Got a call today from this number. Had a little trouble understanding what the woman was saying, she spoke briskly and  I didn't catch everything, and she said a LOT. However, I will relay what they said to me (that I managed to understand and write down).

They said that we had won a gift package for my fiancée and I, and that they would give it to me after attending "the presentation". The presentation was at a hotel in downtown Minneapolis at the AmericInn on Sept. 6th. (in whatever room). She said that they would be cooking for my fiancée and I before/during the presentation and that we would not have to pay a fee. She said I would receive a voucher for either a pair of wedding bands from JVLjewelry.com or a vacation package from vivaresorts.com. Which one I accepted is "my choice" and gave me the websites and told me to look them over before we attended. She stated that  if I chose the rings we would have to pay shipping (which she claimed would be 24.99) but that they would cover the rest of the cost of the rings. And that the vacation would cover the hotel fee (not the plane tickets) alcohol, and non-motorized entertainment. I did not catch if it included food. They also stated that my fiancée would be signed up to win a new Harley, and that I could sign up for something too but I didn't manage to write it down before she kept talking. I was given a callback number (1-800-676-4731) that did not match the number she called from (608-663-6138). She stated several times that the vouchers were only good for up to 18 months by the way.

I also signed up for information from David's Bridal, so I am sure this is how they got my info.
I would be curious to find out if anyone managed to get their "gifts" without buying their cookware however. I have all of my future cookware in my hope chest, so I know I wouldn't be very tempted to buy it. But I don't want to waste my time if I can't get the "gift" without forking over a ton of cash. If we decide to risk it, I will report back with the results!! They gave me the number to the hotel and I plan to call and verify.

My Fiance called me up telling me that we have been offered ring or a vacation to the Dominican Republic.  I asked her for the number they gave her : 1800-676-4731.

After calling 1800-676-4731 and giving them the confirmation number they gave my fiance' I asked to know more information.  The woman explained that we would have to sit through a live 90 minute cooking demonstration at the Hampton Inn in Scottsdale.  They do business with "Dinner 4 Two" and they are called Royal Prestige.

Dinner 4 Two: http://www.dinner4two.com/

Royal Prestige: http://www.royalprestige.com/Products/RoyalPrestige/Cookware.aspx

It is just a way to get soon to be married couples to do a cooking demonstration, similar timeshare presentation.

Please check these websites for more information about their "presentation":

I registered online on David's bridal a month ago and received this call today. I didn't answer the call as I didn't know the number. A lady named Ashley left me a message saying that me and my significant other won a bridal package of some sort and they needed more information from me!! Glad I googled the number before calling back!!!

I received a call from the HY CITE Corporation, They said it was Barbara calling for my daugther Tristan about a bridal package she had won, Left this on a message on my answering machine, saying "congratulations and to please give her a call back for the details of the Bridal Package for had won." We haven't entered any bridal shows, only purchased her wedding gown and the brides maids dresses from DAVID'S BRIDAL. I think it is mean to mess with a Bride's feelings about winning something special for their day, and then trying to con them out of money they don't have because their getting married.

I went through this before with my first engagement... they say congratulations, all you need to do to collect your free honeymoon is come down to a local hotel and 'listen' to our presentation. However, even after buying something, the phone number to set up our package never worked after that day. Don't be the victim like I was those many years ago!

i just got a call that i won a drawing from Davids Bridal, and i get to choose between a 3 night, 2 day trip to the Dominican republic with drinks and meals paid and some excursions, or jewelry, or a trip to one of three states in the US. Skeptical on this, as they said i had to go to the Clarion Hotel in princeton and sit through a 90 minute presentation for ?.

I received a call from this place this morning. Same thing; low voice, bridal package, etc. I'm pretty upset to see that the link is David's Bridal. Not only was I NOT happy with their "manager," I am not happy AT ALL with this added on.

Well I just got a call from this number " Hi this is Marcy giving a call from Jennifer to have a prayer package for you and your fiance." Umm I am the last person to sign up for a "prayer package" I don't even know what that could be. I have been to two bridal shows one last october and one this past sunday and did not sign up for anything like that.
After reading the other comments I backed out to my search on google and found this site http://wisconsinbridalshows.com/exhibitor.htm ... tegory.id=38611

I never signed up for this or anything like it so I am unsure how they got my information. As far as Davids Bridal goes, I have my email on their site but my phone number is not listed so I don't think it could be. If I am home next time I will answer and get to the bottom of this mess. Just beware!

I gave my info to David's bridal in the summer, never received any calls. Then after attending a Wedding show, where I filled out so many of ballots for draws, I got a call. It's not David's bridal giving out your information, it's definitely you giving it to these people, they usually get it from wedding shows when you fill out all the draw ballots, some are legit and some aren't. I fully remember exactly which booth at the wedding show this was for, and I only filled out the ballot to get a free gift at the time.

I'm curious about this, from what I've read online it sounds like you legitimately get the rings, but have to pay shipping at $25/ring. Now $50 for 2 wedding bands doesn't sound too bad at all, as long as you find ones you like. So now I'm curious if anyone did the demonstration, didn't purchase anything and ordered their 'free' wedding bands, how was the quality and of course did you actually receive the rings.

I am assuming that my number was sold to this company from David's Bridal.  I entered a contest on their website and since then I have been getting calls from companies telling me that I have "won" some type of prize.  I never walked into David's Bridal, never purchased anything from them in store or online.

Same here.  I've been getting phone calls since the end of the summer from a 608 number.  Dozens of calls.  They left me alone for a while, but have started again.  From the most recent voicemail, I was finally able to understand where they were calling from-Dinner for Two!  I decided to look up the number, and I'm amazed at how many people are having the same issue!  The only possible way they could have known is through facebook (although my number is not posted), or David's Bridal (I registered online).  It must be David's Bridal, because it sounds like the same story with everyone.  It's clearly a scam, I hope no one takes them seriously!  My local DB had nothing to do with this, so I'm going to complain higher up.  My upcoming wedding will be one of the happiest days of my life, I don't want to be bothered by spam!

I signed up with David's Bridal a couple weeks ago and in addition to receiving all kinds of emails for bridal events and shows, I also got this call AT WORK. A woman named "Lilly" said I'd won something. I haven't signed up for any other bridal webpages or in any stores, etc, so I know David's is to blame here. I will be letting them know how displeased I am!!

I just got the same call.  So thankful I looked it up and saw all these posts before calling back to "claim my bridal package." I also signed up with David's bridal.  I thought they were an upstanding company but obviously that is not the case.  They have lost all of my business

Literally just got a voicemail from  608-663-8591 telling me I won an engagement package and congrats, asking me to call 800-676-4731.  I'm glad I don't answer unknown callers, and I'm glad I checked online and got to this site before I got too excited...
I haven't been to any bridal shows or given out my phone number to ANYONE...  I know I get emails from David's Bridal, so I must have given them my phone number too.  This is such garbage.

I got a call from Dinner 4 Two just a few day's ago. It's a good thing that I looked them up online. I didn't sign up for winning anything, except a $500 gift card from Oriental Trading Company. So I called the 1-800 # and they said I won a wedding package. I haven't even been engaged for 2 months yet and I'm already getting these phone calls, give me a break.  When I talked to the lady on the phone, I told her I wanted to know who gave out my information. She told me it had to be a family member or a friend. I called my mother & my sister and they had never herd of Dinner 4 Two. I might just have to have a talk with David's Bridal. I feel sorry for my mother and sister, for the not so happy tone I used with them. I will be telling Dinner 4 Two to take a hike. I have 2 years of weeding planning to do, I don't have time for this.

I just got this call. I figure it had to be DAvid's Bridal that gave my info to them. I "signed on" to show up on Sunday but I have NO intention of going. I just listened to his pitch, laughing to myself, because 1) I have a farm full of animals and I don't go ANYWHERE for vacation, 2) I already have my wedding bands, and 3) Crystal? SERIOUSLY? I have two kids under 8 years old in my house and the last thing I need is more glass for them to break. What a load of CRAP.
