I had called an ADT Security phone number a month ago for information on home security systems. Then the anonymous phone calls started....After repeated calls from this number 800-657-2717 , with no one answering on the other end, I called, they identified themselves as Protect America and I asked to be placed on their do not call list, an hour later got an anonymous call with no phone number revealed, same thing, no response when I said hello. They stayed on the line for a couple minutes then hung up.

My company was interested in a new alarm system so I actually did request call-backs for quotes from several alarm companies and Protect America was one of them. The only problem was that for almost two weeks I got nothing but dead-air calls from several of their 800 numbers, lousy way to do business if you ask me. In that time I was able to arrange visits and get quotes from several decent companies and sign a contract with one of those companies while still getting dead-air calls from these clowns. I finally got this link to be removed. I requested removal today...whether it works only time will tell http://www.protectamerica.com/pa/do-not-call

It's Protect America, a home security company. I called them back to see who it was. They also call from 800-951-5149.
