I got a text message to call this number (under the identity of ATT)  that my Berkshire Bank credit card was blocked. I don't have a bank account from them, don't even know where this bank is I am guessing NY. This bank isn't even in the region I live in!

Said bank card was frozen. Said to call 800-665-9965 to repair account. Was sent via text.

I got a very similar message on 2/13, 4:22 pm:  (9176291546) S U N T R U S T SLZZalert 373942. Please call 8006659965

A search of the 917 # said NY origin.

I DO bank with Suntrust, so this was scary!  Thankfully it was from an unverified sender, so i didn't worry.

it is a scam.I called my banks
also another was that MSN and Yahoo messengers were also in need of updated or they would be deleted

I received this message yesterday. Called the bank directly and they couldn't tell me if there was a problem with my account. Then got put on hold and never came back. I got a message today from 303-720-7420 that said S-U-N-T-R-U-S-T, B-A-N-K. ALERT PLEASE CALL (303).-720.-7420. If you look there is dashes and parenthses in the message. They never send it that way. Also SUNTRUST adivor said that there would be an alert to what it is and there would be the last 4 digest of the card or account in question. If you call they will get all the information possible off your phone and if you do what they ask your account will in in trouble. PLEASE ANYONE AND EVERYONE do not responde call your local bank or 1-800-suntrust.

I received this text on my cell phone today. I googled the # , it is from New York.
SCAM FOR SURE!

I got the same text message. i called back from my work# and it asked me toenter my card # to unlock my acct. I hung up. The text said it was from Suntrust.

My brother and mom got the same message and neither of them bank with suntrust!

Just got same msg, 2/13 @ 4:37 pm, not bothering calling back

Received a text from Sun Trust saying my account is locked.  I have never had an account with Sun Trust

This just came in a text to my cell number from 9173187478.  "SUN-TRUST MRJN alert 946117.  Please call (800)-6659965"   Obviously not going to reply.  The 917 number lists as being cell from NYC.  Reeks of SCAM!

They don't know your bank because they told me it was from Suntrust and I am not a Suntrust customer.

Just wondered if this is a bank or a scam call of some kind?

Wife got text message from this number for blocked acct with suntrust. We have no account.

My husband got a text from this number on his work phone about debit card being locked.   Don't know how they got his work number.   Big scam!!

They are sending text messages to call this number and scary thing is they know your bank.

I called it back and they gave me a unicorn!

Called said my bank account was blocked..called bank no problems...it's a scam!!!!

I received call as a message asking me to call because bank acct. was locked...so sick of this kind of call!!!
