I agree with you statement to an extent. Sometimes it is not because the person is a"DEADBEAT".  There are many people out of work doing the best they can. You should not call people names when you don't know their situation. I am  lucky both my husband and myself are still working but he has had to take several pay cuts and possible another one. So you see everyone is not a "DEADBEAT".

they called and asked if i applied for a target card (NO)
then they said to verify that i am who i really am, I should give them my address
i think its a scam to try to get my correct address so that someone can apply for a target card under my name
i called target (asked my friend for the tel # on the back of her card) and they said thats not a target #

They called me at 1:30 in the morning! No msg, nothing. Blatant disregard for the law. My credit w/Target is always paid on time or early--I don't get it!

They cal 3-5 (or more) times a day ande NO ONE says anything,

I also get about ten calls a day from this number and when I answer they ask for a person by first name then hang up. I don't have a TARGET card, but when I do a reverse lookup on the number it says it is owned by Target.  I pay cash so why are they calling me then hanging up.  Maybe a call the the California Attorney Generals office might  to report TARGETS 800 number as abusive might be in order.

Just made a payment but the calls come in at least 5 times a day. My Mom has cancer and I'm disable.

I guess I should just cut up the card.

It was Target.  We did not pay our small monthly payment.  We may have forgotten.  I am not certain.  We are paying it this Friday and they are reversing the late fee.  :)..

They are checking identity - looking for someone? I asked her not to call me, so far they called me two times after that.

This 800 number called me several times a day too.  I answered the phone and there was nobody on the other end. After I tried of answering the calls from this number, it left me a very long silent message in my voicemail.  It was so annoying.  These calls ran up my cell phoen minutes.  I finally called Target today and spoke with a customer service person named John.  He was so harsh.  I couldn't believe Target has a horrible customer service.  They don't listen to  their customer.  I will definitely close my RED bleeding Target account asap.

I sometimes get 10 calls a day from this number but it shows up on my caller id as "unavailable".  I do answer these calls but I speak before they have a chance to and say  You have reached an unavailable number.  Someone at this number will become available as soon as you do.  They always hang up on me.  While I am unemployed due to a layoff and am having some difficulty paying my bills, I do answer the phone when companies called with an identified number and try to work out something to get them paid.  I am not a dead beat just someone who has been unable to find employment for over a year.  Most collection calls are made by people just doing their job and I know, I used to be one of them.  I did collections for 30+ years and was always polite and tried to be helpful, but there is a new breed of people out there who are rude and abusive.

Check with your phoen company.  I have Cox communications for phone etc.  With them you dial *60.  Listen for the prompts, dial #01# and it blocks the number.  Again, check with your phone service provider and see what they have available.  This number calls me constantly.... pain the the butt!  Good Luck!

Calls several times a day, EARLY morning calls. Don't know who it is and I just pick up the receiver and hang right back up. Wish there was a way to BLOCK the call...

they are calling me every hour starting at 8am - 9pm 7 days a week
i'm making $10 a month payments on a $200 cc bill - recovering from brain aneurysm/stroke, and now living in assisted living facilty until getting back on my own.
they wont stop calling; driving me crazy

This number keeps calling me nonstop and leaving me voicemails. Whenever I answer they don't say anything and when I call back it sends me to recording asking for my account number. I DON'T EVEN SHOP AT TARGET !

Received 4 calls today! That's harassment no matter what it's for!

I dont owe Target a penny, dont have a credit card with them. Yet I get this call daily and when i pick up, no one is there.

This is Target and they will continue to call until your payment posts.

my soon to be ex is running up her bills and not paying anyone of them and she has given all bill collectors my work cell number......pretty annoying and the target call center are some rude mofos.
i explained them over and over and even gave them my ex number,who offcourse always lets every

This phone number is from Target National Bank. Reminding you for an overdue payment or attempting to collect a debt. Pay up, deadbeat! Of course they don't care if they violate the law by charging usary & "fees" that President Obama has now outlawed.

Funny, you say "if you pay your bill, then they won't call you", but YOU must of recieved a call from them too otherwise you wouldn't be on this page looking up the number to see who it belongs too. So how about before you criticize others and act 'All Mighty'. You might want to follow your own advise. Furthermore there are people right now unemployed &  NOT just wanting to pay bills. Some can't right now.

They keep calling my 12 year old daughter's cell phone and we don't even have a stupid Target credit card ~grrrr~

Pay your bill on time and they won't call you.

They called me ever 30 minutes...under the fair debt collection act they can not call repeatedly..they call me again im calling my lawyer
