong damned tree, too.  I pay my bills up front--no credit here.

I'm guessing this is some a** who has bought up a bunch of unpaid debts, or is collecting them for a percentage of the total take.  What this a** is NOT doing is CHECKING to verify if the person who owes the bill is the person they're calling.  They are probably using some b***s*** directory service and calling any name that appears "close."

I got a call exactly as described as above... said it was not a sales call, asked me to call "Miss Duffer" at the 800 number. A guy picked up who read out two ladies names and asked if they were at this number. I said "no" then he said he'd remove them, thanked me and hung up. Number on the caller ID was 703 642 7500.
