This number 1-800-679-7169 keeps calling. Finally answered and they said it was from First Premier Bank, yet I recognized the voice and I know who the powerful CEO is. What should I do?
Thanks,

Now they are doing the same thing from another number (800) 679-3604.  This is the "Reply to:" number stated in the "memo".

After a bit more research (shown below), it appears their Long Distance carrier is actually in southern California.  One could pursue the carrier with a cease and desist order.  The carrier can be named as a defendant since they are providing the services through which the illegal activity is being performed.  If the carrier knowingly continues to participate in that activity, they can be found liable for damages.  They don’t like that.  Pursue the carrier and ask for their legal department.  Ask for a cease and desist from that number.  They will not provide you with the contact name since it will be an unpublished number, but they are obligated to pursue complaints about that number.  

How do I know this?  Been there, done that.  Another unscrupulous travel company based in Florida harassed us for months.  Joe doesn’t call anymore….

We constantly receive faxes that look like company memos adressed to "all employees". Now that I'm researching it, I see that it's all BS. Hope no one falls for this because apparently they're in Mexico where US law enforcement will not be able to help!

CANCUN BEST FARES IS A FAKE.. MY STORY IS LONG, BUT I CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH THAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. I HAVE BEEN DISPUTING A CHARGE AND I TRY TO CALL THEM AND THEY ACTUALLY HANG UP WHEN I ASK TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER. I REALIZE THAT I WILL NEVER GET MY 1000 BACK... BECAUSE UNFORTUNATELY I USED MY DEBIT CARD TO PAY. BIG LESSON LEARNED. I AM JUST TAKEN BACK BY THE HATEFULNESS IN OTHERS...

Wow..thank you all. I did some research on this company on the internet when they tried to push for my credit card number on the first call. The website seemed ligit, but now the website is "suspended."
I almost signed up for the trip and brought 5 other friends with. That would have ruined my reputation if this all came to be a scam. I was optimistic at the beginning because I have bought packages similar to this before. When I googled this company I found reports of them on a website that is strictly to report "rip offs."

just thought you might like to know I tried stopping payment on this because I didn't have money in my account.  They still went in on 2 different occassions and took out $822.00 twice.  I had tried to stop this withdrawl at my bank but it had already happened so I'm now out $1644.00 and can't get any satisfaction from any any one and can't find them on the Internet.  Don't know what else to do - what showed up in the mail is certainly now worth $1644.00.  Have tried calling them but can't to talk to anyone they keep putting me on hold.

This companie's website is cancunbestfares.com Below is a link to a page where you can contact them by email.
http://www.cancunbestfares.com/shop/contact_us.php
They claim that they are in Mexico, but they are registered in Arizona. Another phone number they use is 800-670-3417. When you contact them at that number you get the same rude people (Jackie) but a different company name and they are also supposedly located in Mexico. Now what are the odds of that??? How wierd!!!
Here's a few more interesting details:
1) They only have 2 reviews on their site. Hmmm
2) This is supposedly their address in Mexico.
I'll stop by next time i'm there and update here.
Centro Comercial Chedraui
Local 4. E Suite 8-556
Playa Del Carmen Q. Roo. MX
C.P. 77710
3) Here's how the website is registered:
Technical Contact:
     Private, Registration  CANCUNBESTFARES.COM@domainsbyproxy.com
     Domains by Proxy, Inc.
     DomainsByProxy.com

Domains by proxy means that you have no way of finding out who they are unless you subpeona them. Hmmm, How Convenient!
4) There is a Class action against them in the state of CA, you can contact :

I called 800-679-7169 and asked for the name of the company. I was asked who I was. I again asked for the name of the company and was again asked who I was. After repeated attempts to remove my name from their directory, I was told by a manager that they would put my fax number on a list to "call me forever" and that I would never be taken off this list.
I filed a complaint with local police and am filing a complaint with BBB and FCC.

I'VE ALREADY CALLED TWICE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST, AND THEY KEEP SENDING ME THEIR JUNK.

Unsolicited fax advertisement that I have formally reported to FCC. I recommend that more of us do that.
I keep a form on my desk and fax it off to the FCC everytime I get an unsolicited fax.  It takes a few minutes but I feel it may be worth it especially if the FCC got these in mass from all of us who suffer with this waste of paper and time.

The FCC can issue warning citations and impose fines against companies violating or suspected of violating the junk fax rules, but does not award individual damages. If you have received a fax advertisement from someone who does not have an EBR with you or to whom you have not provided prior express permission to send fax advertisements, you can file a complaint with the FCC. You can file your complaint by completing the FCC?s on-line complaint Form 1088 at: www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html; e-mailing fccinfo@fcc.gov; calling 1-888-CALL-FCC (1-888-225-5322) voice or 1-888-TELL-FCC (1-888-835-5322) TTY; faxing 1-866-418-0232; or writing to:
